You can't leave the farmers market without making a stop at Booth 503! It's a hot Sunday so the…read morefirst thing I ordered is their freshly made coconut lemonade, I have to say it was so good I found myself ordering a 2nd one. With just the right amount of coconut and freshly squeezed lime it's the perfect drink to cool you off. I ordered the fried egg stuffed arepa, hmmmm very tasty! I then tried their beef empanada with their home made salsa. Best Colombian empanada I've ever had! The perfect crunch on the outside and mouth watering flavor on the inside. My husband ordered the mini bandeja paisa which includes rice, red beans, ground beef, fried pork belly, sausage, sweet plantain, a fried egg and a small arepa.... need I say more! It's a party of flavors in your mouth! I will come back to order their other menu items and two more coconut lemonades as mentioned in the Miami.com article, "you will never look twice at a regular lemonade again!" http://www.miami.com/things-to-do-in-miami/yellow-green-farmers-market-is-in-broward-but-its-totally-worth-the-drive-miami-188855/

The Yellow Green Farmers Market is a foodie paradise with lots of food to choose from. Today, we…read moretried Pasabocas de Colombia because the pictures we saw on their menu were just too good to pass on. As a starter we tried the Spinach empanada and the beef empanada. They were so fresh and steamy on the inside. If you're not familiar with Colombian empanadas, the batter is potato based and the filling has some chunks of potato in it. It is amazing! I've had a lot of different types of empanadas in my day and these are my absolute favorite! They are just so flavorful and the texture is so heavenly, it's a party in your mouth. The only problem is that as soon as I finish one, I immediately want another. They just go down so easily, I think it's because the batter is light and flaky compared to others. Ok, enough talk about the empanadas, I realize I'm starting to sound crazy... but I just love them so much! We also had a papa rellena, stuffed potato with a rice and ground beef filling. This also had a nice flaky crust and lots of flavor. As our main meal we had an egg stuffed arepa and a mini bandeja paisa. The egg stuffed arepa was good but the bandeja paisa was even better. It's a bowl with rice, saucy red beans, a small arepa, sausage, chicharrón, beef, a sweet plantain slice and why not? A beautiful fried egg on top! phew! I know it's a mouthful. It's comfort food in a perfect package. Honestly, I tasted only about half of the meats because my hubby scarfed it down way too fast. But I sopped up the saucy rice and beans with the arepa and was a happy camper. Lastly, I drank a coconut lemonade which was so refreshing that I even got another one to go. I will absolutely be making this one of my new go to places!

We ordered beef sliders and appetizer sampler, as we watched them prep the bar. Sliders were good. Tasty, hot and lots of flavor. The sampler had everything (obviously) and we liked the queso frito, chicharon and both plantain choices. The sausage and wings were just okay. Our server Genesys was friendly and helpful. The food did not come out fast, but was worth the wait. Cute decor and they also had entertainment starting later in the evening.

First of all, my girlfriends and I bought 4 tickets to see the show. No one was checking tickets at the door so we could have come without tickets at all. We felt like we were scammed from the get go. Second, service was just abysmal. It took almost 30 minutes just for the server to come see us. Then the bottle of wine we ordered ($50 for a bottle of Josh) took another 20 minutes to get there. No water. The food was almost inedible. I'm not a person who EVER sends things back but this time I did because the mofongo was so dry I couldn't even swallow it. And the burlesque show.... I will say there was a few cool moments but some parts felt very... lacking in taste. Definitely not worth the ticket and meal prices. For sure will not be coming back here.
