    "Carne Asada" nachos

Idk about the food at this restaurant but the food truck needs help they need to use better quality meat it almost looks like carne molida de puerco or chicken. Who knows...The onions taste horrible they either the have them sitting in the heat or something but that was the worst I ever had. they replace 3 items cuz they swear everything is fresh made, and she said there's has to been a mistake...I said okay we will try again. but honestly the meat is probably the cheapest meat with didn't get onions the second time, it is not carne asada though it taste like cooked beef or some sort of beef it was so salty, Very disappointing. I did give them 2 stars for good rice and beans. Customer service was decent. She really tried to be nice. Going back the food...The salsa tasted water down, it taste like tomatillos with water. I think I'll leave it at that. And I know good food and good cooking. I cook a lot at home so when I eat out I want to be a treat not a disappointment. Here's pic of the "carne asada" nachos.

Bomb carnitas tacos at the 24-hour truck. The lengua tacos are pretty delicious as well. Four tacos and a drink should do you right. If not, you can always order more...they're only a buck each friend. Vamanos wey...

Right when we got to SoCal from SF, my friend was adamant that we stop by this food truck! The line was pretty long and it took a bit of time to get the food, but the tortillas are fresh and you see them making it right there! $1 tacos! I only tried the pollo, but it was so goooood! Don't forget to add the toppings that are out there. Especially the avocado sauce and onions!! Cash only!

If you're thinking of hosting your own event please consider this wonderful restaurant! They made our wedding a night to remember and made sure to have enough food for all our family and friends! Oscar was 100% dedicated to ensure our wedding was perfect and I thank him and his restaurant who went out of their way to make our wedding a memorable one!

I have always had a good meal at this joint for the many years I have visited. However, tonight's meal of chicharrones in salsa verde was probably the worst version of that dish I've had. First, the chicharrones were semi-crunchy in the salsa. My experience with this dish is that the chicharrones should be cooked until soft and gushy. But semi-crunchy? It's bad enough that the chicharrones look like the kind that come out of a bag. Plus the salsa verde was a bit bland but I would have overlooked that had the chicharrones been cooked properly! What kind of lazy cooking is that? I try not to be too hard on hole-in-the-wall type of joints but this really perplexed me. I told the waitress/cashier chick about it and all I got was a lethargic "Oh Okay..." In that case, " oh okay" I guess I won't be back.

9 condiments Pinto beans, onions, grilled chilis, 2 different green chili, red chili, radishes, lemons, & sliced jalapeños.

Everything they make is delicious! I've had the tortas, ceviche, quesadillas de maíz, flautas and agua chile.

Not too sweet not too tart but just right. I got to meet the owner Grace when she wasn't running around doing everything. So sweet and friendly. My friend's booth was inside the cafe. That's the only reason why I went. It was HOT outside. With my foldable fan it wasn't helping. Just putting hot stale air in my face. Grace lent the outside vendor's fan/misters. What an absolute angel. Talking to a couple of the vendors it was a life saver. The Cafe was kept clean and orderly. I would love to go back and support a Boss Lady like Grace, it's just really far for me. Even the employees still hang out there on their day off. That says volumes! Also it was pointed out to me (because I don't know) the Cafe are Marvel and Star Wars fans. Go check it out if you are too!

We tried the grilled cheese with chips, and everything tasted so fresh. The cheese pull was AMAZING! The mango smoothie had a slight hint of durian to me, but the mango flavor still really popped! The Peach Jasmine Tea was delicious, and the Hibiscus Cooler was phenomenal--not overly sweet, which is exactly what I look for. Great job! We'll definitely be back!

The coconut ice cream milk tea is a unique and delicious drink. Another standout drink is the matcha frostie with creme brulee. I have never had a bad drink from this place. The menu here is very huge, maybe even too huge. There are so many drinks you could possibly order, ranging from milk teas to fruit teas to slushies to coffees and a lot more. I think it would be better if they focused on a smaller menu with some really good specialty drinks. Nevertheless, I will miss this boba shop.

Unfortunately, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted funky. Some pearls had the flavor of soap. "Gross!!" I arrived at YOTEA (Rosemead) on Monday (around 12:16PM). Parking is simple if familiar with the area. There's a rear parking garage for customers. Staff is unmemorable and awkward. When I mentioned they mixed old and new menus together which displayed incorrect prices, Staff seemed amused and let them stay mixed. Staff avoided customer interaction whenever possible. The drink took two minutes and 10 seconds. Quick time. The Pandan Milk Drink ($5.99 - 50% Sweetness - Regular Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 80 cents) tasted artificial. It had a strong "candy milk taste," and it glowed a neon green when stirred. The first sip was pleasant, but as I continued to drink, the taste became more off-putting. Next, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted inconsistent. Some tasted perfectly fine, but others had the flavor of dishwater and gloop. I was tempted to throw it into the garbage can. Concerning ambiance, YOTEA (Rosemead) has potential. Ignoring the cobweb underneath one table & the somewhat old furniture, there's utility. This location has about 10 electrical outlets. Wow! There's also customer internet with password; the internet information is taped onto the black register. There's also a customer gender neutral restroom. YOTEA (Rosemead) is also very spacious. The ceiling is very tall, and there's many spots to sit. There's about 16 tables!! If desperate for a study/work spot, this is a decent choice. There's also upbeat, smooth music. Overall, I had a disappointing experience at YOTEA (Rosemead). There's utility and potential, but this business feels old and unmaintained. Rather than clean, Staff just chattered amongst themselves. Any passion that rang within these walls dissipated a long time ago. Currently, YOTEA (Rosemead) is simply mediocre. 2.9 out of 5
