There's not a ton of carnicerias in the Laveen area, so when I'm in a pinch, I come here. I will say that while they carry a wide selection of goods and hot foods, I'm not the biggest fan of their sazon. Asked the butcher for something not too cheap and not too expensive to grill. So he gave me 3 pounds of pasilla carne. Said it was good. Came home and grilled it and found that it was pretty chewy. Disappointed why anyone would sell something for $11.99 a pound that, after chewing it for a while, you finally just take it out and throw it away. Won't be going back. read more

We love this place! Although they have all types of meat, we often go for a couple of pounds of carne asada for dinner or game night but we had a NYE party, went the day of and was able to order 20lbs and I can say, they are decently priced. It comes with sautéed onion, peppers and jalapeños. Their packaged tortillas are delicious plus the pico and guac. Great food, great quality, it's really clean and the staff are so nice. The gentleman even allowed us to taste a "hangover" soup. Everything has such great flavor. Must try! read more

My work always gets the family pack from this place. It gets wiped out every single time. It's so affordable that I decided to take some home for dinner because I was not in the mood for cooking. For 19.99 you get a styrofoam plate filled with cut up Carme asada, perfect for tacos. It comes with a tiny container of rice and another with beans. You can add a fresh pack of warm tortillas, a container of guacamole and a container of salsa. All for about 32-34 bucks. More than enough to feed my family of 6 (3 of which are teenagers) and we still had leftovers. They offer other types of prepared meats and food but we have not gotten around to try them. They all look so good and reasonably priced. Live that the prices are easily visible unlike other carnicerías that don't have them available at all. Overall great establishment, can't wait to try more of their food. read more

I came in here because I saw signs yesterday of a maximum of 10 people at a time inside, only to find more than 16 people at the same time and the employees are not wearing gloves or masks. Also saw one of the employees cleaning with a rag and spray cleaner around the cooked food not caring and the rag kept touching the food like chicharrón portion. So now the cooked food that people take out is full of cleaner and dirt. This is terrible, how employees do not care for the health and safety of others specially their customers. read more

I go there every once and a while to buy some beef. I went there today with my kids after we painted a couple of rooms in my house. We all looked a little worn out wearing worn out, painted clothes. About 2 weeks ago, me and my wife made a party for my daughter, and we ordered 10lbs of carne asada already cooked and cut. When we went to go pick it up the guy gave me half a tray saying it was 10lbs. When I got home we weighed it and it was only 5lbs. We called back and they made the excuse that they weight the meat raw with blood at 10lbs then cook it. Total BS...So 5lbs of blood was on the meat?!. I later went to another Carniceria and they ACTUALLY GAVE ME 10lbs. It was double the amount. They weight it cooked not Raw. And on top of that these people didn't know what their price is on meat. We called a day before asking how much per pound and they said $10. They say we went to pay it the lady said "umm 8 or 9" as if we were to pick, obviously it was better then on the phone but it seems shady that they just pick what price they want to sell it to you and could be different for the next person. read more
