And the last irritant...the music sound level. I wanted to ask Johana to turn it down, but just put it off. We were told at 10:00 Casa Lola becomes a night club...fine, but at 4:00 on a Sunday. As usual our group shared plates so we got a good sample of each. The crickets we found out after the meal are super salty because they are ment as bar snack with plenty of cerveza. Since none us were drinking the crickets became the garnish for our enchiladas adding a nice salty and lime accent to the delicious Oaxaca food. Our server was friendly and helpful, the food was prepared quickly. Definitely want to get back there to try some of the other unusual dishes. I should mention the portions are huge.
