Love this place I go probably 4x a month and have always gotten the same order breakfast buritto and 3 salsas because it's pretty dry this was July 3rd around 730-8am..After years of seeing me I don't know why the lady would be so rude . She sees me walk in I give some space so the customer in front of me can finish paying. Have been coming to this place for 12 years and this place had great food years ago and as time as gone on the food quality and size has gone down with it . While the price has tripled if not more . The employees are terrible now with no care in the world and they do not listen or communicate and are just flat out rude and disrespectful . I was bored with my usual choices, wanting carnitas, but not interested in Los Panchos because I did not want to eat outside or take it home with me. I found El Grullense here on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The complimentary nachos were great! The carnitas platter was very good too. I need answers! I really want to give this place 5 stars because of their tacos, but that wouldn't be fair if their burritos are disgusting! First of all, what happened to the quality? I've tried the buche (too salty), lengua (bland, no seasoning), the carnitas is dry -- what happened El Greasy's? And please please please tell me why the Spanish rice tastes like Uncle Ben's minute rice? The chimichanga was beyond greasy -- it's like tasting nothing but oil. Ricky would make our food and walk it over to the warehouse. Arrived first in line person upfront male was on the phone didn't want to take my order. This place is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I always have the hardest time deciding between tacos or nachos here. The meats here are so flavorful, they re-fry the carnitas so they have a nice little crisp to it, which is excellent as a taco or on nachos. Their carne asada is also very tasty. Another one of my favorite dishes here are the Chili Verde. The pork melts in your mouth and they serve it with their hand made tortillas! Of course you have to drink some horchata with it as well! He is a steak, cheese, and rice guy. The meat was over seasoned for him to enjoy it. Not my meal though lol so I was happy. Tostada she'll was nice and crunchy! The toppings were very sufficient. In fact I was surprised when I picked up my tostada and it didn't even crack. Flavor all around with the toppings was great! It balanced out the meat. My coworkers ordered a catered lunch from them. Carne Asada and Lengua tacos with rice and beans. I was nervous when I walked in at first to pick it up. The person on assembly station wasn't wearing gloves, cook came from back prep area with produce against their shirt, cashier/expo was touching register, money, and food with no gloves or washing hands.
