My boyfriend & I were hungry and getting closer to home, and everything near where we live is basic fast food or same taco trucks we always eat and are kinda tired of. Plus there was lot of traffic on freeway, so we got off on an exit and we seen this taco truck and decided to stop. There was a few people ahead so we decided to just look online at menu and call to order.. I went with a safe option a chicken burrito with everything except sour cream. My man got 2 quesabirria tacos & 2 cheese tacos I believe. My burrito was okay, not bad but not great. Chicken was a lil over seasoned for me. I tried 1 of my mans quesabirria tacos, they were okay. Not bad, but okay. Both salsas were good! Red & green. I think I would be back to try something different, just probably not the chicken.

This is a big a** burrito!! Had to spend all day at a lacrosse 4 v 4 sponsored by Oakland Lacrosse Club at Laney College. Was not looking forward to trying to get lunch for my son and I between back to back games. I mean why would I have thought ahead and made us something for lunch. As game play started and I scrolled through yelp trying to find something nearby (that my son would also eat) I looked up and saw El Burrito Supreme's big a** food truck. I didn't even know they made food trucks that big. That should have been my first I got the super burrito. The lady who took my order tried to explain to me it was an actual super burrito. I'm use to super burrito meaning it comes with sour cream and salsa. But this this was literally super sized. It was big as my forearm. It was a decent burrito too. The only thing I didn't like is that they toasted the outside of the burrito. I prefer biting into a soft tortilla. My son got the nachos and was really happy...I was happy with the few he was willing to share with me.

I've been here once and my gym in Oakland has used them to cater for a Halloween event. The meat quality is good and decently priced. I got two tacos for $2/ea. They are good eats before a training session for me. I got the torta Hawaiian during my Halloween event and oh my gosh- it was so filling and tasty. I loved pineapple, the peppers, the chorizo, ham, cheese- everything!! If you like those ingredients, I definitely recommend getting it as it's so much bang for your buck! The workers are friendly and easy going. The truck is usually by Motel6 on Embarcadero, by 16th Ave. There is abundant parking in the motel parking lot as well as on the street too. Down the street is a Starbucks with pier views.

They were parked right outside our hotel. Everything about the experience was first rate. The truck was spotless. They REQUIRE a mask be worn to order and have a very big sign making that clear. The food selection is quite robust for a food truck. Once we ordered, they cooked each item while we waited (nothing was pre-cooked that I could see). They plate and cover everything with tin foil to keep it warm. The portions were quite filling. My carne asada was marinated and tender. The rice was fluffy. The quesadillas were stuffed with cheese and ingredients. A must try if you are near the truck

Nicely set up shop

Excellent service from an native jamaican Caribbean customer, fast food service very nice workers. I highly recommend this spot.

Traveling from Arizona and found this hot place listed on yelp reviews as best Burrito in Oakland So....worth it

Nothing but the best best for my man. Every where we go George Villanueva has to have a burrito. Yelp reviews are a must when traveling you'll find all the best deals and local reviews.

I worked a soccer event and El Burrito Supreme had a food truck there. Super delicious and friendly. They were great to have at the game.

The food was ok...if you are very hungry and there's nothing else open. The service was not friendly, not rude.

Over price for what the food is , not to mention rude workers. Stay away and find a better taco truck.

I finally got to try Camchilao Food Truck in Oakland, and this is definitely a spot I would go back…read moreto if I'm in the area. It's located on E 12th Street near Fruitvale, and it has that casual food truck setup where you order, wait for your food, and enjoy something that feels a little different from the usual Bay Area food truck options. We went on a Saturday right when they opened, so luckily we did not have to wait. That said, I have heard the wait can get really busy, and they do sell out daily, so I would definitely recommend checking their official Instagram before going. It is the type of place where you want to make sure they are open and see if there are any unexpected closures before making the drive out. Food-wise, there were a lot of strong items. The beef stick was an 8/10 for me. It had good flavor and made for an easy starter while trying a few different things. The Lao sausages were a 10/10 and probably one of the items I would recommend most. They had a nice spicy kick to them without being too much, and the flavor really stood out. The crispy pork belly was also solid at an 8/10. It had that rich, crispy bite you want from pork belly, and it's a good item to add if you're ordering a mix of dishes to share. The standout for me was definitely the garlic shrimp and chicken wings over garlic noodles, which was honestly an 11/10. The garlic noodles were easily some of the best garlic noodles I've had. The flavor was bold, savory, and exactly what I wanted from that kind of dish. I would definitely recommend asking for extra sauce because it makes a huge difference and takes the whole plate to another level. The only thing to keep in mind is parking. Street parking around the area can be a little hard to find, and if you park near the BART area, be careful about signs so you do not risk getting a ticket. Between the possible wait, daily sellouts, and parking situation, it is worth planning ahead a little before going. Overall, Camchilao is a spot I would definitely revisit whenever I'm in Oakland. The Lao sausage was a standout, the crispy pork belly and beef stick were solid, and the garlic shrimp and chicken wings over garlic noodles were the kind of dish I'd come back for by itself. Just check their Instagram before heading over and ask for extra sauce.

We had to catch them before they sell out! You gontta go during lunch hour for realz.. I enjoyed my fave garlic Shrimp & Garlic Noodles. They pack it up real good. Omg so yummy. My husband had the Lao Sausages & Fried Pork over rice. He enjoyed as well. They also have other vendors with them as well. Love to come here when we can.

I love the idea of Filipino and Middle Eastern eats in one food truck!…read more I used to frequent this yummy food truck/tent when they used to come to the Kaiser Vallejo and Oakland farmers markets pre-pandemic. Their truck/tent was always colorful and inviting with friendly workers. My favorite and go-to was the shawarma wrap, which was huge, flavorful and delicious. I also liked their lumpia as a side dish. I just tried them again at the Spring Brews Fest in Todos Santos Plaza today and had to get my OG chicken shawarma wrap- it's literally been years since I had it. The wait was pretty long but expected at peak hours of the event. Although it was still good with the flavorful chicken, fresh produce, and tasty sauces, the wrap was smaller than I remembered and more expensive by a few bucks. The staff was working pretty hard cranking out all the orders so I gotta give them credit for surviving during the pandemic and economic crisis. The menu has some other tempting items like my people's pancit, adobo - I'll have to try their combos and the shawarma fries next time I see them in town!
