Small Colombian spot serving delicious burgers, mostly for takeout but there is a small dine-in area. The service is fast, the food is fresh and the value is really unbeatable. It's also open late night. Food: I've ordered burgers from here twice and for less than 15$ you get a HUGE fully loaded burger with fresh ingredients, a variety of sauces and fries. The sauces here are crazy good, especially the garlic sauce (salsa de ajo), and they give you a lot. I literally save it to use with other dishes at home. Drink: They have great Colombian sodas available, as well as fresh juices that can be served with either water or milk. HIGHLY recommend the mango with milk.

Great place for a late night bite. I had the salchipapa and it was good. I wasn't crazy about the bacon on top but I did order the salchipapa with everything. Super quick service! Got our food within 5 mins of placing order at the counter. This dish is super filling and perfect for sharing! Lots of parking in front and side of building.

This is a hidden jewel. Amazing food and quick service. Got a ton of food for the money. Ordered the salchipapa. For something so simple it was awesome. Was enough food for 2 days. Huge local patrons.

Small little hidden gem! We were greeted with a smile and there was limited seating inside and outside. We tried the Hawaiian empanadas which had cheese ham and pineapples-very unique! The SALCHIPAPA was our favorite! The fries were crispy and fully loaded with toppings and sauces. The hotdog was HUGE and also fully loaded-they don't skimp over here. Now the EXTRAVAGANCE burger was a showstopper! This thing could feed whole family! We were appreciative of the gloves they give you to eat it. That thing was a monster!

I can not put into words how AMAZING this restaurant was. I had the Carne Frita and Passion Fruit Juice with milk which were to die for! The juice was so delicious and so extremely flavorful. The carne frita had so much flavor. I highly recommend both! My husband had the double meat burger and exclaimed it was incredible! Not to even mention it was as big as his face! We will for sure be going here again!

Service is OK...they changed the prices on the menu so you can't tell how much the platters are now.( They definitely should fix that) but the food is good pretty good. I like the skirt steak and the red sauce and the garlic bread is pretty yummy... I wish they had more of a selection of sides.

The De Carne Desmechada. Very good and unique.

Rare Ethnic Food 35 I have been to many Columbian and Venezuelan restaurant but never come across a Latin BBQ restaurant. In it own BBQ way, this is unique to experience it. You can fill your stomach under $10. We have three dishes here. The De Carne Desmechada (Ropa Veja), Patacon, and the Pincho De Pollo. The Patacon is traditional dish of Columbia, the Patacon here is top with grilled chicken, Pork rinds. I say it is just ok. The reason I am here is to try their The De Carne Desmechada. They use two fried tostones with one on top and the other at bottom for a sandwich. The infill is Ropa veja which cook very well to accommodate the Latin style sandwich. Very tasty. We also have the Pincho with chicken kabab. It think it can use better seasoning. Overall experience is good. I definitely come back to try some other item in the menu.

    Steak Patacon

This joint is spot on. I stopped by while in the area and ordered some empanadas and a steak patacon. I have to tell hou that the Patacon was finger liking good and it came in a great size. Enough for a big guy like me. I mention this because I've ordered Patacon from others places and, they weren't as BIG. Very affordable prices and its made after you order. It also brings a side order of fries. The Empanadas could be meattie inside and with a bit more flavor I noticed they also have a food truck outside and, I believe it is for overnight service or to extend their coverage. I'm not from the area and I'm just guessing on this. Anyhow, if this is your kind of food, give em a try.

Why 4 stars? Because this had to be updated. --- --- --- Well, I planned on starting a very long list of out of town reviews, but I just realized that I never came back to update El Chuzo. After checking them out on an episode of "Eden Eats" I had to give the burger a try that was featured on the show. This is the messiest, juiciest, tastiest thing between two slices of bread. I can't believe I ever gave El Chuzo a 3-star review... I think it's more accurately knocking on the doorstep of 5-stars. I routinely crave this burger... and when I say routinely, yes I would cut my right arm off for one to be delivered to my house right now.

I love chicharron Ok, with that out of the way, we can move on to the review. Honestly, I feel somewhat guilty every time I eat here. The food is so tasty, the portions so plentiful, and the prices so low, that I feel like I am getting away with something! It's a guilty pleasure, complete with chicharron! Also, the arepa here are truly the best in town! Crunchy, fresh, and tasty! Whether you come for lunch or for the late 2am meal, it's always incredibly reliably, friendly, and full of awesome. Pro-tip: ask for the bottle of garlic sauce behind the counter. You won't be disappointed! Many get their meal to go but we are always happy to sit on one of the stools, and see so many families come in to enjoy a feast! Oh yea, I love chicharron!

    Ropa Vieja Arepa
    Sofia D.

Why the 3 star score? I really liked the Ropa Vieja Arepa. It's a good size arepa. Definitely need 2 hands to hold. Nice & crisp filled with flavorful shredded beef. The problem is the 2 sauces that they provide in the seating area for your food. Hardly no flavor or heat. You have to have good sauce, I'm sorry. That would have definitely taken the food here to the next level. It's like watered down mayo. It also came with not so fresh lettuce on the side, and crappy tomato that was mushy when you bit into it. Also, I don't understand how I received cold hard fries when I was the first person to walk in at 4:00pm when they opened.

No fancy décor, no overdone plating--just honest, soul-warming food the way abuelita would make it. We ordered a few pupusas revueltas and they were thick, cheesy, and crispy at the edges--just how you want 'em. Each bite was loaded with flavor, and they didn't skimp on the fillings either (respectfully, some of y'all out there are serving tortillas with trust issues). The curtido came bagged up and packed with crunch and tang--exactly what you need to cut through that melted cheese goodness. Prices are humble, portions are generous, and while it may be a small spot, the flavors are huge. Whether you're a pupusa purist or just learning what curtido even is--this little cafeteria deserves a big spot on your food map. Bonus points: you'll leave full, happy, and maybe even planning your return trip before you've finished your last bite.

Our drinks tonight was white sangria which was prepared differently but was actually quite good. Our appetizer was a shrimp ceviche was was mouth watering delicious. Our main course was called a Tropicoqueta Tabla which was a piece of skirt steak and shrimp on top of avocado sauce. Finally a skirt steak cooked to perfection. Everything on this plate was worth repeating. Besides having a great DJ, the Latin Grill has mini shows which were entertaining. Since we arrived and to closing, they had a total of 6 shows. I preferred the star of the night to be the DJs which were doing an awesome job. The Latin Grill easily scores a 4.5 rating.

It was so loud that our party couldn't hear each other, and we could barely hear our server. Dining out should be enjoyable, not a struggle to have a conversation. Second, the service was extremely poor. The host refused to allow us to bring in my birthday balloons, claiming it wasn't allowed. Ironically, there was another party with a large balloon display visible throughout the restaurant. The inconsistency made no sense. Our server was difficult to find. Once the food was delivered, he essentially disappeared. I understand Saturdays are busy, but we were a large party and needed basic things like water refills and occasional check-ins. Instead, we were left waiting repeatedly. The biggest disappointment was the birthday celebration itself. We informed the staff multiple times that it was my birthday. We watched other tables receive recognition, yet nothing happened for us. When my cake finally arrived, it took over 10 minutes, and nobody brought plates or utensils. I eventually had to walk to the bar and get them myself. Overall, the restaurant feels disorganized, understaffed, and far too loud. Great food can only make up for so much. Unfortunately, my birthday experience was frustrating rather than memorable. I won't be returning, and neither will the nine guests who came with me. That's my honest experience.
