    Empanada de Yuca

The food was really good here. I do wish the empanadas were stuffed more and that the server was more attentive. We ordered some shakes and got two of the wrong ones, which we kept to be courteous. We'd finished our food and it took a bit to get our check and pay. The restaurant ambiance is cozy and I'd come again for the food. Service needs some improvement.

Delicious Dominican food always served hot and fresh. The flavors are authentic and taste home made. Love the mangu with 4 golpes and their Mofongo is delicious. The lemonade is also really good and made fresh. Stop by for a nice hot meal, the staff is very nice and welcoming. The restaurant also offers delivery.

Today I ordered delivery of the El Super Conuco breakfast and it was delicious. I added a side of avocado and thankfully they sent it whole.

I enjoy the Dominican breakfast here! It's also known For its Mofongo. I feel welcomed every time I dine in. My favorite dish is the 4 Golpes, but I also really enjoy the Super Conuco breakfast which is like Tres Golpes but includes crispy chicharrons! They make a delicious Pan con Queso cheese bread that is to die for when it's available. I also like their Bandeja al Conuco dinner when I want a big meal. I would like to try their Pernil special sometime. They have fresh cappuccino as well. I also order delivery and it is their own delivery drivers which I appreciate, and the food came fresh and hot!

El Conuco restaurante is very close to my house so whenever I am hungry and want Hispanic food I pay them a visit. I usually get small things like chicken soup or empanadas and I order to go.I've gotten their mofongo before which is also okay. The prices are reasonable and it's nice that they use paper bags which is great for the environment but if you do decide to eat in...they take forever to even give you the menu and even longer to take your order. I usually leave before they take my order because I get tired of waiting. I don't get why this happens because most of the food is prepared already. Today I got a chicken soup again and when I got home it had three big pieces of chicken bones wtf am I suppose to do with those bones I rather just get broth.

I was here for lunch and ordered the lemon grilled chicken, the traditional dominican dish and mamey. The chicken came with 2 side dishes and the traditional dish came with white rice and beans. The food was ok. I really liked the beans and the mamey drink. I thought it was expensive. I will be back for the mamey and the bean. Nothing else impressed me. Service was good.

Really great cappuccinos ($2.50). Fast service, very friendly. I ordered a breakfast platter, 4 Golpes, which has 2 over easy eggs, 2 pieces of salami, 2 sausages, big scoop of mangu with vinegar onions, and 1 fried cheese ($8 + $1 if it's after noon). I went on a Sunday afternoon, waited less than 5 minutes. In fact the food came so quick I thought it might be leftovers but I was wrong, fresh and fatty (in a good way). Great hangover cure. A few weeks ago, I had their cinnamon French toast, which was unexpectedly made with small crostini bread, but it was still yummy. That I had ordered at around 9pm on a weekday. (I'm a breakfast food nut). Wish the a/c was a bit cooler but I'm sure that's expensive for a small business to run on full blast.

Small plain portion of spaghetti. 6.95$ for 3oz of plain spaghetti. Manager would not change the price!!! Would never return here...

The service was attentive from the very beginning, and they immediately took care of us and made the entire experience feel personal and genuine. Once the food came out, every single dish was absolutely delicious. You can truly tell that Juana takes pride in what she does and prepares every meal with care and love for her customers. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, especially the mangu, Cuban sandwich and Rabo - which was amazing! And the desserts were absolutely outstanding -- we left & took home habichuela con dulce and she shared some of her special dessert with us to try and enjoy! My grandson took it lol. It's the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Her son was also so personable and kind, which made the experience even more memorable for my entire family. It's rare to find a place that combines amazing food with such heartfelt hospitality. We had an amazing time and will absolutely return whenever we're back in the New Jersey area. Thank you, Juana and son, for the incredible food, kindness, and unforgettable experience!

They're known for their incredible Rotisserie Chicken which I can confirm is in fact incredible. It's flavorful, juicy, deliciously roasted, and tender. The chicken skin was crispy and rich in flavor but literally the dark and white parts were equally tasty. Honestly probably some of the best Rotisserie chicken I've ever had. My favorite piece was the thigh, super juicy and delicious. The onions were sweet, crisp, and refreshing - I've never had this with a rotisserie chicken before but it's a game changer. They also serve it with their hot sauce which was both smoky and zesty. The sides I got are a non-negotiable, in my opinion. Both the Pigeon Pea Rice & Moro Rice were well-seasoned, fluffy, and went great with the Rotisserie chicken. The portion is also amazing for the price; it was easily 4 servings! The Maduros were extremely oily but I love the savory-sweet balance you get from them along with the chicken and rice. Super delicious! The Jupiña Pineapple Soda was a good try but could be skipped next time. Note: their menu has cash and credit card prices so you will be paying slightly more per item if you pay with card. All in all, it was an amazing meal that hit the spot and great value! Highly recommend.

Franklin, the owner, was very nice and steered me to some great choices. I got the beef and cheese and the beef chimichurri, both outstanding. I am saving my guava and cheese one for later but it also looks good. While the empanadas were delicious, the generous portions of sauce complemented quite nicely and kicked it up to another flavor level. The pink Siracha is creamy with a kick. The chimichurri sauce is very fresh with lots of garlic. You can pick up to three empanada and two sauce flavors for the meal. The store looks empty but if the door is open, walk in and someone will be out from the back. I had dogs in the car so i waited outside and Franklin was nice enough to bring the order out, as well as with my sunglasses which i had left on the counter. I will definitely be ordering from here many times to come.

Flavors were good - next time i'd probably go with just cheesesteak and chimi sauce. Other things were just okay, probably wouldn't try them again. Friendly service, I'd stop by again when the craving hits.
