Tried Cocina 1912 this weekend- tried their chilaquiles they were good, I think I would've liked them more without the egg. The staff was super friendly and attentive!

First timer great first impression super friendly, food was amazing and the Paloma was definitely recommend.

I've been here a couple times before, but this place just keeps getting better. The service today was great, and the food was on point. The beans and rice were so good I finished them before I even touched my breakfast tacos, and the tacos were amazing. I highly recommend this spot. Even the coffee was solid.

The restaurant was very clean and aesthetically pleasing because of the exposed brick. I got the birria plate with consume and it had so much flavor, it was very filling and the handmade tortillas complimented the meat nicely. The server was attentive and very friendly, she brought out our meal pretty quickly.

Came by here last minute and I was impressed. The food is fresh and high quality. The girl at the counter was so friendly and helpful. She offered us extra coffee and anything we needed. Lastly, the place is so cute! They have it styled like a cute mexican mixed diner vibe. They're playing oldies and it's so clean in here. Highly recommend!

But we have enjoyed our dinner entrees and had a nice experience. So, we have been many times. However, we have also ordered lunch & breakfast &, again, it's pretty pricey but honestly not as satisfying as dinner. The breakfasts are pretty good- have had some nice omelettes. As far as lunch is concerned- I feel disappointed. There was a picture of the fish tacos on yelp that looked good, so I decided to try them for lunch. It was not at all what was pictured. The fish was so so so dry, large clumps of american cheddar and just not any good flavor. Plus- they were $19. For a $19 quick lunch-I just want to enjoy my meal. I have had better fish tacos at Foster's Freeze, to be honest. I dont imagine myself coming here for lunch again.

If you're looking for a place with great food, cold drinks, and an atmosphere that feels like home,…read moreThe Draft Sports Bar & Grill in Santa Paula is the place to be. It's become my go-to spot to relax, unwind, and spend quality time with great friends. One of the things that keeps my wife and me coming back is the outstanding hospitality. The entire staff, including owner Greg, always goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. They're friendly, respectful, attentive, and genuinely make you feel like part of the family. In all the years we've been coming here, we've never had a bad experience. This past Saturday, my wife and I stopped in for lunch because we were craving something different. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich "wet," covered in their homemade buffalo sauce with bacon and lettuce. You can customize it with cheese, tomato, or any toppings you like. It came with a generous serving of perfectly crispy fries that paired perfectly with the sandwich. My wife ordered the wings and chose half traditional buffalo and half garlic lemon pepper. They were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Her meal came with celery, carrots, ranch, extra buffalo sauce, ketchup, and she couldn't resist adding an order of their delicious fries as well. The food arrived quickly, was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and, as always, we had an amazing time. Whether you're looking to grab an ice-cold beer, catch the big game, enjoy a great meal, or simply relax in a welcoming sports bar atmosphere, I highly recommend The Draft. Great people, great food, great service, and an all-around fantastic place that never disappoints.

Located on the first floor of the Inn, you can't miss the entrance once it's dinner time. We went in with no expectations, but were completely blown away with everything Enzo's had to offer! Perfect for a nice dinner date night, I especially liked our booth seat had full wall separation between us and other tables that it didn't feel crowded despite the restaurant actually being relatively packed. Per our waiter's rec (I wish we got his name), we ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and substituted the spaghetti for their Fettuccine Alfredo & the Lemon Broccolini appetizer. They also give complementary warm focaccia bread with oil & balsamic. 11/10. That broccolini had the perfect airy crunch with just the right amount of lemon. For the Alfredo, you just have to try it. the portions are generous, we walked out with leftovers of both still and we shared both plates. Asked for redo, but they had run out of pesto sauce. It took almost 10 minutes to learn that they couldn't redo the dish because no pesto. Lasagna: top was burnt. Server could see it, but delivered anyway. Caprese salad: 3 thin slices of tomatoes with 3 good slices of mozzarella and 3 tiny (almost invisible) basil leaves, with balsamic glaze and 3 thin slices toasted French bread. $14 Dessert: tiramisu and cannoli made on site: excellent! Ordered an espresso martini. 5 mins later, server came back to say they didn't have espresso. Asked if the could make a chocolate martini: they said yes. Poured vodka, heavy cream, chocolate syrup into a martini glass. It was alcohol but not a chocotini. Do NOT recommend. $350 dinner. They comped dessert (that was nice) but overall, no confidence.

The…read morephone reservation was especially pleasant--friendly, courteous, and the owner/manager answered my questions directly (a hospitality level I haven't experienced in years). Arrival was smooth. The half-circle drive off Mill Street is easy to enter and was open when we arrived. The only tip I'd add is once you get past the front area, head toward the rear parking lot for the best flow. Walking up to the front door is charming--Swiss/German country cottage style with historic character, dark wood tones, and shingle siding (with white end units). The lobby setup is warm and inviting, with great lighting and multiple seating areas where you can relax or have a conversation. Check-in was quick and friendly. The staff explained the room ventilation controls and the split cooling system (new technology). The room stayed very quiet and comfortable--our third-floor room cooled to about 65°F each night. The stairs to the third floor were exactly as expected--no elevator--and they felt well designed with consistent tread depth and height. The hallways also have fun movie posters from the 20-60s, which adds personality. We stayed in Room 301, and it was roomy (about 300 sq ft). The room had a chaise lounge with an ottoman, plus a desk and chair. The bathroom layout is a bit old-school, with the sink just outside the bathroom area inside the bedroom, but it worked fine. There's a small step up (around 1 1/2 inches), and the tub/shower and toilet were comfortable and clean. The shower had plenty of hot water. The bed was a highlight--pillow-top comfort with very soft sheets and comforters. The king pillows were large, soft, and easy to adjust (even though I usually prefer smaller ones, these were great). Overall, the room and property felt quiet. It seemed like most guests were in by around 9:00, and we had a peaceful, restful night's sleep. Also worth noting: there are four EV chargers in the rear parking lot for electric vehicle owners. The restaurant looked amazing and smelled great, though we didn't dine this trip--we're planning to next time we fly into Santa Paula Airport. Finally, Monica, the manager, was wonderful--an absolute pleasure to talk with and genuinely kind. And a special thank-you for the complimentary morning coffee and muffins. Highly recommend for anyone who wants comfort, charm, and quiet peace.

We recently stayed at the Glen Tavern Inn and had a mixed experience…read more The highlight was the staff. At check-in, we realized our assigned room was near two very barky dogs, and the front desk was kind and accommodating in relocating us to another room. I think it was even a better room. I appreciated their willingness to help. Unfortunately, the room itself felt more worn than charming. The furniture had visible wear and staining, the ceiling showed patched areas and water stains that really needed a fresh coat of paint, and the overall impression was tired rather than historic. A few relatively simple updates would go a long way toward elevating the experience. The bathroom was tight, and it had a small step up that we kept forgetting about, despite the (small) warning sign. The provided toiletries were among the worst I've encountered at a hotel. I had forgotten my own shampoo and soap and planned to use what was provided, but it was SO bad. The tiny disc of soap did not lather. On the positive side, the property felt safe and the room was clean. The lobby had dark wood and a homey feel. But what could have felt like a charming historic inn instead came across as simply old and overdue for some attention. While I appreciated the friendly service, I wouldn't choose to stay here again until I knew they had made some upgrades. From what I hear, this is the nicest place in Santa Paula, so I guess we would stay in nearby Ojai at a similar price point.
