Best value for the money, and damn good food too. If you don't speak at least a little Spanish you may have trouble ordering, and many things contain idiomatic expressions, but that's your loss. The service is slow at times, but well worth the wait and you'll get popcorn to munch on while you wait. Food is all prepared fresh come over they don't have a liquor license

Go for plantains and pour alittle of that tasty sauce placed on each table.

The atmosphere felt festive and welcoming, perfect for celebrating the holiday with my family. The buffet offered a great variety of options, including traditional Easter favorites like carved ham and lamb, prime rib along with a nice selection of sides, salads, and hot main dishes. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and the staff did an excellent job keeping the stations fully stocked throughout the evening. The food was delicious! One of the highlights was the dessert table, which had an impressive assortment of sweets--something for everyone to enjoy. My favorite was the chocolate peanut bombs! The presentation across the buffet was clean and inviting, making it easy to go back for seconds (or thirds!). The service was attentive. Our waitress made sure we had our drinks refilled. I will be going back for sure. Looking forward to what they will offer for Mother's day!

We were a group of approximately 50 ppl- Service was professional and very pleasant. This event was a buffet with Che's prime rib carving station. The entire event was well-orchestrated. Lots of issues here. I will start with the good:…read more The waitress was very nice as was the additional help. Now everything else: We ordered the cheese croquets. This might be just the taste, but nobody at our table liked them. Also - and this seems to be the specialty of the house - they were not particularly warm. We also ordered the nachos with the brisket chili. The plate was huge and the nachos were pretty good. Unfortunately, the chili was largely a rumor. Now for dinner. Oh boy. First the staff, including our waitress, brought us food for another table. We didn't realize it right away, because the other table ordered a couple of items we did. Then we did get our food. We had a couple of the brisket grilled cheeses. These were tasty, but again, with precious little meat in them, and not hot. We had a smash burger order - COLD. Two mushroom truffle burgers - also cold and one was severely undercooked. We were going to a show so we suffered with it. The fries were a hit by the way. I ordered the salt caramel gelato. I've had similar many times. This was overly salty. I was very excited to go here, but unfortunately, quality flew the coop at Birdsall.

If that's your thing, then 4+ stars! Will also give a big thumbs up to the decor -- loved what was on the walls and the floors looked like they'd recently been redone. Various dishes our group had included a breakfast sandwich with sausage; an omelette, which was probably the healthiest option of what folks got; a cheeseburger; someone else got a French dip kind of sandwich. French fries were fought over -- so also a thumbs up for them. Again, I was the outlier in our group and in other reviews so I do plan to return to give it another chance. Check out the menu and other reviews and maybe you'll give it four or more stars!

The restaurant was extremely busy and clearly understaffed -- there were only two servers working incredibly hard. Service was definitely slow, but I give them a lot of credit for doing their best under the circumstances. They were very gracious and even brought us a complimentary drink to apologize for the wait, which was a really nice touch. Despite the delays, the food was excellent. The nachos were great, the French dip and chicken sandwich were both very good, and honestly, the fries were some of the best I've ever had. We also tried their house-made beer, which was delicious. One thing to note is the layout of the restaurant. It's right next to (and partially within) the arcade, so it can get very loud with lots of kids running around and yelling. I can definitely see the appeal for parents -- being able to eat and have a drink while keeping an eye on their kids is a big plus. For those without kids or looking for a quieter, kid-free night, it's just something to be aware of. That said, I'd love to come back in the summer and sit on the outdoor deck along the water. Overall, a cool spot with great food.

Past three times I've been, they have been dry to the point of overcooked and hollow. But the burgers are good and other menu items are also tasty. Disappointing that they shut down early weekdays. Especially Wednesdays! lol. Dining area holds plenty of seating indoors and out. View of Hudson River is awesome! Staff are all good people! Bar outside is not too bad. Good social spot! Like I said. I like this place and will still visit. So solid two thumbs up.
