For the price on some of the items I'm not sure if it's worth the portions of meat. They give you plenty of rice and noodles. The food is not greasy which is a great thing. I was actually excited to try this place. I took my kids and they could not chew the steak. Steak quality was poor and chewy. Both the kids plate and the adult bowl the meat was tough. Chewy and lacked flavor. I got the half and half bowl. The noodles were a bit dry. Staff was polite but food was not great. I had high hopes El Chingon but sorry we won't be back. While waiting, I noticed a couple dining in who didn't finish their food -- it looked like they only ate the protein and left the rest. That caught my attention. When I got home and opened my order (tofu and beef with noodles and vegetables)I could immediately tell there was too much seasoning. The amount of seasoning was overwhelming -- it covered up the natural taste of the tofu and beef. The noodles were the same. I only ended up eating the tofu and beef and left the noodles and vegetables. If you're eating and drinking soda, this might work. But I was hoping for something on the healthier side. Not sure why this place only has four stars, definitely a five star experience for myself. I ordered a child's portion - Steak, Fried Rice and Noodles plus I got one of each sauce offered to test them all out. Also got potstickers (dumplings). Let's start with the sauces - Ginger Sauce A++ you could put it on a shoe and I'd still eat it! The Yum Sauce B+ but keep in mind it's never my favorite so still a good option if you like that style sauce. Teriyaki Sauce A it's a good typical sauce. I did not try anything spicy. Now on to the meal - the steak was a bit done but still very good, I would've liked it just a bit more undercooked - I'm not saying mooing but just a tad quicker off the grill. The rice and noodles were good, again not mind blowing but very yummy and better than Panda or any other fast food of this type. I'd go back and try more and actually I can't wait to go back to try more. This was a DoorDash order but I have seen the location (it's next to where I get pedicures done).
