The first thing I noticed was the smell. The smell of the cooking meats mingle with the aroma of roasting vegetables in a way that makes your mouth happy it's next! I had the carne asada plate, rice and beans, tortilla, guacamole, rice and salad. It was like getting a plate of beef burnt ends, without the bbq sauce. Soft crispy-cornered pieces of deliciousness. They are cooking it fresh so preparation takes a minute but it's well worth the wait. Besides, the people were so nice and the food so good, I didn't mind the wait.

Best breakfast burritos in town. Ask for the hot hot sauce if you can handle it. Crack in a cup STG.

Amazing food, nice friendly people. The warm fresh made churros are a must! Portion sizes are big so come hungry.

I come here almost every day for lunch. I love this place! My favorite is the BBQ pork tacos and rice. Best Mexican food I've had in Oregon.

The best fish tacos ever! When I have the time and money, I make the four hour drive just to eat here, very good food.

Great place in a strip mall! Complimentary (first round) of guacamole & salsa (more of a taco sauce…read morewith pico de gallo sprinkled on top, super flavorful!) was very good. Chili relleno & cheese enchilada combo - both very tasty with green & red sauces (respectively) that were a tad salty (as mentioned in another review) but I really liked (I hate when I have to add salt). My husband had the al pastor burrito and enjoyed it very much. Yummy house margarita. We'll be back!

That aside the chips, salsa, beans, and guacamole given right away were tasty. I really appreciated the cups the water was served in. The walls were bright, vibrant, and busy, I liked it here for some reason more than other places. The lunch menu was on the back of the breakfast menu, and was simple, making ordering easy. My son was confused as he had picked an item from a different menu, that wasn't on this lunch menu and chose to pick something else. The service was good, the woman super kind, and attentive. It was quiet, and comfortable. Let's start with the chicken chimichanga! It was tasty! My son was impressed, loved the flavor, texture, and overall experience with the sides. It sparked some memories for him increasing the positive experience. His comparison to previous experiences eating chimichangas was in favor of Guacamole Bowl. The Mole Shredded Beef Enchiladas were really tasty. My only criticism is that the mole was more sweet, and thus less of a bold flavor. The sweetness really changed the dynamic of flavor that you usually get with Mexican food.

We were seated in a booth and promptly welcomed with complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were warm, and the beans served alongside them were as well. Shortly after being seated, our server greeted us and informed us of the Friday evening drink specials. To start, we ordered a couple of house margaritas and the grilled octopus, both of which were excellent. The menu offers a wide variety of options, so we asked for a recommendation. Our server suggested the Molcajete Mexicano, which turned out to be a standout dish--rich in flavor and generously portioned (photo attached for reference). Overall, the pricing was reasonable for dining out, and the service was attentive and efficient. We arrived with modest expectations but were thoroughly impressed by both the food and the service. We look forward to returning to try more items on the menu.

A nice waitress came by soon after and delivered water, chips, salsa and refried beans with veggies slaw. I took advantage of happy hours and order a couple small plates. Hard shell beef tacos and coconut shrimp. Both were excellent. I will definitely come back to try more of their extensive menu.

Went in about 9:35pm or so, staff was great but disappointed that they were out so many things…read more It doesn't make sense to me why be open if so many items are not available. An open sign shouldn't be on if a restaurant refuses to make things that they have the ingredients for just because they close in an hour. They were out of: - cheese (both shredded and queso) - pico de gallo - guacamole - fajitas - brown rice I drove 25 minutes to get here as it was the closest place with healthy options open. I started to make a bowl but the only things in my bowl after seeing what they were out of were white rice, chicken, sour cream, and lettuce so I just told them I was fine and didn't want my bowl anymore as it didn't look very appetizing. I've noticed this is a common problem with chipotles after 8:30pm. They won't make anything when closing time is only an 1 and a half away - and once they run out they just say sorry and expect you to eat rice beans and meat with no toppings. Probably won't go here late night anymore. Instead I'll just go to Los Dos Agaves up the street, since they have a pretty good steak salad. Which is too bad because normally I would go for chipotle since they have non-GMO ingredients. Just to be clear, the staff was great and the employees seemed to empathize with my frustration. I assume they are just following directions, and probably instructed by management to not prep foods after a certain time. They were very nice, attentive, and good vibes - so shout out to them! :)

Great portion sizes, nice people, the manager is truly a delight to be served by. Well done Canby…read morechip.
