This looks like a very authentic meat market. They sell a lot of different food and the smells in there are delicious. The service is also very good, I was taken care of right away and the people were very friendly. My only gripe is that they do not have fresh beef cheek. They have the cheek in stock but it's frozen. I was expecting a little more out of a meat market. Overall good place though! read more

This great little neighborhood shop just opened about two months ago. I was so pleased to see it there especially as we continue to see big box stores and corporate businesses opening. This is very much a meat market. You can get all sorts of cuts of beef and chicken, including carne asada and tongue. They also sell fish and have a small to go section of cooked beef, chicken and beans. They also have a very nice, albeit small, produce section. Fresh tomatoes and avocado and cilantro and cucumbers and more. They also have an offering of Mexican cheeses. You also find a range of pan, sweet Mexican bread, tortillas and chips. Need a piñata? They have some. And planning to make some homemade salsa? They have a spice section! And if you buy the meat on site they will grill it outside! read more

I went today at 412pm. I had called 5 minutes prior and was told that they were open until 5pm. I walked through the door and was instantly kicked out I was told they were closed. As I walked back to my car two other vehicles pulled up, two groups got out of vehicles, and were allowed to walk in. I stayed until they came out with bags full of food. They were allowed to buy and I wasn't. I don't know the reason for this, but I do know I'm white, and the other groups were Hispanic. I encourage everyone to go right up the street as there is a awesome place that I have not had any issues with. read more

Okay everyone always compliments my carne asada at our family BBQs and I take the credit:) but really it couldn't be possible without the best cuts of diesmillo in town from El Heradero! Their marinade is delicious! They have everything for a bbq! They have salsa, guacamole, beans, tortillas, and everything in between! They even have roasted Chilis in the front. And you can buy the meat and they even have a griller outside of you want them to cook it:) just remember to tip appropriately! There isn't a huge selection of breads and sweets but they have some. The staff is super nice and speak English and Spanish (which I love cause then I get to practice my Espanol and if I can't remember a word I can say it in English! The location is super clean and tidy- alway a plus! So i love love love this place! read more

Si this was my first time buying meat at Herradero and it was a disappointment, the meat was salty. I bought a side or beans and rice and the rice was moldy and it had a slimy taste to it! I'll never buy anything from this dump! read more
