She is on top of things and I've seen her do every job from computer work to straightening up to helping cook in the back. She seems to be the type of person who is willing to do whatever needs to be done. She also seems to have a great relationship with her staff and that's also very important. Manuel is very friendly and helpful. He's knowledgeable about their menu and always remembers what our friend likes to drink when she forgets what it's called. I love the openness and space. There's a couch and chairs in the back if you feel like lounging, plenty of tables in the front for eating, working, or just sitting at. There are games that people can play although sometimes children get ahold of them and pieces go missing. There is also a little kids play area which is golden when you have a toddler. I love that I can sit and have my food/coffee and also keep an eye on my little guy while he plays. It's a wonderful place to meet with people or to just take your kids when you need to sit down with a cup of coffee while they play. They have a good variety of drinks on top of the seasonal offerings. The food is good, and I kind of love that a lot of it is made in a waffle iron. It makes me want more waffle shaped food. The grilled cheese is made with sourdough bread and cooked in a waffle iron. It has these little crispy bits that are heavenly. One of my favorites is the sausage egg and cheese biscuit with a side of gravy. It's also prepared in a waffle maker and has those little crispy bits on the edges. So so good! The tres leches latte was okay, it was just milky coffee which considering its tres leches seems about right. I preferred the cookie butter latte as it had a stronger taste of the flavoring. Although I will say we got two cookie butter lattes one with oatmilk one with regular milk and in the oatmilk one the cookie flavor was much more prominent so I would recommend getting oatmilk in it, if you decide to try it. The lemonade pie was really though, I always enjoy the baked goods they have. We went through the drive thru, and were the only ones in line at the time so we were greeted and serviced fairly quickly.
