My aunts birthday cake from Zuzu.
Tony D.

Just an amazing restaurant in the cutest 1950s style Hotel Ho in Scottsdale, Zuzu lived up to all the hype I heard. Beautiful setting with a very attentive waiter and wait staff. Also, while we were eating, we were entertained by a wonderful young woman who sang and played guitar, which we loved. I really loved my meal, the Zuzu Smashburger with 2 slabs of bacon! Delisioso! As it was my aunts 83rd birthday, they brought out the most marvelous Twinkie cake with white buttercream frosting, that was decorated with 2 chocolate iced cookies, 2 small hostess cupcakes as well as other little retro things. The candle once lit, shot up a foot! Looking forward to going back!

This is literally one of the best burgers I've ever had. Our server Oscar was great, and super good clean cute atmosphere. Also the Bloody Marys are FIREEEEE

Zuzu's is located in the lobby of Valley Ho, a mid-century modern hotel in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona, built in the mid-50s, that harkens back to its origin days. Yet, Zuzu's combines modern with that early 60s aesthetic. Korean bao buns with mimosas around the pool? Yes please. A short walk to the main drag in Scottsdale, Zuzu's, and Valley Ho, check all the right boxes.

10000/10 Zuzu is the hotel bar/ restaurant at the Hotel Valley Ho. We were guests at the hotel and ended up at Zuzu every night haha. I travel a lot and I'm a huge foodie. I have a rule where I refuse to eat at the same place twice bc there are so many good restaurants in Scottsdale. But Zuzu is THAT good. The first night we splurged and got the $65 truffle pasta and it was quite the experience! The next night we were tired and did plan on going somewhere, but we just got salads and apps and it was great. The service is spot on every time. I love Scottsdale and can't wait to return. I'll def be staying at Valley Ho again and dining at Zuzu!

Chilean Sea Bass

Delicious Chilean Sea Bass serve here! I was stunned when I received my dinner (after having the worst cocktail the dark side) that fish just melted in your month like butter. It was cooked perfectly!! Overall our party of 14 agreed that their cocktail drinks were weak / diluted and on the sweet side. I would stick with beer or wine. The food was good! We will be back to try more items. One thing to mention if you have a large party please check your bill. They charged us an extra entree and we had to call them out.

Have been coming to ZuZu's (and Hotel Valley Ho) for years and it's one of our favorite meals in Scottsdale! We've had some mixed customer service experience, but overall, we really enjoy our meals here and will continue to come back! Having had breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and cocktails here, I can confidently say that it's a great spot! The vibe here is mid-century meets modern and really well done. If the weather is nice, I'd suggest sitting on the patio. The restaurant can get a little loud, so keep that in mind if you're coming here for a first or second date (or business meal).

Stayed at Hotel Valley Ho on a quick memorial day trip. It's conveniently located near the lobby and pool. I wish I got to try more but I enjoyed their fried chicken sandwich the most and I didn't get to grab a drink. Their service is good but can get busy depending on the time of day. I've had lunch & dinner here, it doesn't miss honestly. The ambiance is super cute and I would come here for a date too.

Fabulous cocktails and friendly service. Ample bar seating or indoor/ restaurant seating. Didn't dine here but did have the empanadas... which tells me the food much better pretty good here. Would recommend for cocktails and great service!

It has been too long since we have dined here but I am happy to report that it is just as wonderful. The food is consistently delicious and the menu is always changing. It keeps it fresh and exciting. Tonight we had the empanadas and they were great. Shared a pasta dish and the burger. The mai tai is a must have and this time they had a fun brookie for dessert. Omg. Yes please! The service was excellent and the atmosphere is gorgeous. Yes. I will be back again and again. Highly recommend.

What we got : Hazy ipa Brussel Sprouts Calamari This place is such a hidden gem. I wish it wasn't in a hotel where I would come here more often. I've never had better brussels sprouts in my life in here they cover in some kind of kimchi sauce and they put bacon in it and it is so darn addicting. I just wish they would go a little bit easy on the sauce as towards the bottom, it just becomes a pool of sauce haha and the calamari was so fresh tasting and crunchy. It was everything I wanted in it. This place is such a good spot and their Caesar salad looked really good. Everybody kept ordering it. The food also comes in big portions which I love.

This was the choice for our Valentine's Day dinner. It's the hotel restaurant for the Hotel Valley Ho. Best burger Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ. Full stop. We ordered a bunch of other things too, so here's the full lineup from what I remember: - Some bourbon drink, p much an old fashioned. Maybe it was - Burger - Filet - Ribs - Brussel The burger was the absolute best thing I ate. I would 100% order it again and I'd order it over the other things I got. Adding one more thing: yeah the service was pretty dang slow. They were well staffed, but we saw our server basically twice total so we really couldn't order more or anything if we wanted to.

Emma N.

I always enjoy coming here, the food is spectacular!!! I enjoyed some late lunch and a drink here with a friend on a Sunday. It wasn't very busy, and there were a lot of places to sit indoors and out. I decided to try the avocado toast with an egg and it was good. I also decided to try one of their mocktails called the Thai One On and it was delicious! I liked it better than my avocado toast. My friend ordered the Bao Bun tacos (I think?) and said they were also delicious. Our server was attentive and the outdoor seating was near the pool, with lots of beautiful plants and greenery to admire.

We sat outside in the evening shade for a nice gathering. We shared the Cuban Caesar salad with romaine, manchego cheese, sliced pears, toasted pepitas, masa croutons, avocado, fried plantain chips and Aji amarillo Caesar. The salad was crisp, well dressed and delicious with the fried / curled plantain chips. The shrimp cerviche with fried plantains, blue corn tortilla chips, lime, cilantro and cucumber pico de gallo was ok but not remarkable. Our final selection was the Gaucho spiced skirt steak with chimichurri, and masa potato cakes. The steak was overcooked, not medium rare, bland taste and tough. The potato cake was tasteless. Overall, the ambience and service was good, however, the food lacks any hint of Cuban flare except for the fried plantains. When I think of Cuban food, I salivate for the unique taste profiles with a hint of sweetness from the fruits. At The canal Club, I found it non-existing. The name, setting, and environment is good but the kitchen needs to let in on the theme being Cuban.

When we arrived, it was a bit confusing, as there wasn't really any signage or staff who were willing to assist in directing us to the the place - the hostess at the elements restaurant was snippy and was just rude for no reason! The setup at jade bar was fine; sitting by the windows is your best bet to get a nicer view; however, there was a wedding that was taking place outside, so we couldn't access to have the option to do an al fresco experience. There was no hostess, and the waitstaff seemed to be limited; we didn't know this was just a 'walk-in and grab a seat at any table' type of a setup - We ordered: +the Truffle Tots - did not expect what this dish was; the romesco sauce was just not good +a California maki roll - the imitation crab meat had an off taste to them, and it wasn't tightly rolled so everything fell apart +and, the Chicken Wings - this was covered in some type of a sticky/hoisin type of a sauce; the chicken was NOT cooked through, and we thought we were going to get sick We ordered the Blueberry Dreams (prepared with buffalo trace bourbon, lillet rouge, blueberry lemon, honey, and ginger) and the Spicy Margarita (prepared with deleon blanco tequila, cucumber, jalapeno, and lime) - both were made very strong and were aesthetically pleasing. The seating area and the chairs could have been wiped down and cleaned better; we noticed stains on the furniture. We weren't checked-in often throughout our experience; we would have liked refills, ordered additional drinks, etc., but it wasn't hapepning. Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. There's literally something for everyone, and definitely check out the Frybread Lounge for some great Native American fusion cuisine Chee

Even though the exterior and bathroom areas of the W Hotel are under construction, the ambiance within the restaurant is beautiful and unaffected. I also appreciated their waiting area with seating and TVs so we could catch the very end of the World Cup game! The food and drinks were amazing. Honestly, probably need to get a new hostess cause everyone else was so nice and smiling and just a great vibe. Our server Kelly made up for how terrible the hostess was.
