The fried fish was spectacular, lightly seasoned with salt and lime. We sat listening to the music coming from the street out of all the cars and motorcycles cruising the strip. We were starving and my father and I wanted to eat somewhere with a breeze and a view to the malecón. We ordered the mofongo con camarones and it was fresh and tasted amazing! They are very generous with the shrimp. If anyone is interested about going to Monkey Island, I went on a tour with "La Paseadora". The captain's name is Frank and he is very knowledgeable about the island, is an ex-Coast Guard captain and speaks English and Spanish fluently. He also does kayak, snorkel, dive and fish.
