Only giving 2 stars because the chicken pastellitos were not bad. We waited in the outside window line because the inside seating area was roped off with no sign on whether it was closed. After finally waiting 20 minutes to get to the front window line we asked about the seating and were told it was available so we went inside while one person in our groups ordered pastellitos at the window. We waited another 15 minutes inside without being given a menu. We flagged waiter to get a menu and waited another 10 minutes without anyone checking back on us we then decided to leave. We did see the shrimp arepas being served next to us and the shrimp was gray so which also prompted us to leave. read more

I'm visiting PR, and a colleague recommended I try this restaurant. The food was delicious. We ordered grouper bites, chicken monfongo, fried whole red snapper with peas and rice. The portions are large. We had to get a to go box. The staff is friendly. We are not fluent in Spanish; however, they were patient with us as we tried to speak it to them. The food was delicious. Don't get me wrong. I had a fresh piece of fish which is great because it's caught right here for $40. Then I had a virgin daiquiri in a plastic 10 ounce cup for $12 so I'm guessing I had a locally caught piece of fish and a little drink for $52. I don't really care how good the food is that is just way too expensive. The service was OK. The ambience was all right for $52. I could've fed myself for the month. I treated myself because it's my first night here I went to the grocery store. I will not be going out to dinner here. read more

Nos encontramos con una construcción y equipo pesado así que el primer restaurante que vimos ahí paramos. Local al aire libre, pero no hay moscas. El mismo menú te indica que mínimo se tardan 1 hora en servirte al comida así que tiene prisa tienes que esperar. En la parte del frente del mismo restaurante vende frituras que puedes pedir para calmar tu hambre en lo que llega la comida. Local vacío pero para el almuerzo se llenó!! Our sit-down experience wasn't great as it took them 40 minutes to make fish tacos and an arepa... Food was tasty though. Fish tacos were fresh and came with lots of veggies. Seafood mixto was also fresh and the dough tasted like donuts. Obviously you can order a bunch of items at the counter which was way faster and fresher - highly recommend order to go! This place is racist as hell. They blatantly ignore black guests and non locals. The servers' attitudes are nasty and dismissive. We waited at least 10 minutes before we were acknowledged in the window to order food. Meanwhile, others were served quickly and efficiently. After we paid - they were quick to dismiss us and attend others quickly. If you're in the area - skip place. The food is mediocre and the ambience is subpar at best. We loved this place right off Seven Seas Beach! We were on the hunt for some paella, and boy did they deliver! It says paella for 2 but it fed the three of us two different meals and we still had left overs! The server said they they don't usually measure the rice though so I can't guarantee the serving will be that big every time. Also, the kitchen closes at 7pm during the week so get there before then to ensure you get a table and can enjoy their food. Little beachside restaurant that has parking in the back. This seemed to be the only restaurant open in the area before 12p. If it's not too crowded or you get prime seating, you can sit and see the water while you eat. On par price wise with the many of the restaurants in the area - not cheap but there are items like the fish tacos that will let you have a meal for under $15. The fish tacos had essentially fried fish fingers in them but the breading was crispy and was pretty thin. It had a cabbage slaw and good pico type topping. Overall enjoyed them. The pork mofongo was a little pricey but tasted good. Was our first time trying mofongo so I cant say how it compares to anything. The drinks were good and strong - great for a hot day. read more

My husband came to florida on our last vacation day for a family death. We were looking for a place to eat near the water and noticed a couple of folks eating outside, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the red snapper with tostones and my husband ordered fried chicken and tostones...all was flavorful, well cooked and delicious. The Manager Ricardo was great, he gifted us with coco empanadas. I have to say those empanadas were the best I have ever had! I highly recommend this place, the food and the view was amazing. This was the very first restaurant that I had ever gone to when I arrived in Puerto Rico, and I must say, I never did have mofongo that I enjoyed as much as I did that very first meal! I ordered chicken mofongo with garlic sauce, I am drooling writing about it now! Do not expect to be served quickly. This restaurant was packed, and it took a while for us to give our order and receive our food. It was convenient as it was right on the beach, and we were able to have a view of the water as we ate. I reluctantly give this place 4 stars, but... We went to sit and eat, but our table wasnt great (all the way in the back) and you could tell the service was going to be slow af. So we bailed and went to the walkup counter. Thank god. My wife got shrimp empanadas and they were ok. On recommendation from the counter girl, I got a shrimp arepa. It was very fresh and good. Two quick drinks and a walk to the beach. Side note - Some lady told us it was "the best ever" as we were walking up. Yikes. She needs to get out more. Another reviewer posted that the fettuccine alfredo is the best he's ever had. That cannot possibly be a recommendation anyone follows. I'm from Puerto Rico and I can tell you that you WILL NOT go wrong coming to this place. It truly is a gem on this side of the island. To be honest it is as good as any restaurant in Joyuda( opposite of the island ). Drinks are good as well and let's not forget about the location. If you decide to eat here (we didn't have a choice either due to lack of options) please limit your expectations. I ordered wings and they were edible-- grilled and dipped in A1 sauce. The fries were nothing special. We had to clean our own table. No big deal, but after a few minutes I realized my wet napkins didn't do the trick. I had bird poop on my shirt and hands so we we asked for cleaning products to sanitize the area. Our server sprayed a paper towel and handed the dripping towel to us to do it ourselves again. This is a decent place to grab a bite after a day at the beach. We got the Costa Mia sampler which was a great way to sample various appetizers. My fav was the cheese cubes and guava sauce. Definitely shareable as a meal for two people or snacking for a small group. We also got the skirt steak mofongo. That latter dish wasn't so good. The steak was too obviously salty, so not enjoyable. Yall when i tell you this place was FIRE!! i've been recommending it to everyone ive met since. 100% the best mofongo ive had since being in PR. So good i had to meet the chef & thank him personally. my boyfriend had the beef tostones, they were good although not what we were expecting. More sweet than savory but delicious nonetheless. the place is nice and has a great view of 7 seas beach & the price was not bad for the quality of food as well as the portions. the staff was very nice, gave us some recommendations of some night life in luquillo as well.
