I've been here a few times and the tortas de asada are bomb. I also love the salsa and customer service. This is one of my go to spots.

I walked in, to non friendly environment. No greeting. Just got shoved a menu, while I was looking up at the menu. I said hi, and requested my food. The girl was not wearing a mask, she smirked when I gave her my card. She returned it to me. While I waited for my food, her shirt kept riding up and I could see her midriff. My mom and I decided to try El Big Tacos new location on Main & Stapley. We went for lunch and used the drive through. The owner (Robert) was cooking & the other owner, his wife (Berta) was taking the orders. We both ordered a deep fried (chimichanga style) bean & cheese burrito and each of us had a side of rice and a side of beans. The food was delicious! Berta doesn't speak English so Robert would come from the back to answer any questions we had. They were the sweetest people and made us feel like they were really happy we were there. I highly recommend this place! The building doesn't look like much, but the food was amazing. The burrito I had was so big, I had the other 1/2 for lunch the next day. Dont bother unless you call ahead to make sure they are actually open. Their posted hours mean nothing. Some weeks they are closed on a monday, some weeks tuesday, some weeks friday or saturday or both. Its a shame, cuz the food is 10/10. But Im not driving an hour anymore to find out they are closed. We came to this taco truck last night and ordered 8 tacos (4x carne asada, 1 pollo asada, 1 cabeza, 1 lengua and 1 al pastor) carne asada fries and a bean & cheese burrito. 30 dollars for the dinner. Tacos had good tortillas but couldnt hold up to the meat and salsa so a very messy taco. Lengua & cabeza were tasty. Carne, pollo and pastor were overseasoned and a bit overcooked. Bummer their tacos dont include guacamole! Bean burrito tasted like canned beans. Carne asada fries were decent. They were very stingy with their salsa. They handed my bf 2 small salsas. When i went back and asked for more the lady told me "no mas" i had to break out my high school spanish knowledge to tell her i paid 30 dollars here and i want 4 green salsas! read more

The street noise, parking lot asphalt atmosphere and heat should not deter you from this wonderful place!! It is not good, it is great! My love and I went here on a whim after we saw it on the side of the road and all the great reviews. We were hangry and had already gone through a ton of monies over the weekend. Well, sometimes there is a diamond in rough, this is one. For ten freaking dollars we got four tacos and a Mandarin Jalisco. Let me start with the pastor, we each got one and they were amazing. I wish there was pineapple but I know everyone does it different, it was so good regardless. There was also a huge amount of pastor accompanied by cilantro, onions and this wonderful salsa! The pollo taco was equally generous on the amount of meat and the chicken cooked and seasoned/marinated perfectly. My boyfriend also got a chorizo taco...holy crap! So good, authentic and HOT!! The service was wonderful, the ambiance is non-existent since this is a taco stand but when food is this good, service is excellent and it is dirt cheap, just shut and enjoy as we did :) read more

I'm from Los Angeles, CA!... we take our tacos seriously and there is nothing compared to the tacos back home, but this place takes the cake for Arizona!
