I went during a lunch break and the food both myself and my coworkers got all ended up being incredible. There is seating in the back of the store but a massive selection of all kinds of Italian goods, both in freezers and in a deli-style section. The menu has all kinds of classic favorites and I tried a sandwich that had fresh burrata, which was the exact thing I was craving. The prices are decent for the size of the portions and I also ended up snagging a bag of Baci candies on my way out! This is a great lunch spot with something on the menu for everyone, including a whole array of deserts like cannolis.

The feast of the seven fishes is our yearly tradition during the holidays, and when it rolls around, Angie (I'm not making that up, that is her real name--I told you she was Italian) will grab stuff from Roma by the armful. I am of the opinion that the prepared foods from here can range from the, "Mama Mia!" (really really tasty) to the, "Eh, Cosi cosi" (you know, it passes) range. I'm a people-person and love to observe the patrons. Many of the customers appear to be of Italian descent and, like my bettah half seem to really-enjoy the traditional and authentic staples of, Il Bel Paese (The beautiful country). Food from many different regions of Italy are available. The decor is kinda fun. In my mind, when I think of what an Italian trattoria should look like, this place comes to mind... it's got the classic red and white checkered table clothes, maps and landscapes of Italy adorning the walls, and an energy of a place that is well cared for. A religious icon or two will also dot the interior landscape. The aroma of slowly simmering tomato gravy, cut garlic, roasted meats, chopped onions, and olive oil fills the air. It's an experience. Sometimes life imitates art, and hand to gawd, on my mutha's life... the last times I went, der was deeze tree guys sitt'n in dah corner. I swears, dey cou'da been cast members from the Sopranos. Ayhhyyee! Was'amatta, youse? The staff is generally warm and enthusiastic about their offerings. They generally have been super helpful, and if it's not too busy, are more than happy to make suggestions for new items or how best to prepare the items we have purchased. When we have visited, 90% of the time, the place was crack'n (meaning: super busy and full of life!). Sometimes, as we drive away and I take a peek at the receipt, I will exclaim, "Davvero! È così caro!" Loosely translated that means, "Really! That's so expensive!" My wife, who only knows a few words of Italian, has no idea that I was pooping my pantaloni over the cost... but, bless her heart, she seems to think the food here is worth every penny. Generally, I agree. So next time you go, remember to leave the gun, but take the cannoli. Mangiare!

Today, I switched and tried Walmart. How drastic this has turned out. The first problem encountered, was that once the shopping started, I was notified that they were out of 4 of the 12 items I had ordered. Then, they said my order would be delivered within 45 minutes to 1 hour. They provided a tracking link which showed the driver to be 10 minutes away, and provided a telephone number to contact the driver if needed. 30 minutes later, I checked on the map and it said he was 1 minutes away away but showed him to be going in the wrong direction and on the wrong street. I advised him he was on the wrong street and what street I lived on. He hung up and would not answer his phone again. Twenty minutes later, I was advised that Walmart was cancelling my order and they would release my funds in 6 days, which is unacceptable. I could not find a phone number on their website to allow me to get it resolved. I will not use Walmart again.

Wow. I couldn't decide whether a 4 or 5 star review is appropriate…read more The reviews on this place are spot on. Walking in, it's a bit confusing. There's no one to greet, nor a sign to state to wait to be seated. I saw a server and asked her and she lead me to a table. So, 4 stars for walking in. I was waiting on friend to show up. Our water glasses were filled and our server (Cory) asked if i wanted something to drink other than water (no). The place has a very industrial vibe and is very noisy (4 stars). Friend showed up and we looked at the somewhat limited menu. Cory took our orders. I ordered a (swordfish) fish sandwich with no bread and a side order of frittes (fries). Friend ordered the steak sandwich with condiments on the side. Looking around, one can see through the clear door as the butchers are breaking down the meats. There's a spot to shuck fresh oysters. There's a cooler with sides of beef and pork hanging and aging. along with cuts of meat, fish, and seafood. They had poke, different kinds of fish (amberjack which I've not seen outside of Florida)! There's a lot of wait staff, all in black with no name tags. The food arrived after about a ten minute wait. And the wait was worth it. The swordfish was done perfectly, juicy and tender. The swordfish was served with tartar sauce but it wasn't needed. The steak sandwich was just that, with the meat being steak worthy - tender and flavorful. The fries were AMAZING!!! Cooked in tallow, they were soft on the inside with a crusty outer shell. We ate every last one of them ((5 stars on the food). And 5 stars for Cory who was very busy but kept our water glasses filled and answered our questions. We talked to the owner for a bit. It was obvious that he has a passion for what he's got going on at this place. We'll go back for sure.

They looked absolutely mouth watering and were about $20/lb. We also ordered a Steak Frites to go and it was honestly perfection. The most perfectly medium-rare steak with so much flavor along with the perfectly crisp French fries. The baby bleu shallot sauce was just okay. The taste of fat was stronger than the other ingredients. But the fries were so beautifully cooked that you honestly don't need any sauce at all. Just enjoy their tallow fried goodness! Customer service was okay. Our order was handled quickly but our friend who placed the order felt uncomfortable in the space. Some of the young staff members were repeating her name and then would laugh and she felt a bit self-conscious because of it. There were also a lot of people in the food prep area laughing and hanging out, which didn't feel super clean. But, due to the fantastic quality of the food, we will definitely be back and look forward to hopefully have an even better overall experience

Why they chose snowbird season to close it down to upgrade power is beyond me. Never saw anyone working on the sites however. Would be nice to get some communication for visitors. Traffic nearby outside of base can also get noisy with loud vehicles. I did hear someone complain about noise inside the base, called security and they said they couldn't do anything w/o catching them in the act. Base security was never seen by me. Maintenace folks ride around in gold carts and were visible. Sites are close but pretty normal. Bathrooms, showers, laundry clean. Laundry prices raised due to expenses incurred by patrons washing dog blankets with lots of hair reportedly. Office staff were Ok. Recommend and would stay here again.
