Instead of grilled shrimp, it was in a heavy ketchup-mayo style cream sauce, this is more like camarones a la crema. On top of that, the shrimp was extremely overcooked. Completely overpriced at $22. The owner came to steal a chair we had saved for a friend that was just about to walk through the door, instead of doing his job and asking if we needed anything. If you were coming here to celebrate a special occasion, you will love this place. If you are coming here to have a quality time dinner and enjoy interacting and conversing with each other do not come here. The parking lot was extremely packed and difficult to find parking since it is part of the strip mall. The ambience is party party party! I don't even know where to begin. Our server was very nice. They use technology well in this restaurant, every server has an electronic device to take orders, they all have earpieces to communicate, they even have robots helping to deliver the food to some tables. There was a DJ and it was pretty chaotic, some songs would come on and you would just start to get your jam and it would change about 20 seconds into it to a brand new song that was not even related. If you are there for a private party, you dictate the music and everyone else at the restaurant is at your mercy. There is a private space upstairs that can be rented and it has its own TV and lots of seating. They have an experience you can purchase for $120 and several team members will dance a bull balancing tequila on its back to your table while music is shaken down the building. Seven people ordered the bull while we were having our dinner. The first time they did the dance it was fun and exciting, they do spill about half the tequila dancing their way to your table and they have sparklers burning so there is heavy smoke as well and after about the third time it really lost its dazzle. The staff is constantly being pulled away from their tables to be part of this party, and our food arrived cold. Several people at our table were served, and others were not, and it was just very inconsistent and scattered. The portions are extremely oversized and I know that's part of what they're trying to do here, but their service is slow, the food came cold, meats were cold, cheese not melted, and the serving itself being so large they actually make you wait till there's room at your table to bring you a dish. So if you have a dish that ended up on some freakishly large plate, you would not get served until the majority of your table was done eating because they literally have nowhere to put their oversized Portion. Since everything was so huge, it was very easy to share so we all gotta try a lot of items. I had one of the ribeye tacos and it had like a pickled vegetable on it and I absolutely loved that! The black beans were extremely delicious and very well seasoned. They do have a good variety of Agua frescas so I did choose that over a Coke product and had a giant agua de piña for only six dollars. Really good food, however customer service could use some work. Me and my partner were the only two people on the building and the whole team was more focused on cleaning than serving us. I understand the need to pre close, however we came 3 hours before closing. We had to wave our server down more than once to get water, the check, and a box. This was the worst experience ever. My husband and I went there this afternoon for the first time after seeing all their advertising on TikTok. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience and there were quite a few issues. We asked for fresh chips since they were a bit stale and were told we couldn't get fresh ones. I was then served my food (camaron al mojo de ajo) and waited over 10 minutes for my husband's plate (carne asada y camarones). My food was cold since we waited to eat together. We requested more salsa more than 3 times before we finally received any. We only received 1 order of tortillas with our order when we should've received 2 orders, we asked for our other order and never received it. The decorations the service the food all was perfect! If small changes wanted to be made to the food you would order they were more than happy to help! The overall experience was disappointing. The food was absolutely disgusting and arrived cold. The servers were unfamiliar with the menu and couldn't answer basic questions about the dishes. They also seemed confused most of the time, which may have been due to the loud music being blasted every couple of minutes or the earpieces they were wearing, making it hard for them to hear us. While I appreciate the idea of celebrating guests, it felt excessive as every other table seemed to have a birthday. The sudden volume increase from the music was disruptive and annoying. On top of that, the seating arrangements were uncomfortable . I couldn't even sit upright without nearly being on a strangers personal space.
