Fairly quiet, just the sounds of traffic. Placed my order, took about 5 minutes to get. I ordered 2 asada and 1 carnitas. This is my standard order. Was decent. It must have been the carnitas taco. As a Texas native I am no stranger to good Mexican Street food. This truck was parked right outside my hotel, so I thought I would give it a try. The menu was a little clunky, but I worked through it. I ordered the carnitas street tacos. Let me tell you,...they do it lazy in Texas. These were probably some of the best carnitas tacos I've ever had. The service was sufficient. The ladies inside the truck can barely hear you. They also struggled with the English. We worked it out in the end. Prices were reasonable. I got 4 tacos for $14. They were typical small street taco size, but they came loaded. Peppers, hot pickled carrots, verde sauce, purple onions, cilantro, etc. Only thing that made me nervous was the displayed permit was 1 year out of date. But hey, sometimes you got to risk it. I've been traveling to Oakland a lot lately and this truck is usually parked outside the hotel I frequent. I kind of slept on it and actually sought out taco trucks in other areas of town on some vague idea that it probably was just acceptable food for tourists. But one evening I was back at the hotel and didn't want to leave so I gave it a shot and it was the bomb. I ordered pupusa's revuelta, and they were just as good as some that I've gotten at specialized pupuserias elsewhere. Excellent ratio of fillings, hot and fresh, good curtido, good salsa. They were spot on, crazy delicious and under $5 - basically every single thing you want from a taco truck. I've gotten them a few times since and never been disappointed. In fact, they're so good that I can't bring myself to order something else so I haven't tried the rest of the menu. Service is pretty quick, everything was piping hot and fresh. Just overall a great spot. If you aren't a traveler and live nearby, another bonus is access to public shore right behind the hotel. On a nice day (well, they're still there on a bad day but not so enjoyable lol) there are a number of picnic tables and benches nearby where you can sit by the water and enjoy some peace. It's right near the freeway but once you walk around to the Embarcadero, the freeway noise fades away and it is remarkably quiet. read more

All bomb af and I say this from the palette of a complete food snob. This is a big a** burrito!! Had to spend all day at a lacrosse 4 v 4 sponsored by Oakland Lacrosse Club at Laney College. Was not looking forward to trying to get lunch for my son and I between back to back games. I mean why would I have thought ahead and made us something for lunch. As game play started and I scrolled through yelp trying to find something nearby (that my son would also eat) I looked up and saw El Burrito Supreme's big a** food truck. I didn't even know they made food trucks that big. That should have been my first I got the super burrito. The lady who took my order tried to explain to me it was an actual super burrito. I'm use to super burrito meaning it comes with sour cream and salsa. But this this was literally super sized. It was big as my forearm. It was a decent burrito too. I've been here once and my gym in Oakland has used them to cater for a Halloween event. The meat quality is good and decently priced. I got two tacos for $2/ea. They are good eats before a training session for me. I got the torta Hawaiian during my Halloween event and oh my gosh- it was so filling and tasty. I loved pineapple, the peppers, the chorizo, ham, cheese- everything!! If you like those ingredients, I definitely recommend getting it as it's so much bang for your buck! The workers are friendly and easy going. The truck is usually by Motel6 on Embarcadero, by 16th Ave. There is abundant parking in the motel parking lot as well as on the street too. They were parked right outside our hotel. Everything about the experience was first rate. The truck was spotless. They REQUIRE a mask be worn to order and have a very big sign making that clear. The food selection is quite robust for a food truck. Once we ordered, they cooked each item while we waited (nothing was pre-cooked that I could see). They plate and cover everything with tin foil to keep it warm. The portions were quite filling. My carne asada was marinated and tender. The rice was fluffy. The nastiest food on earth. My burrito "Reeked" of food hand sanitizer, tasted like hand sanitizer. It was like she coated her hands with hand sanitizer then made the burrito transferring her wet smelly over sanitized hands onto the burrito shell. Only giving 1 star because we cannot give a half of a star. We paid $49 for a super burrito-pastor, nachos, steak cheese fries, horchata and jarrito. After waiting 10min for our order they flagged us down saying they no longer have al pastor or Pico de Gallo. They flagged us down again 5min after and said that the super burrito is 20inch (which the menu does not include) We finally received our order after 30min. They were not busy and had given 5 other people their order that ordered after us. We did not receive our nachos as the lady who took our order barely speaks English and said we didn't order that. In total we have paid $49 for a super burrito and steak fries asking for a refund for the $12 nachos they said that they charged $1 per shrimp. YES $1 FOR EACH SHRIMP. Ridiculous! We DO NOT RECOMMEND to eat here. For that 30min wait the shrimp was over cooked, the rice was hard and had huge onions in the steak nachos read more

Went here to try the quesa birria tacos with consume. Would not return here for them again. They were $5 each and just tasted quite bland. For the price I expected more. Also the consume it came with was only like 2 oz and the bottom half was filled with chickpeas. Felt this was done so that they give you less broth.
