Egg and Cuban steak breakfast sandwich with churros
    Rachel Macie H.

Low key in Key West is that a thing? Here it is as this was just what we were searching for to avoid the crowds! They are located in a strip mall next to a five guys so don't overlook them as you just might miss it! So I went with a breakfast sandwich it had it had Cuban steak eggs some cheese on Cuban bread it was totally yummy and had lot of flavor especially the bread but the real star here was the churros they were hot fresh and just took me back to the days in Mexico which was a huge win for me as good churros are hard to find! Overall this is a small spot that we grabbed some quick breakfast from and it was tasty hot and just good if I lived in the area I'd totally come here every so often!

If you're looking for a tasty and affordable breakfast in Key West, El Habanero is the place to go. I recently ordered bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches on Cuban bread, and they were great and filling. The café con leche was spot on, just what you need to start the day. Plus, the prices are super reasonable, making it a great spot for a satisfying breakfast without breaking the bank. The vibe is relaxed and family owned with very friendly staff.

The most amazing breakfast sandwich. Cuban sausages, eggs, and cheese on a Cuban roll. It looked, smelled, and tasted wonderful. I would highly suggest you give it a try.

Good food. Small place. Take it to go! All the food tastes fresh and was plenty for the price. We would share a meal next time.

Roast pork lunch platter with white rice, no beans. (I opted for no beans, but they do come with)

Our research told us that this would be a great meal and it truly was. I ordered the pork chunks, which were perfectly fried and so flavorful and tender on the inside. My wife ordered Ropa Vieja which was pulled beef, which wasn't as good, but still quite tasty. Had to bring food back home with us, which we ate for various snacks before we departed. Fast food and a nice hidden gem in the town. Glad we had this kick off our trip.

The restaurant is tucked away on a back street, far from the usual tourist spots, which adds to its charm. The food is authentic Cuban cuisine -- and I say that after decades of living in and around Hudson County, NJ, where the Cuban community is large and vibrant. At El Siboney, everything tastes fresh and homemade, with generous portions and prices that are refreshingly reasonable for Key West. This visit, I ordered the whole fried yellow snapper, served with yuca, yellow rice, and beans. My dinner companion had the Siboney skirt steak, one of the restaurant's popular dishes, served with a choice of sides. Both meals were excellent. Dessert was equally impressive: a delicious slice of tres leches cake and silky vanilla custard that were the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Dinner for two, including dessert and tip, came to about $100 -- a great value for the quality and quantity of food. El Siboney remains one of my favorite places to eat in Key West.
