110% Homemade, as in from scratch. Delicious and perfect portions. Super friendly staff. They pour a fabulous fresh margarita even if a bit expensive, worth it! There are a new restaurant so they're still working on their ambience. Keep spending your money there so they can invest more in the restaurant. This place needs to stay around!

Chicken enchiladas, and a side of salsa en Molcajete w/ totopos.

This place is so fresh and is an incredible authentic Mexican place! No Frills just great people and amazing food! They bring the heat with the fresh red salsa! So good!

Finally! Real Mexican food in Vermont! This is southern Mexican food so it may be a little different for you, but it's authentic and delicious. It was different and not everyone knew what everything was on the menu but everything we tasted was delicious. The green enchiladas appeared to be red and my cheese enchiladas appeared to be chicken, but they were indeed made with green chilies and my cheese was just extra stringy it looked like shredded chicken. Service was very kind. The place is plain with absolutely no decor or pretension. I'm sorry, but this place blows Casa Grande/Real away. The spices and the tortillas and crispiness of the taquitos and the guac and the RICE! OMG the rice was perfect. It made me so happy. Enjoy

Roommate said it was good so I was curious about the menu and I found it and I'm sharing a picture of the menu. My roommate was very ecstatic he just wish they had had sour cream. I asked if he asked for Crema and he said they didn't have it. I haven't eaten there. it is getting good reviews.

Best Mexican food I've had on the east coast of the USA I swear to god!! Server and staff were super nice and friendly and food came out quick. Loved the music and vibes inside. Will be coming back to devour the whole menu

The restaurant was so good that I went back again this week. I was not disappointed, I had the enchiladas and they were delicious too. If you go around 4:30 you won't have any trouble getting a table. But around dinner time the word is getting out about this place.

The first impression is underwhelming, but stay! The service is friendly and accommodating. The Oaxacan food is authentic and very tasty! You'll try some things you probably haven't before! Well worth your time and money!

Carne asada tacos so so good, cilantro, onion, lime and salsa. The perfect taco

They take no shortcuts here, and make their scratch sauces and condiments in-house. I had the huevos rancheros 'Christmas' style, with both green tomatillo and red chipotle sauce. YUM. They really should bottle that stuff! Hubs ordered the blackstone benedict, featuring their poblano cream sauce. Absolutely outstanding! Even the classic muffin, egg, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich was tasty. They also serve great coffee, freshly roasted just down the block at their sister shop, Nest. We appreciated the free refills while dining in too! This is a special spot for people who enjoy good flavorful food. Don't miss it.

To help, I decided to get my own syrup. Then I asked the cook for butter; he threw it into my hand, which triggered a reaction in a disabled veteran. I asked him if he meant to throw it, and he told me to go sit down, which I did not do. He said he would call the police, and I told him, "Call them." I asked for a refund since I had not touched the food. I was told no, and I recorded everything, including videos and pictures of the server and the man who threw the butter, who refused to refund my money. I contacted my bank about a fraudulent charge since I never touched the food. They are investigating and have access to the pictures and videos. Never again, and I recommend whoever is reading this not to spend their money, especially if you are brown.

It's a small spot with a classic mom-and-pop vibe, which we really enjoyed. We ordered the yam tacos and a chicken quesadilla. The service was friendly, though the food did take quite a while to come out. Once it did arrive, everything was very good and definitely hit the spot. Overall, we liked the food and would return. However, make sure to check your bill before leaving. We didn't notice until afterward that our total for tacos, a quesadilla, and two waters came to $44.02. My husband ordered his quesadilla plain and asked if the usual toppings (salsa, guacamole, and sour cream) came with it and could be put on the side. We were told they were included--but we were still charged extra for each topping, adding almost $5 to our bill. While the food and service were good and we'd go back, being charged extra for items that were supposed to come with the meal was disappointing. Just be sure to review your check closely so you don't end up with unnecessary upcharges.

My neighbors & I are woken by blaring contemporary music. I'm not a fan but let's be honest it's probably not considered the most banging music of all time. The car will be on its way soon & I can go back to sleep. Right? Nope! The music continues blaring, so I'm up now. I see a text from my neighbor. He's pretty unhappy and reports the music is coming from a food truck. One of the gentlemen in my building went outside to investigate where the music was coming from & discovered it's the El Gato Cantina food truck bumping his music from a sub. He says a guy working in the truck told him to eff-off. I guess contemporary music can be banging cuz it's certainly rocking my bedroom windows. And the people who vibe out to it aren't calm sweet souls. It's pouring rain, I get my dog suited up & we head outside for a morning wee. Upon walking outside I realize just how loud this sound system is & I decide to kindly ask them to turn down the music. Maybe a female will get a different response. I knock on the open front door. There's a man holding a broom. I ask "Can u plz turn that down, it's not even 9AM sir" This rude entitled jerk waves his hand at me as if I'm a gnat, and responds. " yeah yeah, get the F out of here." I respond with, "sir This is our neighborhood and you woke many of us up can u plz turn it down." I walked away. I have no desire to hang around to see what other profanity he's planning to throw my way. I waited a good 10 minutes or so and when the music kept blaring, I stood in front of his truck and called SAPD. He turned it down before the cruiser got there. But seriously? This is how your business treats our community? You expect us to want anything to do with your business? Honestly, stay in Burlington/Essex with that nonsense. Saint Albans at 7:30 AM on a Saturday morning is not the place for you. This business is not in it to serve our community. I highly recommend giving this food truck a pass.
