A Place That Feels Like Home…read more Some restaurants are worth visiting because of the food. Others are worth visiting because of the people. Hola Restaurant is one of the rare places that gives you both since the moment you walk in. I first discovered Hola about 4 years ago when I was working near Island Pond. Every Friday, my coworkers and I looked forward to ordering from there. We'd all pitch in for breakfast or lunch, and my boss would pick up our order. It quickly became our Friday tradition, and honestly, it was always the highlight of the workweek. Over the years, Hola has become much more than just a restaurant to me. I've trusted them to cater my baby shower and my son's birthday, and every single time they exceeded my expectations. Whenever friends or family come to visit, Hola is one of the first places I take them because I know they'll leave impressed, not just by the food, but by the experience. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. No matter what we order, it never disappoints. Even now, living about 40 minutes away, I still make the drive because it's simply that good. What truly sets Hola apart, though, is the people. The woman who cooks is one of the sweetest, most loving people you'll ever meet, and the staff makes you feel like you're walking into a family member's home rather than a restaurant. They remember your name, they remember your family, and they genuinely ask how everyone is doing. Those little moments mean so much because they make you feel seen, appreciated, and welcomed every single time you walk through the door. In today's world, it's becoming harder to find places that combine amazing food with genuine hospitality. Hola Restaurant has mastered both. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to share because the food usually disappears before I even think about taking one! But trust me when I say this place is worth every single penny. If you're anywhere near Springfield or even if you're not, make the trip. I promise you won't regret it. For me, it's not just a restaurant anymore. It's a place that feels like home, and I'll continue recommending it to everyone I know. Highly, highly recommended.

I had a Chicarrom de Polo (no bones) with yellow/Spanish rice & black beans & a Costello a BBQ rids with white rice and black beans & overall impressive (photos will accompany) & this is an interesting Spanish style restaurant (I only wish whereabouts the cuisine is representing due to numerous areas) and best $38 spent.

Food 4 stars, Service 1 star - got charged for food we received, but hadn't ordered…read more We went on a Thursday after hearing and confirming that there was a pig roast every Thursday and maybe Friday evening. We expected a proper pig roast outside, with a giant pig being rotisseried (gross but whatever). We went out to the patio area to sit, which was actually a really nice ambiance, but there was also definitely no pig roast happening, which was why we came here in the first place. We more or less got ripped off. Three of us ordered mofongo with pork belly (mofongo w/ chicharron de cerdo - $11). The waitress asked if we wanted some chicharron on the side and we said, "just whatever it comes with" and my mother reaffirmed in Spanish that we only wanted what it came with "como venga" (since the waitress seemed to only speak Spanish, which is fine). We get our mofongos and it comes with extra chicharron on the side which to be honest, I would never have ordered because I don't eat that much meat and also would never order a meat that I already had in my mofongo. I only finished half my meal by the end. And of course, when we get the check, the mofongo meal costed $25 each -- over double the menu price!!! -- because the waitress added the extra chicharron on the side. Which makes no sense since we literally didn't ask for it in the first place. Literally she more than doubled our order and the price for no reason. Service-wise, it took absolutely forever to order, get our food, and get the check despite us being the only customers for 75% of our time there. I understand they may have had delivery orders but honestly it was getting ridiculous towards the end, sitting for literally 20-30 minutes with no water after we had all finished eating (half the group ended up leaving us with cash and peacing out). Now, I will say that the food was pretty good, not amazing but good. The yuca fries were the best part and were 10/10. But after the slow service in addition to getting ripped off and doubling our order without asking, I can never return here out of principle.

I ordered the Filet Mignon. It was easily the second best steak I have ever been served. It was perfectly cooked, a sauce that was rich and flavorful was ladled on top with mushrooms. All around asparagus spears that were fresh and cooked to perfection. On the side was a product that I have never had the pleasure to try in the past. "Yuca" it is in many ways similar to potatoes, but smother and more flavorful. I will be back.

Had to ask 3x for to go boxes. We had a party of 4. Ask for the check and was given one for the whole table. Was told it could not be split up. When we told her we were not paying together and she needed to split the checks she left and came back with an attitude. There is no sign and no one communicates that they don't split checks or automatically add 18% gratuity onto your check. The service or food is not that good to have an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill. There was one waitress/bartender so it took her awhile to get back to you. There is not many food choices on the menu.i really wanted to like this place.
