I got 3 asada with bean&rice my partner the quesabirria tacos and omg the tacos I got were delicious with plenty of meat and the size of the food is anything but small i wasn't a big fan of beans and rice but I am picky so that's just me lol. My partner loved his food as well plenty of seating Ac was amazing in this heat, clean and welcoming atmosphere. I sent my boyfriend in and was able to order on his own the guy speaks English and Spanish, the staff are very kind to everyone and horchata was nice as well not too sweet and not too thick either. I've come here a few times and been satisfied with my food. I normally order the super carne asada fries and the portion size is generous. The meat is cooked well and they put a lot of toppings on the fries. I tried their cabeza taco today and it tasted solid. I ordered food to go. The food was good and the horchata was really good. Before leaving, I asked the lady if everything was in the bag and she said yes, so I didn't check and took her word for it. I recently called in an order for two Asada Fries and a side of fries. Unfortunately, both Asada Fries were burnt. One of them was especially concerning, as the plastic plate it was served in had become inflamed. When I picked up a fry with melted cheese, I noticed the cheese had fused with the plastic, and a piece of the plastic actually came off, leaving a visible hole. This was clearly a food safety issue. I immediately contacted the restaurant to report the problem. The gentleman who answered the phone was polite and apologetic. He offered to remake the order, but I explained I was too far away to return at the time. I requested a refund instead, and he informed me that it could only be processed in person. I told him my husband would stop by the next day. However, I ended up going myself. I spoke with an older gentleman, who I assume is the owner. He was dismissive from the start and claimed he was unaware of the situation. When I referenced the phone call with the staff member, he stepped away--presumably to make a call--and left me waiting without saying anything. When he returned, he said he would "let it slide" this time, but insisted that I should have brought the food back. I explained I wasn't nearby when the issue happened and couldn't return immediately. He then showed me a sample plate and claimed it was normal for the container to look that way. I respectfully disagreed and expressed concern over the clear health risks of serving food on melted plastic. I mentioned that I have been a loyal customer for years and had never experienced anything like this before. Rather than respond with professionalism, he became defensive and began raising his voice. I calmly asked him to lower his tone and explained that I understood mistakes happen--I was simply looking for a reasonable resolution. He finally issued a refund, but it was not the full amount, and there was no apology given. His approach was unnecessarily rude and confrontational, especially in contrast to the respectful customer service I received over the phone. My husband also mentioned that the day he picked up the food, the restaurant appeared to be very busy with students from the school next door. It's possible the food was rushed or overheated, resulting in the damaged plate. Regardless, this was a serious safety concern that should have been handled with more care and professionalism. read more

Service was friendly and our order was taken swiftly and correctly. The amount of meat on our fries surpasses the typical amount and it was around $15 with taxes. The salsas aren't spicy but are still a great addition of flavor, which I prefer. My girlfriend and I split the fries and drink and even had leftovers so the portion for the price is fantastic even as broke college students. The agua de tamarindo was on the slightly sweeter side without being overwhelming, the flavor was not lost and there were an enjoyable amount of pulp. The vibe inside is your typical Mexican mom and pop shop so it's a familiar yet friendly atmosphere, the music isn't too loud and the parking lot was easy to get into. The food is so good here, I've visited this place since they first opened and their Carne Asada Fries are ON TOP!! The staff speak English and Spanish, attend you right away, and you don't wait more than 15-20 min for food. Busy hours are definitely after school because a lot of students stop by to eat, but you can also place phone orders and stop by to pick up. Usually mexican restaurants don't put much attention to the beans because they're like "it's just beans" just like a filler on food but these are actually flavorful I loved eating them with the chips that come with it. We had the asada quesadilla which I ordered since I saw the asada fries were highly recommended in this place and it said "popular" on Uber eats. I also ordered the chicken crispy tacos and they were actually taquitos which is fine it's almost the same thing, different presentation but I did want the folded tacos with lettuce and cheese inside, it's alright they were still flavorful. Lastly but very importantly.. their horchata is bomb! To us that was the cherry on top! My son looooves horchata and I hate when a place has delicious food but their horchata sucks lol This was not the case so thank you so much. Next time I want to order a caldo from there. I placed the order through Uber eats and they were out, my item got canceled and I didn't get a chance to even replace it. We decided to try this place a while ago and had good customer service and good food. After that, we decided to keep coming back and had more good experiences. Then last week we were craving tacos after a game and decided to head to this spot since we enjoyed the food. Some guy was sitting at one of the tables eating and watching TV. EVENTUALLY he gets up and gets behind the counter to take our order. We were surprised he worked there after walking in to see him behaving as if he didn't care that we were there, but also because he wasn't dressed appropriately for the job. Then he couldn't figure out how to work the register and the cook stops what she was doing and takes over while he goes back to his food and TV. Then she cooks the food afterward. We figured it was an odd one off thing and the tacos were good, so we brushed it off. Tonight, we decided we wanted to have some tacos again and saw they advertise a taco Tuesday deal. We went about 8:30pm and the music was so loud you could barely hear anything and no one was there. Finally that same guy from last time comes out from the back and said rudely "What do you want?". We could barely hear him because the music was so loud! We mentioned the taco Tuesday deal and he said they don't do it anymore. We mentioned how it was on the menu and he got more rude and repeated that they dont do it. We asked for lengua tacos and they said they don't sell lengua anymore. Then we asked for carnitas he said they don't have any. My fiance sighed because he was tired and this experience was getting frustrating and the guy starts getting really loud and angry and actually comes around the counter like he was going to attack us! When that happened another guy came from the back to start calming down the angry guy and tries to send him to the back to calm down. While he goes back there he starts yelling not to serve us! The new guy then takes our order and cooks our food. We go home to eat and the tacos are wrong.. Terrible, terrible experience. We will NOT be going back. read more
