I had started this process at the beginning of the year and had very few issues until late February when it suddenly felt like the wheels had come off and I began to experience an immense amount of physical and emotional discomfort. I honestly did not know what to expect with Rob but, after meeting the first time, I found that he was not only extremely knowledgeable in a lot of areas, but that we were also very much in alignment about our approach to health - specifically, the need to heal through natural means. Even so, I was not prepared for the level of success that followed. He assured me that most of the withdrawal symptoms I was experiencing could be reduced or eliminated with some simple cardio activity 15 minutes per day. This was a bit difficult at first but the results were immediate. After a week or so, I actually looked forward to it because I was feeling so good, my energies levels were up, and I was beginning to look much healthier than I had in a long time. Our subsequent sessions focused on other areas - sleeping habits, meditation, eating, even socializing - all of which were extremely helpful in supporting my body and mind as they realigned and adjusted to my new regimes. One of my biggest surprises, since I hadn't even set out to do this, was my weight loss and elimination of joint pain and muscle fatigue, apparently as the result of following his recommendation to go gluten free. I had already lost about 8 lbs since the first of the year (I started the year around 220 lbs) but, upon going gluten free, the extra pounds just rolled off of me. By late May, I was down to 185 and suddenly felt like I had the energy I had at 30 - and NO JOINT PAIN whatsoever. I could do heavy yard work all weekend and feel only mild muscle pain the next day! FYI, I'm now at 175, my "ideal weight" according to the medical charts. Rob has an amazing amount of knowledge - far beyond just physical therapy - and he has had life experiences that demonstrate the effectiveness of these concepts. Before he has his first appointment they told my he was only actually booked for 3 appointments as the schedule was changing due to the end of the school year, but that they would figure something out. I didn't hear back. At my first appointment the therapist told me she was on vacation for the next 2 weeks, so I only had that 1 appointment booked. I asked the front desk about it on the way out and they said they'd look into it. I called the manager to complain and got a call back from someone at the from desk the next day (not the manager) asking if I would like to have just 45 minute appointments, rather than an hour as they couldn't find a time to suit my schedule. I said I'd rather not, but asked if I would still be charged for the whole hour. He didn't know, but said he'd get back to me. He never did. 3 weeks later I got a call asking to confirm my appointment for that afternoon, to which I informed him that I had never been told of any appointment, hadn't confirmed anything, and was still waiting to hear if the appointments would be 45 minutes or an hour and what I would be charged. He said my insurance had confirmed a pro-rated rate for the 45 minutes. I told him I had already found another therapist that confirmed a set schedule and I would not be using them anymore. It's now been 3 weeks and they have not yet submitted the discharge paperwork, meaning we can't start the appointments with the new therapist yet. They are absolutely useless!!
