Always plenty of parking I love coming here and getting bakery item, pastellio and a platter when I'm really hungry. I initially had issues when I would go and attempt to place an order. Most staff members didn't understand me or speak English. I would sometimes have people in line order my beef and cheese pastellio despite me reading from the sign in front of the dish and pointing to exactly what I wanted. I go so often that I think they recognize my face. I've even put my co-workers onto this place and we frequent it often, so often that it's in our rotation when we have big events and need catering. However, this week my co worker had a very negative encounter with one of the workers. My co worker is not Hispanic and goes often (at least once a week but often twice a week). She goes to order her usual of a chicken and cheese pastellio and the worker behind the counter tossed her hands up in frustration and got another worker to assist her. My co worker said the same thing she said to the 1st lady who said ok, and told the other lady in Spanish what was asked for before going back to do what she was doing. The lady put the pastellio in the bag and walked it to the register where she tossed it on the counter and once again tossed her arms up in frustration. This is very rude. We spend a lot of money in this establishment and although we do not speak the language, we try when ordering and we may not have the accents but you also understand what we are ordering. I too have had a similar encounter when I first started going where people would just look at me and get someone else to help. Only for me to hear them speaking broken English when they felt like it. Great food but customer service all depends on who wants to take your order if your not Spanish speaking. There are a few staff members who are very friendly and helpful.

My workplace ordered empanadas, I tried the chicken and ground beef. Not too greasy. A lot of fillings, nice crunch, very tasty

The food is sooooo good and the price is so reasonable. The food is fresh and the pastries are a little taste of home. We ordered and egg and cheese on sweet bread and it was so good and the perfect amount of everything. I will definitely be back. There's so many guayaba pastries and island drinks! The kola champagne and the fresh juices were so good.

Really delicious baked goods. I highly recommend their guava/coconut cake and their tembleque. The pan sobao is so fresh and tasty. Pastellios are really good too, with their cheesy and flavorful fillings.

Pineapple and cream cheese. Not sure what it's called, but definitely my favorite!

Food was good and portions were big. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no place to sit.

I stopped in and ended up chatting with one of the owners--he was so kind and clearly loves what he does. He walked me through the menu and pointed me to some favorites, which made the whole experience feel really personal. I got the Bori fries and the mofongo cups (one "chicken," one "beef"), and everything was incredible--rich, savory flavors, crispy plantains, perfectly cooked plant-based meats, and that mama sauce tying it all together. When I asked about desserts, he even gave me a cinnabon bun to try, and it was unreal--warm, soft, perfectly sweet. Already planning my next trip back. I can't wait to try more.

Nonetheless we ordered the alcapurria, mofongo cups with mojo mushroom and impossible beef, sancocho, and cinnamon buns. We were so hungry that we ate it in the car and forgot to take photos. My favorite is the mushroom mofongo. The sauce was truly the best part. Its definitely one of those foods that you have to eat right away because its not good reheated. All of the food was pretty good especially being vegan. I am not vegan but I enjoy good vegan food. The woman behind the counter was nice and made great suggestions. The place overall was a small and cute. Its definitely more of a take out spot. The decor was very culturally and lgbtq inclusive which I loved. Have to go back for the rice!

Staff was helpful and you can see they are passionate. I ordered the 2 pastelillos with 1 side. I chose the beef and cheese and the mofongo jawn that has the mofongo and pernil. My side was the pickled yucca. I have to be honest! I loved the sizes and filling of the pastelillos. They do not skimp here on the fillings. The dough is light and perfectly crisp. The Mofongos jawn was a bit dry to me and although the garlic seasoning was good it was just too overpowering. All I tasted was garlic and I love garlic but that was super garlicky. The beef and cheese was good but a bit on the salty side. The yucca was well seasoned and delicious. It was given cold as a salad I was looking for it to be warm, the traditional way. It was still Bomb! I heated it up and the spices and pickling are certainly on point. I'll be back try some vegan options and the arroz con gandules. You can feel the
