Back for another great dinner while visiting our son in Phoenix. Sticky buns, great service (thanks Alan) and good food... fish, steak and braised beef. The patio vibe and evening weather was perfect. We will be back again.

A beautiful historic venue to dine or stay. We visited the restaurant, which was cozy with candles and Christmas decorations in December. The service was a little slow given the fact that they weren't that busy indoors (most people wanted to sit on the patio despite being chilly out because it's pretty.) Other than that, we had a very nice meal! Everything tasted great, including a specialty cocktail and warm, homemade sticky buns.

We came here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and what an amazing place!! This upscale fine dining was amazing. The ambiance was romantic, beautiful scenery and sophisticated. Service was superb. There were six of us and we had two servers attending to us. Wow!!! Cocktails and wine was delicious. Apps and entrees were Devine. I definitely want to come back. When my best friend come down to visit me I'm definitely going to bring them here.

I had another work dinner at this location. After the chicken pot pie disappointment last time I went with a salad. I'm not sure how you can mess up a salad but it was not good. The chicken was overcooked. Other than that it was piles of ingredients and not much dressing. It's such a beautiful venue. And the sticky rolls and the shrimp with butter and bread are great. But not loving anything else. The servers are very attentive, constantly refilling water and offering to get more drinks. But I'm just not sold on the food. Or I am not ordering well each time.

Tried the place out this weekend and it was ok . The service was extremely slow in my opinion. The food presentation was really nice and I really enjoyed my Benedict

I don't have great pictures as we were with friends last night. The ambiance here is just gorgeous and that is what I wanted my friends to experience as they are visiting for just a few days. They do have a wonderful bar so we had pre dinner cocktails then moved to our patio table. Service from Vicki was efficient and friendly. I ordered the vegetable cassoulet, two people had the legendary fried lobster and my husband had the pork chop. Everything was fantastic. It's expensive. Portions are large and I couldn't even eat 1/3 of the cassoulet so it will be lunch for us tomorrow. Bill for 4 was around $500. Definitely a special place to take your out of towners to experience 'Arizona'

Eggs Benedict-with smoked salmon and traditional. Very good

Let me begin by saying that the place is absolutely gorgeous! I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere! The service was spot on. Our waitress was phenomenal. Her name was Jennifer and she was very attentive without being intrusive. Now let's talk about the food. I had the shrimp cocktail and they were pretty good. I had to put a little bit of salt on there because it felt like the shrimp needed a little bit of flavor. But they were good. The sticky buns that come with every meal were outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed that. I ordered the eggs Benedict, but I did ask for one of them to use salmon instead of Canadian bacon. I enjoy the traditional eggs Benedict very much. The salmon one was very good as well, but I'm just a eggs Benedict snob and I just prefer the traditional eggs Benedict. However, it was very good. The salmon Benedict that is. What I did not like were the breakfast potatoes. I'm just not a fan of fried potatoes for breakfast. I prefer sautéed potatoes with onions and garlic and bell peppers. But just dicing up some potatoes and frying them doesn't really impress me too much. My spicy margarita was not spicy at all. Luckily Jennifer, our waitress took it back and they we made it. It still wasn't spicy, but I didn't want to return it for a second time. It was tasty, but it was not a spicy margarita. When I have a spicy margarita, I want to fill that tickle in my throat from the spice of the jalapeños or Serrano peppers or whatever you need to put in there to make it spicy. Sometimes just muddling jalapeños in there doesn't really make it spicy. There is an art to making a spicy margarita and let's just say that wasn't their jam. Would I go back? Yes I definitely would go back. It's a beautiful place and well worth the money.

El Chorro truly is the full package. Beautiful views, delicious food, and a unique venue. The venue is nearly 100 years old. Nestled at the base between camelback and mummy mountain, the views are spectacular. Let me start off by saying the sticky bun thing is a nice touch. The warm and gooey sticky buns pre meal got everyone's juices flowing. The shrimp appetizer with bread was incredible. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. I ordered the short rib with polenta and squash which was home run. When I come back I will order that again.

Jackson was our server and was very sweet and kind. The avocado bruschetta was very refreshing. The beef stroganoff was the best I have ever had. The seasonal risotto with vegetables was good but the beef stroganoff was the top winner tonight.

We had a nice dinner at El Chorro, we ate inside but noticed the outdoor tables had coolers so we may try that next time. Our server was excellent, food was made with care and tasted amazing. The macaroni and cheese side is to die for and a must try.

Went on New Year's Eve to celebrate my husband's birthday. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable! Our waitress was both friendly and attentive. We chose to sit outside, it was very comfortable. It had been almost 10 years since our last dining experience and we found it to be just as amazing as the last!

Beautiful restaurant in a historic building in Paradise Valley! The rich history and the ambience are definitely selling points for this beautiful restaurant. Came here for brunch with friends and we couldn't have had a better time. Food and service were on point! They offer a delicious brunch selection each Sunday. The sticky buns are 100% worth the hype btw! I opted for the porridge waffle with fresh fruit and it certainly didn't dissapoint- beautiful presentation of all of our meals. A wonderful spot for a celebration!

If you haven't been there, then you definitely need to pay it a visit. However, for a wedding venue, it was a bit odd. Maybe this was the fault of the coordinator? First the good things! The customer service really was great! The staff managing the bar area were super friendly and great to talk to at every visit! The food served was delicious, no complaints at all! The decor and aesthetics were wonderful for the venue and the Arizona area. The area in the main part of the venue, were the ceremony took place was lovely and shaded. There was a fountain and surrounded by lovely trees and structures. As with all venues, hosting a wedding with a cash or cash-less bar, this venue fell into the same issue. The alcohol not in bottles or cans just had to be watered down. There is no possible way our friends and myself had as many vodka mixed drinks, we are talking about over 10 or 11 at least for myself, and never even got a buzz. This seemed to be the consensus. The other issue was just the layout. The covered area / enclosed structure where the dinner took place was large and spacious. It was decorated with plants and man made areas that were lovely and it kept everyone together, socializing, and simply having fun. When that was done we were moved to an area behind the bar/sitting structure for live DJ and dance floor. This was simply counter productive to encouraging that togetherness and partying. instead it had various separate and distinct fire pits with covered areas and seating around each one. This pretty much cause the wedding party to all separate into their own clicks and neither one really interacting unless you were directly related/known to them some how. The dance floor was a raised gazebo area, which was lovely. However, from where some of the fire pits were, you had no view of who was dancing or if anyone was dancing. The DJ played a great playlist but she could have been definitely more interactive.

The host and serving staff were all very helpful and considerate. Being 6:30 PM on a Friday evening, we didn't know if we should expect it to be very busy or quite empty (as it was summertime). It turned out to be moderately busy, and we found a self-parking spot right away in the parking lot. There were more open spots when we arrived than when we left. There are valet options in addition to the self-parking though (but we didn't need them). We met one of the servers and asked for recommendations as we were craving a bruschetta board (four toasts each cut into four pieces) along with a grilled cheese with tomato soup. We knew three of the four bruschetta options we were going to choose but struggled choosing the last one, so the server offered to bring us the one we don't choose to try. We also didn't want bacon on the grilled cheese and asked about a meat substitute. While there was a charge for any additional substitute, we just decided we didn't need the meat in the first place with the bruschetta coming, too. The food was all delicious as usual and arrived rather quickly. We don't know how this location's food and service could be any better! The area behind the trash was covered in food and buffalo sauce, the bathroom vents were covered in dust (I'm allergic to dust), some of the towels had stains, kitchen counters had not been cleaned, the couch looks absolutely raggedy and like it hadn't been cleaned, there is a lazy boy in the bedroom that needs to be thrown away asap, and the pictures online did not match the house. They sent house cleaning back over on Monday. We noticed shortly after they left the toilet in the hallway bathroom was filthy on the sides under the bowl. However, we decided to get in the hottub since housekeeping told me the water was changed and the hot tub was cleaned. There was SO MUCH chlorine in it we started itching and I thought I was going to pass out. I reached out about this and received a generic response with no follow up. This was on Tuesday. On Wednesday we noticed bugs coming in through the drains in the hallway bathroom. We tried to rinse them down the drain and the water wouldn't drain out of the tub. On Friday we were hanging out in the backyard about start tanning then the pool technician just barges in from the gate to the backyard. He was very nice and kept apologizing but the problem is that NO ONE TOLD US HE WAS COMING! What if I was outside alone in my swim suit?! They were preparing the pool for the next guests, while the pool didn't look half as good Then we advised them we were checking out at 11am on Saturday. They shut down the internet after 12am so we couldn't log out of our apps, watch the news for travel updates, etc. This was supposed to be a private romantic vacation for my birthday and it was terrible. The Bella Palazzo ought to be ashamed of themselves for everything we've ensured during this stay. Honorable mentions: The chairs at the kitchen table are taped together with white tape. There is a picture of the property hanging up in the master closet that also doesn't match the property. Can't use the garage because apparently the previous guests took the remote and the property manager didn't seem bothered at all when housekeeping called about it. She was more interested in getting her house cleaned. The patio furniture was stained and it's a covered patio! Also, the pool umbrella doesn't work and is visibly broken It takes a long time for the water to heat up to take a shower.

They sent a maintenance person the next morning and she told us not to use it. So we were basically down to one bathroom. Then that night the other shower backed up... this time there was raw sewage coming up the other shower and 3 of us ended up having to wash our hair in the sink!!!! then the sink backed up. The smell was horrible! My sister and I ended up pretty sick from being exposed to the raw sewage. That is main the gist, but bottom line after being promised a full refund for such a terrible experience Margie is now going back on her word and telling us she never said that even though we have text messages with proof that they planned to refund us. I would not recommend booking your vacation rental through this company.

When we arrived, it was a bit confusing, as there wasn't really any signage or staff who were willing to assist in directing us to the the place - the hostess at the elements restaurant was snippy and was just rude for no reason! The setup at jade bar was fine; sitting by the windows is your best bet to get a nicer view; however, there was a wedding that was taking place outside, so we couldn't access to have the option to do an al fresco experience. There was no hostess, and the waitstaff seemed to be limited; we didn't know this was just a 'walk-in and grab a seat at any table' type of a setup - We ordered: +the Truffle Tots - did not expect what this dish was; the romesco sauce was just not good +a California maki roll - the imitation crab meat had an off taste to them, and it wasn't tightly rolled so everything fell apart +and, the Chicken Wings - this was covered in some type of a sticky/hoisin type of a sauce; the chicken was NOT cooked through, and we thought we were going to get sick We ordered the Blueberry Dreams (prepared with buffalo trace bourbon, lillet rouge, blueberry lemon, honey, and ginger) and the Spicy Margarita (prepared with deleon blanco tequila, cucumber, jalapeno, and lime) - both were made very strong and were aesthetically pleasing. The seating area and the chairs could have been wiped down and cleaned better; we noticed stains on the furniture. We weren't checked-in often throughout our experience; we would have liked refills, ordered additional drinks, etc., but it wasn't hapepning. You can pop out through the doors at the back of elements for a better view of the mountains, if you wish. We're glad to try this place out, but not worth going out of your way for it. +underwhelming HH options +inattentive/rude staff +located at the Sanctuary
