Pescado con arepas y mojo de ajo

Food was ok, the fish the my husband ordered was overcooked, hard and dry. The lobster was way too much with seasoning , to me it was too salty. Service was ok. Ambience was ok although there were flies and mosquitoes around. It was ok

I went with my best friend and his partner to this restaurant and it was a good surprise. Although the salon was pretty hot the food was great. I ordered mofongo stuffed with octopus, a Piña Colada and spicy crab tostones and it was yummy yummy! A good afternoon enjoying the east coast of the Island. The only recommendation to this place is to consider the possibility to put A/C. The rising temperatures are real and it will improve the experience. Plenty of parking and close to the boardwalk.

Simply delicious! Portions are excellent. Octopus was tender and savory. The salmon was delicious and the mashed roots. Yummmmmm. Fully recommended.

As we drove into the strip of restaurants by the ocean, we saw Bobby's Place with its open air dining area crowded with people right across from the water. We drove up the strip and walked back towards Bobby's Place. The line was long, always a good sign. We got the fried fish, mofongo with shrimp, and an arepa with shrimp. The fried fish was spectacular, lightly seasoned with salt and lime. We sat listening to the music coming from the street out of all the cars and motorcycles cruising the strip. Quite the experience!

In PR, it is common to have these shacks next to the beaches, malecones, where you can grab something to eat and drink a beer. We arrived here, after going to Monkey Island. We were starving and my father and I wanted to eat somewhere with a breeze and a view to the malecón. We ordered the mofongo con camarones and it was fresh and tasted amazing! They are very generous with the shrimp. If anyone is interested about going to Monkey Island, I went on a tour with "La Paseadora". The captain's name is Frank and he is very knowledgeable about the island, is an ex-Coast Guard captain and speaks English and Spanish fluently. He also does kayak, snorkel, dive and fish. His numbers are: 787-850-7881, 787-316-0441. I went in April 2018, and although the area of Humacao is still messy due to Maria, the malecón area of Naguabo was perfectly fine and ready for tourism again!

Waterfront Cantina (Naguabo): Mexican Fare, Fresh Fish, Cheap Drinks ... What More Can You Ask For?…read more Waterfront Cantina is a small indoor and outdoor restaurant and bar across the street from the beach in Playa Naguabo with a reasonable Mexican and fish menu and drinks from $2.50-$6.00. Starters run from $5.95 to $13.95, dinners are $8.49 to $14.95, and drinks are $2.50 to $6.50. Cold beer, affordable prices, and friendly service make Waterfront Cantina a great place for a cool drink or a hot meal. We stopped in several times during our week in Punta Santiago for drinks and on our final night for the nightly SPECIAL ... Two entrees (one fish/one meat), two glasses of Sangria, and dessert for two, all for just $25. We ordered the beef fajitas for two, about 8 ounces of marinated skirt steak each with plenty of guacamole, shredded cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and tortillas for three decent size tacos. Everything was fresh and delicious although the garlic was a little excessive even for my taste. The sangria was good and dessert well done with a slice of cheesecake drizzled with chocolate sauce and topped with four small, crispy mini-churros. With a sea view, flat-screen TV (football on Sunday), and an owner who speaks English, it is a very tourist friendly option in an area where most locals have limited English speaking skills. Since it didn't have any meat in it, the waiter kindly added some guacamole to the side without charging me extra. For $9, it was a good-sized portion that included tortilla chips. However, I have definitely had better burritos elsewhere. It was more on the bland side as far as traditional Mexican food goes.
