Fresh marinated protein Adobada! Stacks fresh tortillas

On way to pick up lotion at nearest Dollar store and stumbled across this Supermarket, just when the tummy also began rumbling. Decided to take a peak and wow there's a Cocina and large spacious dining booths with bar seating for a quick bite, perfect! Carne Asada Torta 6/10 tasted just like a cheeseburger... sans pintos, What no beans? though a smattering of shredded lettuce and sprinkling of fine chopped tomatoes to round out a between the bun experience. Came with a picked carrot and jalapeno on side. Ask for the salsa, the red is very hot so Imma asking for mild next time haha. With a large menu including burros breakfast tacos would definitely try several times as the Torta didn't quite hit it for me, needed more toppings. Mr Clean would be smilin' at the cleanliness level, from the eating area to produce section and meat counter. Smaller supermarket that has everything you need including a cafe to fill those hunger pangs. Another reason not not go shopping when you are hungry... Or maybe it is?!! haha :D

Back in Feb for more Tamales. Looked around and found Mole' sauce for chicken. And a Santa Cruz chili Paste I was told elsewhere was no longer made. Excellent addition to tacos meat when being made.

The Ladies at the kitchen are always on point. The food and service are exceptional. The only thing to keep in mind is the lunch rush. They get busy.

First time here, and it definitely won't be our last!…read more We were pleasantly surprised to find parking right up front on a packed Friday night. Even better, we were seated immediately. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and we were greeted right away by a friendly server who helped us get settled. My husband was starving, so we placed our order as soon as we sat down, and the food arrived within 15-20 minutes. The service throughout the evening was outstanding. Our water glasses were kept full, and our server checked on us regularly without being intrusive. We started with the smoked beets, which were absolutely incredible. I'll honestly be thinking about that dish for days! We also ordered the seafood platter with shrimp, crab claws, oysters, and three slices of sashimi. Everything on the platter was fresh and beautifully prepared. The oysters and sashimi were rich, creamy, buttery, and absolutely delicious. The steak frites was another standout. I was pleasantly surprised to see it featured picanha steak. It was packed with flavor, cooked perfectly, and incredibly tender. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience with great food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We can't wait to come back!

Parking absolutely sucks in this area…read more Ambiance/Cleanliness-First of all, for the longest time in my experience, there is no way to tell if they are open or closed or where the front door is. There is now a sidewalk sandwich board which is helpful. This establishment cannot decide if it wants to be a butcher shop or a fine dining restaurant. It does both...to mixed results. It's the classiest butcher shop I have ever been in, and the most schizo restaurant, bar none. I would not bring a date here. 3 stars. Service-I walked in yesterday to look at a menu for lunch. Was not greeted after standing around for almost 10 minutes. I left without food. 1 star Food-Have gotten sausage, steak and lamb here in the past. Their cold case stands out. Good selection. The merguez, breakfast and brats that i had purchased all had good flavor and mouthfeel, but were unfortunately, extremely salty. Forbes is very expensive as well, compared to other butcher shops around Tucson, beef jerky is 40/lb. 2 stars
