I've been meaning to stop in since they moved to the golf course. It was a nice sunny day and nice to sit outside. The service is impeccable!! The drinks are pretty decent, but the food not so much. They give you nice big portions and the plating is nice, but I don't think they use salt on anything. The food was pretty bland. But I did stop in there on Friday night to check out karaoke and it was packed. I will go back in a Friday to check them out. I will give 4 stars because the service was so good.

My fam & I were there for karaoke Friday night, 6-10pm the staff is amazing very, very attentive. Very exceptional above & beyond. Food is delicious, as well as cocktails. The vibe, & ambience is also a 10/10. We will deff be returning. Overall at 10/10.

First time here definitely won't be the last since I live up the street. My wife and I ordered takeout and it was ready really quickly the food was really good and price is totally reasonable. If you used to go to duffers you'll be blown away by the renovation the place is clean and feels way bigger than it used to. I can't wait for them to get their liquor license this is going to be a great place to watch the game. If you're in area stop by and get some food you won't be disappointed.

This place needs to be full at all times with a line around the corner. Delicious food, top notch service and welcoming vibes. I will definitely be returning.

Great food. Great staff. Top notch karaoke every Friday 6-10pm. Situated at the Star X golf course In the beautiful City of Duarte

    The service setup was great.

I reserved the patio for our Women's Rugby Club's post-match social, and the service, food, and drinks couldn't have been better. We have used this space consistently during past seasons when it was Duffers, however this restaurant is now top-notch food and service! Very accommodating for our large party of 40+ on the patio. Will be coming back throughout our rugby season for sure!

Checked this place out on a rainy evening. We ordered posole, flautas, chile relleno, and guacamole. The posole was fave dish of the night. We also ordered a side of chile relleno, and for $5, it couldn't be beat. I'd order takeout just for the chile relleno. The guacamole was a little too expensive in my opinion, and it tasted like it had a powdered mix in it. They also give you free chips and salsa while you wait for your food. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, and a true mom and pop business.

My husband and I ate here a few Saturdays ago around 5pm. It wasn't busy and we were seated right away inside. There were TVs everywhere playing the soccer game and the horse races. There's also a large outdoor seating area out back under a tent. There's a free parking lot back there, too. FYI, if you use a wheelchair or have a stroller like we did, you'll have to use the sidewalk to enter through the front of the building because to go in through the back, there are a few stairs you have to go down. Our server was very attentive and nice. This is one of those places where the servers tag team the tables, so we were constantly being checked on and having our drinks refilled, which I appreciated. Look at the beautiful drink in my pics! It's a frozen mango margarita and it tasted just as delicious as it looked. Loved the added jalapeño slices and the candy stick in it. My husband loved his, too. I got the chicken enchilada meal and loved it. The chicken was juicy and I liked the sauce. The portion to price ratio at this spot is on point. We have been loyal Cabrera's fans for years, but have had a string of bad experiences there, so we wanted to try another Mexican spot in the area. The two spots are not even a mile apart. Not only is this place cheaper, but its food is more authentic and the service is MUCH better. We'll definitely return to this spot over Cabrera's in the future when craving Mexican food.

I went in on a Monday to watch football. Note! This plate is GIANT- can be shared. I ate the salad and steak and I was full. Delicious for sure! Best salsa. Steak was a bit too done for me but the flavor was excellent. Not sure if I rubbed the waiter wrong though. He was friendly with everyone but me. I had a long day sitting in my husband's room at City of Hope. Felt good to relax. I tried to joke with him, nada... anyway, maybe he was having a bad day.

Maybe cause we were the 1st one's in not sure? We went for breakfast wanting to go to this place for a long time. Walked in the lady mopping with Fabuloso, the scent was in my mouth. Still wanted to eat here ordered breakfast and coffee. Food was good just took a long time to get tortillas by the time I got tortillas my food was cold . Nice gentlemen but Service was just to long if your in a hurry or hungry think twice

The food is very good... I just started coming here and the food has been fresh and hot every time. The enchiladas were cooked with a very mild red sauce. The rice had lots of flavor and was not over cooked or under cooked. It was very flavorful. The waiters are always helpful. Sometimes they have music. Very spacious and will be coming back more!

We went to lunch with family the other day, as this is near their house. It was an ok place to get a meal. Service was a little slow but very friendly. The drinks were strong and the food was decent. I had a Tostada Grande con Pollo (essentially a tostada salad in the shell rather than on a flat tostada). It didn't have much flavor so I asked for the hot salsa, which was not that hot. I actually wanted Tapatio or Chalula but they didn't have any. My husband said his beef enchiladas were good and everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. Like I said, it was fine, just not anything special or super memorable.

Jorge came outside multiple times, clearly saw how many people were waiting, and even recorded the crowd on his phone three different times for social media. Knowing the capacity of the restaurant, he could have easily informed everyone that the remaining people in line would likely not get in. Instead, we waited over three hours with no communication. While we were waiting, I repeatedly watched people call Jorge. He would come outside, greet them, and bring them straight inside. I personally saw this happen at least six different times. When it was finally our turn to speak with the host, we were told there were no seats left, that we would have to stand, and that we wouldn't even be able to order food. I confronted Jorge about letting those other groups in ahead of everyone else. His response was that he knew them personally and that they were friends of the restaurant owners. That explanation only made the situation worse. My wife had just finished a 14-hour hospital shift, and we came here hoping to enjoy the game together. Instead, we spent three hours waiting only to be treated as though our time didn't matter. What was most shocking was Jorge's attitude. He literally told me, "They won't do anything to me if you post this. I'm friends with the owner." If that's the mindset of management, it's no surprise customers are treated this way. It truly felt like only friends and family received special treatment while everyone else was left waiting without honesty or respect. I have no issue waiting when things are busy, but I do expect transparency, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience showed none of those qualities.

Amazing…read morebeers, delicious food, a cool hybrid restaurant setup, attentive staff with cool uniforms. The place was the sh*t. I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House

As I pulled up to the parking lot, I noticed they had an outdoor seating area, which is really nice on hot days. It looked like a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink in the evening. When I went inside, I immediately liked the camping and outdoor vibes. The whole place has that rustic, lodge-style feel that makes it stand out. They had a bunch of pinball machines, which was a fun surprise, and there were murals all around the walls -- including ones of Lakers legend Kobe and the LA Dodgers. It definitely gives off strong local pride and a laid-back atmosphere. The inside is very spacious, with plenty of room to move around and a lot of TV screens, making it a solid spot to catch a game. I could easily see myself coming back to watch a Dodgers game there. That said, my experience at the bar wasn't the best. When I stepped into line to order, it seemed like the two beertenders were a bit distracted. There was a group of ladies sitting at the bar, and it felt like they were getting most of the attention. Usually, beertenders are welcoming and might ask something like, "Is this your first time here?" but the guy with the long mustache who served me gave off more of a "What do you want?" vibe. I asked for a taster, and he did provide one, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask to try anything else. At other breweries, I usually feel encouraged to explore the menu a bit more. Instead, I just winged it and ordered the Pink Lemonade Seltzer. It was okay, but compared to a lot of seltzers out there now, it wasn't very flavorful. It almost had a slight medicine-like taste. Because I didn't really feel the love from the beertenders, I ended up having just one drink and heading out. The space itself has a lot going for it -- great theme, fun games, plenty of TVs, and nice outdoor seating -- but I definitely think there's room for improvement in the customer service department. I might give it another try in the future, especially to catch a Dodgers game, but I'm hoping for a warmer, more welcoming experience next time.

It was crispy enough to keep you wanting more. The flavor wasn't too fishy and it was accompanied by some tasty dipping sauces. Would definitely order again. Molcajete: 4/5 A favorite at our table that was filled with so many protein options and a nice salsa to pair with. We loved the chicken, chorizo, and the queso!! The only reason it got a 4/5 was because the steak was waaaay too salty which made it hard to enjoy. The shrimp was a nice touch, also not too fishy and the bacon paired nicely. You can definitely taste a variety of flavors and it's also a big enough portion to share! Comes with beans and rice which we ended up splitting with our kiddos. Jamaica: 5/5 We loved the Jamaica here and it tastes very traditional. It doesn't taste like it's made from powder and comes in a huge glass cup. Not too sweet and the bold flavor of the hibiscus makes it hard to stop drinking! Loved it. Overall, a great place to dine in for celebrations or just for a nice dinner. Would definitely recommend if you're nearby. I hope to come back soon.

I didn't eat a single bite of it. My wife's steak arrived medium-well, and her side of rice was completely dry. The bottle of red wine we ordered from their very small wine list was served warm. When we declined having the steak re-fired or free dessert, we finished our wine and asked for the check. The $62 inedible steak was still on the bill, so I asked to speak with the owner. When I calmly explained the issues, the owner became angry that I didn't want the steak redone and walked away mid-conversation. He eventually came back, removed the $62 steak, and told us he didn't want us back in his restaurant. To top it off, for an establishment charging fine-dining prices where guests dress up, the owner was wearing shorts and sneakers. One chance is all a restaurant gets to make a good impression. Lincoln House missed the mark completely. We will not be returning.

Ok someone told me to try this place. Def did not disappoint…read more Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 I really do not have any negatives to say! I love the Vince the interior design of the restaurant, def better than their competitors, you know who I'm talking about. The food was wow! I was impressed, pizza to wings to the potatoes. All good. Pizza was cheese pulling good, pepperoni was little crisp, wings were solid, full flavor and it the tray comes with some garlic butter looking bottom, dam it was crispy and good Service was also good, even the beers were brought to the table to me vs going to pick it up at the counter. Glad I finally tried it here and will come back for sure!

Food is good, service is good and the vibes are good…read more We like to come here after work for some drinks and food. It's like a little maze as another Yelper mentioned and I have to agree with them on the claw machines etc., being so bright and at the entrance. It threw me off the first time I visited, I almost walked out thinking it was some sort of Chuck E Cheese equivalent until I noticed there was a bar sign. Pricing is decent and not overly expensive. There's a bar like I mentioned and if you sit in the dining area where the bar is, don't expect anyone to come take your order because you have to get up and order at the bar for drinks and food.

Gen has that rare gift of being everywhere at once: your glass never empties, but somehow she also has time to crack a joke, swap a story, and make you feel like you're the only person in the room. Her style? Effortlessly cool. The kind where you wonder if she was born behind a barstool with a cocktail shaker in her hand. Smooth, attentive, and utterly unflappable, she manages the chaos of a busy bar with the calm of a Zen master and the charm of your funniest friend. They just don't teach service like this anymore -- it's an art form. And Gen? She's Picasso with a pour spout. If The Wheel Bar has a secret ingredient, it's Gen. Long may her brand of bar wizardry live on.

This is disturbing considering our matches ended at 11:30pm. That's also an issue, bc there is one table, we can only play one match at a time, so now we here forever. There is nothing special or significant about this bar. The reason I gave 1 star was the bathroom. I kid you not, there was a fucking hole in the woman's bathroom window! The screen was destroyed, literally anyone can stick their face in and watch you pee. This is really unsafe and so fucked up.
