The food was good and came out fast the food had to much tomatoes on it the salsa is the bomb and the service is mid because it takes like 30 minutes to get the check service and the ambiance noise is quiet, except Mexican music in the back.

Great food. Knocked down one star for not serving brewed iced tea or soft drinks. I ordered the quesa-birria tacos with rice and beans. Dear goodness. These were absolutely delicious and they gave a decent amount of consumme for dipping. Great food and you should give them a try (but they aren't a cheap restaurant). 3 out of 5 dollar bills for cost. 4 out of 5 dollar bills for flavor.

First time here in our way to Santa Barbara and we got hungry so we looked at some spots and found this place and oh my god !! What we ordered was absolutely so good !! The service was amazing and the ambiance was great they have alcohol micheladas ! The service was fast and it was delicious I never order chilaquiles because they never make them good in a lot of places I've checked out ! But I decided to give this place a try on them and definitely amazing !! Can't wait to go back to this place and try something different

This restaurant focused on good food and good hospitality from start to finish. Left this spot satisfied because the meals here meet all expectations every visit. Indoor and outdoor seating- cozy and comfortable environment for a warm morning latte. 5 stars to all staff and chefs. Spot to bring family or friends.

    Wet Chile Verde Burrito 5-23-24

My friend took me here for an early birthday dinner. What a great little place in down town Santa Paula. I got a wet chile verde burrito and we ordered guacamole and chips. The burrito was huge but I still managed to eat it all. Guacamole was chunky and had a great flavor. Service was pretty quick and our waitress was attentive. I also used the facilities and the bathroom was very clean.

It was our wedding anniversary and we went for a drive. Found this cute place. Service was excellent. My ceviche tostada was fresh , tasty, and my Cadillac margarita.. I thought I would never say this , but it was too strong. Good, but whew!!! Maybe I shouldn't have had it for breakfast . Lol

Come here with patience if you're coming on the weekend. It was busy. Stephanie took great care of our table of four. Two moms & two 5 year old boys. Our drinks were tasty. I recommend the mimosas if you come early. The oj is fresh. We enjoyed our food. It was authentic & flavorful.

This was our first time here. The service was excellent. The waitresses checked in frequently. Food- the fried tortillas for the chilaquiles were delicious. The scrambled eggs were over done. The grilled chicken was tasty. The fried beans were plain. Will we go back? Yes.

The space looks terrific -- modern, fresh, and very inviting. We started with the artichoke hearts appetizer, and it was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a bottle of Justin Cabernet Sauvignon, which paired perfectly with the meal. For dinner, I ordered a simple burger with lemon‑dressed salad, and my husband chose the seafood pasta gumbo. Both dishes were excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. We couldn't skip dessert, so we shared the key lime pie, and it was the perfect finish. Everything we tried was tasty, well‑prepared, and beautifully presented. Between the upgraded atmosphere, the great service, and the quality of the food, this restaurant was a wonderful surprise. I highly recommend Parque 1055 to anyone visiting Santa Paula.

We expect a certain standard, a level of care that borders on obsession. So when I catch Evan Williams--respectable, questionable, but barely twelve bucks a bottle--making an appearance behind the bar, it feels like a breach of trust. A quiet betrayal under low lighting. The illusion only works if the details hold up under scrutiny... and that pour? It broke the spell. And then comes the real offense: discovering that your Old Fashioned--the crown jewel of any respectable cocktail program--are built on bottom-shelf, dust-collecting bourbon. That's not just a letdown, it's a slap in the face. A cocktail like that deserves reverence, not shortcuts. And as if to twist the knife, there it was--a massive can of red maraschino cherries sitting shamelessly atop the bar, like some relic from a dive that's given up on finesse. It wasn't just a misstep. It was disrespect. In a place claiming the speakeasy mantle, details like these matter. They're the difference between theater and parody. The cocktails did not warrant the $15 price tag. Moreover, I would have paid more had I know the class of bourbon upfront. What ultimately redeems the space is its ambiance. The low flicker of the fireplace, the soft embrace of worn leather sofas, the curated hum of music floating just above conversation--it's seductive, even soulful. The room itself is small, intimate--the kind of place where you're bound to recognize a face, or at the very least, feel inclined to invite a stranger to share the sofa and maybe a story. And then there's the setting--tucked beneath a historic relic, a basement bar built into the bones of old Americana. The building dates back to the early 1900s, echoing with a past that deserves to be honored, not phoned in. That's exactly why I expected more from the cocktails. A place with this much atmosphere shouldn't fall flat when it comes to what's in the glass. It's a mismatch--a beautiful stage, but a script that doesn't quite rise to meet it.
