Always skipped this place because of the ratings, but decided to try it earlier this week. Not many places around here offer cabeza. Yelp ratings are still not great, but I read some of the one-star reviews and they sound like a-holes who love to complain. The cabeza tacos are decent. One of the four I ordered was really fatty/'squishy and kind of unpleasant. But the other three were very good. Tonight I got a pastor burrito and it was fantastic. I'm not entirely sure what was on it. They asked, "Everything on it?" and I always say yes. Whatever it is they think should be on it, that's the way I want it. So glad I did because it was delicious. Several chunks of fat in the meat, but the overall flavor made up for it. read more

El Gran Taquito has been my breakfast burrito spot for YEARS! The service is always great, Carolina was very welcoming. It's a great clean space and they have a self serve condiment bar of salsas & other fixings. Only downside is the high pricing. For a carne asada burrito & breakfast burrito it was $27, definitely more expensive than other places. read more

Tried this resturant for the 1st time. Will not be back. They advertise a breastfast burrito for $4.99, only the burrito only has a chose of meat, egg and vegetables. Supposed to come with coffee. What kind of breakfast burrito does not have potatoes, and cheese? Not to mention if you do not drink coffee. Had to pay extra for both Diet Coke, and too add potatoes, and cheese. Too top all that off, the person at the corner gave my order to another person. Could not even remember the food or the number that i was, or ordered. The food was actually pretty good. The issue that I had was with the ordering. Maybe because of a language barrier. I didn't get what I ordered. In addition when I brought this up the women who helped us at the counter she said that she told me something which was actually opposite of what she said. Disappointed it was mozzarella not mexican cheese, the red sauce tasted like canned enchilada sauce, but that's why its Mexican American. They came with a side of beans and rice. I live in the area and have been going to this place for years. It was much better before the name change even though it's the same owners it's slipping. In the past I would have told anyone this was the place for breakfast burritos not today. I ordered a machaca breakfast burrito it was OK nothing amazing but ok, tasted bland. You would think well I'll just put hot sauce on it well not now. Not sure if they changed their recipe or just trying to stretch it as far as they can , it was flavorless colored water.
