Great place for pickup or delivery, especially since it's open late late (or early depending on your lifestyle). Cashiers and staff are all super friendly. The prices are really cheap for huge portions, especially for the plate options. They have a pretty small menu but the portions are heaping. Interior is very simple but is simple and clean. The meat tastes well flavored and isn't overly oily like some other similar Mexican places. Burritos are very large. You can ask for squeeze bottles of hot sauce which are delicious. Received 2 burritos via BOGO free on a Uber eats special. The steak was either marinated in black pepper or it was sprinkled on the meat when cooked. I barely ate my burrito and threw the free one away. Also they forgot the sour cream which was a bust because my burritos only contain steak, sour cream, rice and cheese. Breakfast burritos are decent. The bacon is thick and kinda rubbery and in long strips vs chopped, which is where they fall short. Refried beans are good and red salsa is hot, in a good way. It's cheap tho, and gets the job done when in need of a bfast burrito. Mostly it's concerning that the workers were not wearing masks while cooking/serving. Tonight we ordered two chicken burritos for pick up through Uber eats. These were the worst chicken burritos I've ever had in my entire life. I literally wanted to throw it in the trash after the first bite. The chicken tasted like canned chicken, also there's some weird type of refried/pork and beans flavor going on. At times I thought I was tasting like a weird SpaghettiOs type of flavor as well, just downright atrocious and nasty. My fiancé was very disgusted and he's not even a picky eater. I ended up throwing up my food within 30 minutes of eating and feel like complete crap. The tortilla was warm, but all the filling inside was cold. Don't order these!!! read more

The meat is always well seasoned and it's nice that the sour cream isn't an extra charge like at some other places. Believe it or not I actually eat here sober during the day, but I know they have many fans for their late night hours and delivery. The burritos are quite sizable and I always leave stuffed and satisfied every time. My incompetent Postmates delivery person gave me the wrong bag and since Postmates has terrible customer service, I wasn't able to call the driver OR Postmates. Instead, I had to email Postmates and wait 50 minutes for a response. In the meantime, I called the restaurant to explain the issue and they contacted Postmates and gave me any correct order...and some free chips and salsa for the error (that totally wasn't theirs). I used to come here in my twenties, and 30 years later, it is still great and consistent. They have great Al Pastor. The burrito that has steak and al pastor is balanced. Their difference versus other places is that they grill the meat for every order and char it just a bit. That my friends is the differentiator that makes this place still one of my top 5 places in the city. I'm not sure where Jaime has gone, but the place is solid. Been visiting on and off for 20+ years. Recommend the steak tacos Americano style. One of the best things on the menu. They'll make nachos if you ask nicely, though that's not on the menu (best with chicken). Good for lunch and extreme late night as they are open on weekends until 5am! Consistently nice people and consistent food quality. Never had any issues here. I would not recommend whoever painted the murals though lol. read more

Got this place for pickup - got a taco salad with ground beef , and a side of beans. Prices for the taco salad were great (about $7.50) including meat. The sides all range between $2-$2.75 if I did it again, i would try a meat besides ground beef. I loved how they put a lot of guac in the taco salad. It's a nice plus! read more
