This small taco truck is pretty amazing, delicious, and affordable for a good stop right before heading towards Interstate Hwy 5 north or south. We usually stop at Burger King across the street, but decided to check Aurora Tacos out/next to gas station. Good cashier service and employees were nice Hispanics. They do accept all types of credit cards or cash. Love this tiny spot. Nothing fancy. There's a few wooden benches and trash bins nearby, but not much. Convenient. I saw a huge sunflower on the side by the street. 2-pieces of beef tacos and 2-pieces of chicken tacos were perfect. Yummy and fresh with ingredients. They're small tacos, but so good. You can select handmade tortillas too. Each regular taco was $2.50 each. They really hooked them up with plenty of onions and parsleys just the way I like it. Lemon slice was very juicy too. Good sauces already topped on. Clean and good liking mini tacos. Regular burrito $10 and burrito supreme $11. Amazing. I'm loving it. Affordable and decent. We will be back. Good stop. read more

Perfect spot to stop on road trip back to the bay or heading south. Off the 152 this little gem is located on the Chevron lot. Don't come here if you're in a rush. Menu is straightforward and prices are very reasonable. Food is made to order and the option to pay a dollar for homemade tortillas. They were very attentive on toppings as it comes with cilantro and onions. Customer service was great. Ordered a plain quesadilla with serious cheese pull and pollo taco. Served on paper plates topped with foil and comes with green salsa. You can eat outside at a table with benches or dine in your car. Overall tasty meal for under $10. Will be back again on next road trip and hope to try burrito. They have veggie option as well as variety of meats including tongue. read more

I've been here on three different occasions and every time the Carne Asada burrito and carne street tacos have been the best I've had. She doesn't skimp on the meat. Thank you Yelp for another GREAT recommendation. I pulled into this gas station for gas and noticed the little food truck. Should I? shouldn't I? Let me see what Yelp says. All five stars?!? I had the chicken tacos with the made to order corn tortillas - perhaps the best or one of the best tacos I've ever had. The woman who made them was super nice and friendly. Best tortillas I've had! We stopped here on the drive to LA and this is a small trailer in a Chevron parking lot with one picnic table. They take cash and credit card (with a small surcharge for cards). They serve tacos, burritos and quesadillas and the tortillas are super fresh (and homemade). The burrito comes with rice, beans, onion, cilantro, salsa and your choice of meat and then is grilled. I got the Al pastor which was tasty (a tiny bit spicy and a tad bit salty but still good). I would definitely eat here again on the way to or from LA. It's conveniently located right off 5. Don't miss it, there aren't many options in this area! read more

$5 for a veggie burrito? Heck yeah! We stopped here because the hubs was craving tacos. This is a small taco truck near the Chevron station. He had 4 tacos al pastor and got me a good sized veggie burrito all for $12! Food was good and service was nice as well. We would definitely stop here again when passing through the area. read more

Honestly BEST tacos ever! Wow!!! We stoped by on a long road trip and got some asada tacos some al pastor and even some canitas tacos as well with some hand made torillas! Omg so good. There is a gas station in the same parking lot got a large glass coke. Wow such a great stop for food. The lady that was working she seemed to be the owner. She was so kind and welcoming. We had our tacos to go we ate them in the car with our ice cold cokes. Will come by here every trip we take. Aurora's taco truck is located in a Chevron parking lot. I recommend grabbing a bite from this little taco truck after gassing up. I ordered a carne asada burrito con todo. Rice, beans, onions, cilantro, sour cream, and cheese. My burrito was meat heavy this time around. The carne asada has good flavors. Same with the red and green salsa as always. 4/5 I really appreciate the lady working in the taco truck. She's the only one working in there today and she's still dishing out good food. Also, there was a homeless person ahead of me. He tried paying her for his order but she declined his payment. Gave him a free meal. Very kind of her. Will be back to support her business. read more

Stumbled on this little spot on our way back from LA when we stopped at the Chevron. Looked up the business on yelp and seen everyone gave them 5 stars, so I needed to give them a try, plus I love tacos so I needed to see for myself, I got 3 asada tacos with their handmade tortillas and they were delicious!! The meat was tender and very flavorful, the tortillas were soft and the green salad was very good, not to spicy or over powering. It's a mom and son running the business and I with them all the best. Definitely a great little hole in the wall, I hope more people can stop by if they are in the area. read more

An employee at the TA Truck Service tipped me off to this food truck, saying this lady makes the best burritos in town. After going there yesterday, I'm inclined to believe him. Simply delicious. I got an al pastor burrito, and as soon as I started eating it I regretted not buying another. I wouldn't have had room for it in my stomach, but when you get a burrito that good you just feel the need to get a second one for later. Actually, you know what? I'm going to go back today and get a couple more for the road before I leave. If you're staying at the Petro nextdoor, do yourself a favor and give this lady your business. read more

Working close by and decided to give this place a try due to all the positive reviews. Reviews were spot on! Got the Carne supreme asada burrito, tortilla was toasted and the asada was of good quality, grilled not boiled and had a nice char to it! Great ratio on cheese, sour cream. Beans were really good. Did not ask for rice, but I will bet it's as delicious. Asked for grilled onions and jalapeño on the side. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. They take card or cash. read more

It's easy to dismiss the small taco catering trailer but trust me they have amazing food! They have freshly made tortillas and the meat is high quality. My wife never would eat lengua tacos but after the owner suggested them my wife ordered lengua tacos and absolutely loved them! read more

You MUST visit this food truck. First you can gas up at this Chevron. Use their clean bathroom. Then feast on Aurora's Mexican food. We got carnitas burritos & tacos. Burritos were so big. I needed to switch to tacos. She fills the tacos with lots of meat and delicious salsa. Tortillas are homemade. read more

Yes, already reviewed it. But the chicken taco was so good I got a quesadilla and two more tacos to go. Tonight I'm having genuine Aurora taco longings and wishing it wasn't so far away. I might even look forward to the drive to NoCal next time. However they marinate the chicken makes it tender and full of flavor. The corn tortilla is the best I've ever tasted. These aren't street taco size. Two are filling, lots of fresh cilantro and that fabulous salsa, then served with a half lemon on the side. Not a grocery store lemon with thick rind and no juice, but one that looks and tastes like it was grown in someone's back yard. The beef taco was good too, but the chicken had more flavor. The quesadilla was on a great tortilla as well--one made properly with lard I would guess. Simple, VERY full of good (not bland) cheese and sour cream. Now I'll have to search for something comparable locally. Because this place just ruined every LA taco for me. None of the recommended ones I've tried can even compare. I finally understand people who are obsessed with tacos. read more

They have souvenirs, chatchkis, all kinds of different food items... you can buy the dried peas with a recipe card, or they also sell their soup in a can. . The canned soup tastes just like the restaurant. They have the original, but they also have a canned soup with bacon. The bacon is pulverized, so there are no chunks of it in the soup, but you can definitely taste it. It plays off of the pea soup so well. The soup they sell in the restaurant is made fresh, not canned, . They have a bar, dining room, and a coffee shop. Most people eat in the coffee shop. The coffee shop has a big menu, but of course the star is the pea soup. You can get the "travelers special", which is all you can eat pea soup, with all the fixins, and your choice of beverage, including a milkshake if you want one. The soup they serve in the restaurant, is both vegetarian and vegan, but you can't tell. It is amazingly rich, and creamy. The prices are reasonable and when you check out of the restaurant, they also have cookies, pastries, and even some candies. A nice upsell for dessert. We ate here in January 2nd at 11:30am and were really pleased with the food, service, and clean atmosphere. People are quick to post negativity, but effort should be given when a place like this does service and food right. This place should be shown more love (and not just because it's next to a Love's Gas Station).

The service was horrible they were very slow and my order was sitting there for 5+ minutes, and they never asked for our food after it was sitting there for a long time. I went there 2 times to get something quick to eat and both times were trash. The first time I got a burger and fries, they were overcooked and burnt to the max, where you couldn't even finish them. My second time is the last time coming back to this location because they were so bad, they didn't ever care we were in a rush and they gave us a bad attitude. My Dad got a green burrito and the beans tasted weird, like really old beans that been sitting out for days, and the tortillas was not cooked all the way and it tasted disgusting. I got a Bacon Cheeseburger and Fries, and they were horrid my Bacon Cheeseburger was overcooked that it tasted like rubber and nothing, and the fries were so salty I could barely finish them without drinking water. I would never ever eat at this location again and if I were you I would tell everyone to turn back and run away from this place immediately.

We like to gas up here as…read morethe bathrooms are usually clean, the store area has a wide variety of drinks and snacks for your trip to wherever you're heading and attached to the store is a Del Taco! They have a self check out area or the regular cashier to assist you with your checking out. I've not tried the food like the hot dogs that are on the rollers or anything else since we usually head next door. Prices are ok for a gas station stop for bottled drinks compared to other places I've been. I also like coming here because the price of gas is usually lower than other spots I've passed up on the 5.
