    Al pastor quesadilla
    Caleb J.

Used to think this place was very subpar but the past 2 times I've been, I really enjoyed it. I think the food can be a little oil-y occasionally but it depends. I also got an Al pastor taco but forgot the photo, which was great with their green salsa! Workers are great here and love to crack jokes with you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere here is great and you can see the people grilling actively.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The quesadilla is actually huge compared to what I think you'd get at a normal restaurant. Very cheesy & lots of meat, so if that's your mojo, I'd go-jo

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a great location for a quick game day meal to go or eat in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We wanted something quick to grab and go so we went with a chicken tamale and asada taco. The tamale masa is moist and the chicken is good. Feel like some Mexican food for the game? Stop here and give them a try. Happy to report that the tamale is good! They wrapped everything nicely with extra napkins and two forks and a knife. I appreciate this level of care. I wish that I had ordered a burrito because we can only eat so many Chicago dogs. We walked right over from the train station.

Right by Wrigley; stopped in for a quick bite before the game. Service was prompt and fast. Ordered the steak burrito and it was ok....hits lacked a good seasoning flavor. Not much cheese or beans in the burrito. My order did come with complimentary chips and (3) types of salsas. Those were all real good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is clean....and a nice little cute place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Never had any problems with the daytime staff always welcoming. Tonight. Staff is rude and doesn't provide the same customer service. All I asked for was a plate. They denied me dining service. I noticed as other white customers left they were giving the have a nice day. My last time. No have a nice day for me after spending money. None of the black customers got the have a nice day! Day time staff is friendly

Solid place to eat at the end of the night. I had the steak torta and chichen tacos. I was pretty happy with how everything tasted. The guys working there was so nice. I got to practice my Spanish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little place to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A block from the Wrigley field stadium. Stop by and check them out. Not perfect but pretty good.

I LOVE this place. I have passed by El Burito so many times and never went in. Well, Im glad I did. I was running errands and decided to get off the Addison redline stop. This place is small, quaint and quiet. The gentlmen behind the counter were so nice and friendly. It was very clean and organized. I placed my order and sat at my table. I was so surprised to have the cook bring me chips and salsa ,at not charge. I ordered Beef Nachos. The nachos were so DELICIOUS. So cheesy, full of beef and lots of chips. Not greasy at all. The menu was HUGE and has something for everyone! PROS: Food was great Large menu Clean Staff was so friendly Great Prices Not greasy CONS: I wanted more, but to full.

Nice quick lunch before the cubs game! A group of 7 of us came by for a quick lunch! This place was great! My wife and I shared the 3 tacos dinner with 2 chicken and 1 Al pastor with rice and beans! If you dine in you also get free chips and salad! The chips were just ok nothing impressive! The salsa was pretty good! The mild is the best! The rice and beans were excellent! The tacos were all authentic, fresh and delicious! We definitely recommend this joint for a quick lunch before any cubs game!

Super tender carne asada - not charred but good seasoned flavor. Salsa roha was great, salsa verde was fine, good pico. Chips come with everything and the salsa's. Good filling food thats pretty affordable right by Wrigley

I ordered the burrito de lengua and a taco al pastor. Both were amazing. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. This is right by a cta redline stop, a very good location. Try it if you are ever in the area in Chicago!

When I entered the restaurant the instant aura I got from it were of high quality. I was greeted by friendly staff who helped me get my food fast. The tacos were amazing! Good flavor with a great green salsa. The quesadilla was a bit bland for my taste but overall not bad.

Starting with margaritas (because obviously ‍), queso and chips that were dangerously good, and the chicken empanadas that came out perfectly crispy with so much flavor. We kept looking at each other after every bite like "okay wait... THIS is the best thing here" and then another plate would arrive and prove us wrong again The carnitas fried rice??? I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it. So savory, flavorful, comforting, and packed with crispy carnitas on top with the eggs and pickled onions... literally unreal. And then the skirt steak tacos absolutely stole the show. The steak was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and paired so perfectly with all the toppings and sauces. Every single bite tasted fresh and homemade in the best way possible. And can we talk about the ambience for a second because WOW. The music, the energy, the vibe inside, everyone celebrating, the drinks flowing -- it felt like the perfect Cinco de Mayo dinner spot. The service was also AMAZING from start to finish and made the entire experience even better. One of those dinners where you leave already talking about when you're coming back If you're looking for the place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, date night, tacos & margaritas, or honestly just an incredible dinner in general... this is IT

Appetizers were quac and chips, and shrimp ceviche. The guac was really good, but the ceviche was the star. Served on a bed of cucumbers, it was visually beautiful, and the flavor was fresh and complex. There was also a LOT of it. We ended up taking some home. Entrees were steak and shrimp for me, and Tampiquena for my friend. In both dishes, the steak was done to perfection. The sauce that came with my shrimp was spicy and deep--lots of flavor layers there. Both of us took home portions of our meals because there was a lot of food on the plates. Finally, the service--the servers are attentive without hovering. If we needed something, they were there, but never intrusive. It is hard to believe this is a little neighborhood spot, given the service and the quality of the food. It was not too busy tonight--we ate early--but I recommend reservations. It is very popular with the neighborhood. Bottom line, we each had 2 margaritas, appetizers, and entrees, and our bills with tip were around $105.00 each--totally worth it! Try this little gem--you won't regret it.

Most of the reviews recommended the enchiladas and we ordered a variety of them. The Enchiladas Poblanos stuffed with chicken and cheese. The poblano sauce was rich and smoky. We also had the Enchiladas Morita. They were filled with shrimp and cheese. It was so flavorful and the morita chile added so much flavor. Each dish was served with a side jicama salad. Their special was a shrimp pasta with lobster. It came with full lobster tail. The sauce was creamy and flavorful. It is also BYOB, which is a nice option. Service was excellent, friendly offered recommendations. This is probably one of my favorite Mexican restaurants and highly recommend.

It was a hot, humid day, but apparently it was warmer inside than on their sidewalk seating, so we dined outside. My wife ordered the Vegetarian Torta ($13.75) and I chose the Shrimp Torta ($14.50). Only real negatives were that they did not offer any draft beer options and the Chips y Salsa ($3.75) had a meager quantity of chips to eat their tasty and generous tomatillo and 3-chile salsa options. Would actually go 4.5 stars based on those 2 factors, but gave the benefit of the extra half star due to how good our service was and the excellent flavor of the veggie sandwich.
