The best food, we had lobster and it was delicious and FRESH!! The waiter was amazing, perfect service and loved the concept of the restaurant. Definitely going back!

    Half a dozen oysters - $12.5

We came here on the last day during our trip in Puerto Rico, wanting to check out Fajardo. We followed the reviews and found this place, agree with the overall 4/5 rating. We ordered three things: fish taco $4; red snapper $18 and oysters $12.5. Fish taro js a bomb, 6/5 haha. Only $4 and you will get a very sizable fish taro with just the perfect temperature and toppings. Go for them. Oysters are bad, 1/5. Very very fishy. I grew up by the ocean and can handle fishy food more than 99% of the people, yet this oysters appetizer is just sooo fishy. No no. Red snapper is okay, 4.5/5. It has good flavor and I am happy that they offered to boil it instead of deep frying it. I am so done with deep fried food after being in Puerto Rico for a week. The downside is that (1) this place doesn't have an ocean view though walkable to the water; and (2) because it is so close to the water, it has a lot of flies and bugs along with some smell.

This place is pretty hidden! We stumbled across it when we were parked looking for a place to eat! We decided to be seated outside, they had standard plastic chairs and tables under canopy's. They did have a chicken coup with chickens casually walking around as we ate which was cool. I am vegetarian but normally I know places will have some sort of plate. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I had a side of vegetables and a side of rice and beans. The beans were cold as if they just came out of the fridge. My boyfriend had a lobster and shrimp tacos, despite being different from traditional tacos he said they were good. The appetizers were the BEST part of the place. We got fried plantains, coconut arepas, and corn sticks. All were super yummy. I definitely recommend this spot for some cheap apps and beers to hold you over until you're ready for a meal!

Not a friendly waitress, never comes around only when is time to tip,she will stand there and wait

Run to la parrilla #2 about 10 min away ,food was not fresh and overpriced lobster.squid and octupus too soggy.we order few things and was not worth it .only locals are treated nicely if you are a tourist forget about good customer service .This is one of those hit and miss places we were recommended here but instead felt like we walked into my aunts backyard restaurant. Claims to have fresh seafood but not worth the money for better quality service and enough servers not to let you drown on your saliva go elsewhere any restaurant near la parrila will be great.Fish was mushy and paid $20 for just few pieces seriously their prices should be dropped if they want tourist to spend their money here .la estacion met our expectations enough servers and great food made by a real chef not a soggy old fish .if you want overpriced food and a place filled with fake reviews try it for yourself.one more thing we asked for lemon or limes and they said we ran out instead of walking next door and buying some from other restaurants we have no lemon we ran out.what kind of seafood restaurant have no lemon I had to throw away the leftover fish away .if the fish or lobster tasted great needs no lemon but butter was oily and greasy .take pepto and immodium when you go .you will be greeted by few roosters and get bitten by mosquitoes while you dine outside unless you want the locals screaming inside next to you go inside.if you think I am saying locals is because seems like they all know each other and they do get seated right away and get clean tables tourist get the end of the stick .

King fish (caught from deep sea fishing charter earlier in the day)

This place was great! We went on a deep sea fishing charter trip the same morning (the charter we did was KonKlma Fishing Charters - which I highly recommend!!) and were recommended to take our catch to this restaurant to have it cooked for us. They did not disappoint! They grilled our king fish excellently! We could not stop eating it. We also got 2 sides of vegetables and 2 sides of rice and beans stew, which were both splendid! We ordered a tomato base sauce on the side of our fish as well, and the sauce was excellent! Everything about our food and experience (including the service) was great! We would definitely come back.

Very nice place, we were sitting outside, nice breeze, we could hear the birds sing and sometimes we could hear the waves, I will recommend this place to my friends and family

Gross!!! Picture looks great but shrimp should be edible, not this one, it tasted old and smelled horrible!!!!
    Nicole P.

This place is absolutely horrible!!! The only good thing was our kind and understanding waitress!!! We found this place on YELP and it was highly rated so we decided to try it out. The lobster tacos looked good from outside but once you cut them open a horrible fishy smell immediately hits you. Seafood should not smell like a sour rotten fishy smell. Took one bite and it was horrible, definitely wasn't lobster. We didn't eat them. Our meals came out and the shrimp was definitely old, my friend nearly vomited after first bite. I attempted a piece of mine and it was definitely bad!!! The mofongo was hard and no flavor. We returned our food. The manager came out very rude and told us it's fish it's supposed to taste fishy!!! Uhhh no!! Save your time and money and drive down a bit further to the other restaurants on the beach!!! We found a nice seafood restaurant a few blocks away and the seafood tasted so fresh and we learned it was all caught that day!

We had a variety of smoked meats, the mahi mahi over coconut rice, and the smoked pastrami. Their sides were also really good, and so were the mixed drinks. The outside seating was made comfortable with numerous fans and cover for rain/sun. The service was also great. You will definitely want to make a reservation ahead of time.

There is an uncovered patio with seating and straw-covered umbrellas. We did not have a reservation, but were able to get seated within 10 minutes of arrival. A reservation is a must. There is an area adjacent to the restaurant that sells the food items by the pound. This is one of the more expensive places to eat on this side of the island. The smell of the smoked meat and seasonings is intoxicating, drawing you in. I had a glass of lemonade, Caribbean Chicken Wings Ceviche, and a smoked tuna dip. My main course was the grilled lobster and fries. I sampled the cole slaw, red beans, and rice. The lemonade was very watery, as if it had been poured before and was ready for guests when they ordered it, since it was served quickly. Would take a pass on this. The Caribbean Chicken Wings were delightful. It has a sweet, smoky, slightly crunchy texture, with just a pinch of spice, heat, and flavor. I enjoyed this and did not want to share with family. The smoked tuna dip was delightful, not overly creamy, and retained the tuna's texture and flavor; I wanted to order another and would have appreciated a few more wings than what was served. The Ceviche was a little underwhelming but done well. I am on the picket fence on whether pineapple helps or hurts the dish, so I would pass on this when going back. The grilled lobster was beautifully presented. The spices and grilled marks were prominent and beautiful. The spices and flowers were just amazing, and they retained the lobster flavor despite the bold seasonings. The red beans and rice were well-cooked, but had very little flavor. This was disappointing given how ubiquitous this dish is on the island and the restaurant's ability. My son had the El Matahambre: "Kill your hunger" BBQ sandwich. Pulled pork, smoked bacon, BBQ sauce, and cheddar on a local bread called Mayorca. I sampled the pork. Tender, well done, seasoned, and perfect. This is a must-stop place. Remember to set a reservation, and that this is not a cheap place to eat. I want to go back soon, and I am wondering if they would ever consider chicken beyond the appetizer.
