Absolutely love the mixed ceviche!! The lomo montado fido was fantastic, the chaufa de pollo was good but a bit dry. Definitely ask for extra salsa verde on the side! The portions are very generous. It was decent except when we went to the pool and they wanted to charge a ridiculous amount of money just to get a chair at the pool! This should be an amenity available to all guests of the hotel like it is at every other hotel I've stayed at. I guess if you go during any other season it's fine but not during summer! During a visit to this restaurant today was a different experience then prior visits. We ordered the Jalea and were giving a small tartar sauce for enough food to fed about 3-4 people. We asked our waiter if we could have an additional tartar sauce and when we received the bill noticed he charged us $2 without informing us there would be a charge for something that should of come with our meal. We spoke to the waiter so we could get a better understanding of why we were charged and he stated his manager said he must charge. It may sound petty to some but $130 for lunch for two and then have management penny pinch for something that should have been given with the meal makes you not want to return to this establishment. Your palate feels like it is being refreshed at every fork full. This restaurant needs to be included with Westchester's best restaurants. First time there and I don't see myself going back. Poor customer service. Upon arrival on a Sunday afternoon, my husband and walked in, waited to be sat. We ordered the ceviche de pescado to start and did not like, so we left it behind. Flavor was missing. We flagged down the waiter to get some salt to add but it didn't do it. We also ordered a whole chicken with three sides: salchipapas, tostones, rice and beans. This was delicious! We had to flag down staff for another green sauce. When we asked our waiter for a to-go container & the check, we mentioned that the we did not like the ceviche, flavor was off, so we did not eat and he got UPSET! Claiming we should have told him earlier but when? He never went to our table to check-in on us. No offer to refill up our drinks, etc. He brought over the check, he was very short with us and did not take out the ceviche. Again, we had to flag him down to ask him to remove the ceviche from our bill since we had told him we could not eat because we did not like. He went back to adjust bill and dropped it off at the table. We paid and walked out, staff just watched us, not saying a word. I have never felt so awkward. After a long day out and about, three of us came here on a recent rainy evening. We were hungry and Peruvian food sounded good to us! We have missed our favorite Pervuvian place in California! The menu items were not quite the same as the ones we have had so we tried to order things that sounded similar. My daughter and I shared a couple dishes: the Papa Andina a la Huancaina (fingerling potatoes with huancaina cheese sauce topped with hard boiled egg) and one of the "Chef's Specialties," Arroz Con Mariscos a la Huancaina, a rice and seafood dish that came topped with an orchid. My husband got the Half Chicken with two sides and we all shared an order of Sweet Plantains. We were happy with what we had! The dishes were flavorful and comforting. Food was ok. Their appetizer was a little cold when served. Main dish was very greasy and it tastes kind of like Chinese fried rice. What is the sneakiest thing is that they charge additional 3.5% surcharge if you use a credit card. It was completely unheard of. I asked to refund the credits card charge and use a debit card but they refused because their manager was not on duty. And they asked us to come back the next day but it was impossible, because we live live New York City. Called to make sure the place was open on a Saturday afternoon and asked if they were busy; the response, "we just opened, we are not busy". Came here anyway. We heard the sangria was good "most popular drink", "recommended by Westchester magazine"... says so right on their menu. Tried to order a pitcher of it, they said they ran out..?!? We were here on a Saturday at 1:30pm... and no sangria. I stuck to water. Appetizers were good. Entree was fried well and a huge portion that came with a variety of dipping sauces. So yummy! authentic peruvian restaurant gem and i'm very happy i discovered it on an outing with friends. it is very cozy environment and delicious succulent flavors. when i went there was plenty of seats available. we got steak and eggs with a special rice which was incredible i never had anything like that rice before. i got some shredded chicken in a hollandaise type of sauce with white rice and it was very beautiful. i will go here again if i'm ever in the area. it is definitely something you should try when you're out of nyc! 10/10 thank you for this meal and the generous hospitality!! love peruvian food especially this restaurant! read more

Excellent Peruvian food, I'd definitely make the drive just to eat here again. The seafood is really really fresh, it certainly shows in their Jalea and ceviche dishes. As you can see in the picture, the Jalea is basically a mountain sized portion of fried seafood. Try it with all the sauces, and ask for a side of their green sauce as well. They didn't have the beef heart anticucho, but they had the octopus version available. It was perfectly cooked and the flavor was on point. Usually its hard to cook octopus perfectly, but they succeeded deliciously. They didn't have a drink menu (or maybe they just forgot to bring me one?), but I ordered a chicha morada and passionfruit drink. They were both homemade and really refreshing. They really kept me going as I worked my way through the Jalea. This cozy place is a winner in this nice quiet town. The service was excellent, our waiter (I believe his name was Juan) was really excellent and attentive. Whether you're curious about Peruvian cuisine or are an avid fan, Aji Limo is a great restaurant to satisfy your cravings. read more

We ordered for Appetizers 2 Empanadas and an order of Papas a la huancaína. They were brought after our main dish 1 Order of Lomo Saltado and a Ceviche. Everything tasted good, but every item was Cold. The fries on the lomo saltado were less than room temperature. The rice was warm. the Empanadas were very cold inside, I told the waiter to reheat, and he brought them back same temperature. I made reservations ahead of time and requested a birthday dessert be brought out for my brother but they missed that 2nd part. I tried a passion fruit cilantro cocktail and the purple corn Peruvian drink. You get corn nuts as a free appetizer. This is pretty common in many Peruvian restaurants. There's street parking and metered parking outside. The interior is modern and clean. You enter the bar first and can access the restaurant/sit-down area in the back. I loved that they had a lot of fun cocktail options. Their menu is huge. I had the tres chalanes appetizer which was whipped Peruvian potatoes and aji topped with chicken, shrimp, and octopus marinated in the chefs famous house sauce. This was a cold dish that wasn't too heavy and was really interesting. We also tried the fried seafood platter. This was huge and could feed 4 people. It had mussels, fish, octopus, squid, shrimp and yuca. For dessert, I had churros with soursop ice cream. This tasted great.
