My husband and I tried Yo Tea for the first time on Friday, Nov 14th at around 3 PM. I got the Yo Fruit Tea with light ice, which is filled with slices of orange, lemon, and a small bite of watermelon. It is a four seasons tea mixed with orange juice, lemon juice, and passion fruit syrup. The drink was tasty, not overly sweet (even though I got full sweet, very refreshing and I would definitely be willing to order this again. This time I ordered through Uber Eats and at that time, they had a special BOGO deal so both drinks were $8.35 and was a steal. All in all, I'd be willing to try out more drinks from Yo Tea in the future!
YOTEA is a modern cafe in Rosemead serving up some unique Asian-inspired drinks. To get here, street parking will be your best bet and there is a good amount of it around the shop. Inside, they have a spacious setup with a lot of seating options. For their menu, they have a great selection of different matcha, milk tea, fruit tea, and yakult drink to choose from. Wifey and I opted to try the Sweet Corn Matcha and it was definitely one of the best matchas we have tried recently. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming here. We will be back forsure next time we are in the area!
After hearing about Yotea for so long, I finally stopped by for a visit to try their drinks. There were a few I wanted to try including the Egg Coffee and the corn drinks but I decided on Banana Pudding Matcha Latte. It happened to be BOGO when I went and I had no idea, but I was pleasantly surprised to received two drinks when I went to get my drink when they called my name! The banana flavor was well balanced with the matcha and I love the "pudding" part of the drink, it felt like I was eating dessert while enjoying a drink, I found it really unique from most Banana Matcha Lattes I had. The place is pretty spacious with plenty of seating, a great hangout or work/study spot!
Sesame Matcha Latte at 25% sugar is still sugar overkill. Probably have to go even lower on the sweetness--- no added sugar because the sesame cream or whatever they use is already spiked with sugar. That being said, I popped a straw immediately into the Jasmin Gree Tea to water down the sweetness after taste on my tounge. Much better. Service here is quick, it's a good little alternative to the more crowded Aroma Formosa on Rosemead near Las Tunas, and less hectic than waiting in line at 3Catea or Molly Tea. If you're a quiet person, an introvert, maybe this place is for you. All the INTP, INFP, ISFJ, ISTJ, ISTP, yea this place is for you. Away from Valley Blvd. But the three stars is for the drinks, this being my 1st time here, not a fan of the matcha latte.
My NEW! Favorite Boba Spot in the City of Rosemead! I ordered my self a Pandan Milk Drink and my goodness it was so gooood!!! It's definitely a Must-Try! The service was just phenomenal and efficient and friendly with their customers helping them if they ever need help on what to try out. The ambiance was amazing and cozy because it was at night time and wasn't too crazy there. I would definitely come back here if need be and am thirsty
Came here to do some work & I ordered a sweet corn latte w/ no sugar. It was sooooo yummy, I love corn and the creamy corn top was perfect with my coffee, (5/5) would totally get again! I don't prefer my drinks too sweet so this was great bc I listened to the other reviews of reducing the sugar level bc they typically make it on the sweeter side. My drink came out quick within a few minutes. This place is nice for locking in to do work with outlets where their tables are which is perfect!
I dropped by to check out this place after hearing that their matcha was pretty good, and it definitely didn't disappoint!! I will be coming back to try the rest of their options! I ordered the Matcha Cold Whisk that comes with oat milk, and it was deliciously creamy and so so smooth!! I do wish that I ordered 75% or 50% sweetness considering how intense the sweet cream was, but as for matcha flavor, it wasn't gritty or grassy at all. If you're someone who prefers less sweet, definitely request to tone down the sugar levels. Their interior is spacious and quiet, perfect for a study spot.
Good study cafe in the SGV! There's a lot of tables that are spaced out well, charging outlets, and they'll let you borrow an extension cable if needed. The drinks are just ok. I wouldn't come here just for the drinks. Come for the tables, the WiFi, the chill space to work. Drinks we ordered: Watermelon green tea 50% sweet -- very bland, just good for hydration Lychee green tea 50% sweet-- good sweetness, canned lychees, good to sip on but not amazing you know? Corn coffee-- we didn't like this Previously I've ordered the matcha coconut (that's pretty good) and cookies and creme coffee (VERY strong and sweet) There's a parking lot in the back. It looks like the entrance to a residential apartment but you can park on the ground floor (first floor when you enter) for free.
This spot has a nice, modern interior. They have different seating choices strewn throughout the shop. There is also the choice of street parking or a small indoor parking lot. We got the matcha einspanner. It's yummy, but we did notice there was quite a bit more cream than drinkable liquid/milk. I would come back, but request less cream next time! We ordered with the self-serve kiosk, so we don't have any particular comments on the service.
Great parking spaces, plenty of tables and seating, and great variety of tea overall. Great place to do laptop work or catch up with a friend. One tap monitor machine and one cashier machine. Wax Berry Frostie (50% sweet, mini boba): Honestly, I would consider lowering the sweetness down to 0% or 25% because once the ice melts the sweetness reaches to 100%. Great refreshing berry smooth with a top coating of foam yogurt. Matcha Banana Pudding (50% sweet): Matcha is very light, there's not a lot of the green tea flavor. The banana pudding is also light and fluffy however it's not going sweeten the drink overall because it acts more like topping to eat instead of mix and drink.

Lots of drinks on the menu and they are promoting a new ceremonial matcha series. Can see them whisking matching in the back but has a bitterness I didn't like on my first sips. Once mixed the other flavors took over the drink. The sweet corn matcha had a fresh corn flavor which was delicious and didn't taste like the artificial corn. The banana pudding matcha had good banana flavor and pudding consistency. The pandan flavoring was too strong. Quiet place and plenty of seating so great for a study place. Drinks had decent syrups and flavoring but matcha was not good. They have a large selection for their menu.
Drinks were decent! The watermelon was refreshing and well blended. The matcha was a miss (especially if you tend to drink matcha from coffee shops). The service was great, you could either order via kiosk or with the worker. The seating area was very large, perfect for studying or working. There are outlets against the wall and WiFi!
So unfortunate that this boba shop is closing down very soon. I have been visiting ever since it first opened and really like some of the drinks here. The coconut ice cream milk tea is a unique and delicious drink. Another standout drink is the matcha frostie with creme brulee. I have never had a bad drink from this place. The menu here is very huge, maybe even too huge. There are so many drinks you could possibly order, ranging from milk teas to fruit teas to slushies to coffees and a lot more. I think it would be better if they focused on a smaller menu with some really good specialty drinks. Nevertheless, I will miss this boba shop. read more
I ordered the Pandan Milk Drink ($5.99 - 50% Sweetness - Regular Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 80 cents). It arrived sugary with a strong vanilla, nut flavor. Unfortunately, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted funky. Some pearls had the flavor of soap. "Gross!!" I arrived at YOTEA (Rosemead) on Monday (around 12:16PM). Parking is simple if familiar with the area. There's a rear parking garage for customers. Staff is unmemorable and awkward. When I mentioned they mixed old and new menus together which displayed incorrect prices, Staff seemed amused and let them stay mixed. Staff avoided customer interaction whenever possible. The drink took two minutes and 10 seconds. Quick time. The Pandan Milk Drink ($5.99 - 50% Sweetness - Regular Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 80 cents) tasted artificial. It had a strong "candy milk taste," and it glowed a neon green when stirred. The first sip was pleasant, but as I continued to drink, the taste became more off-putting. Next, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted inconsistent. Some tasted perfectly fine, but others had the flavor of dishwater and gloop. I was tempted to throw it into the garbage can. Concerning ambiance, YOTEA (Rosemead) has potential. Ignoring the cobweb underneath one table & the somewhat old furniture, there's utility. This location has about 10 electrical outlets. Wow! There's also customer internet with password; the internet information is taped onto the black register. There's also a customer gender neutral restroom. YOTEA (Rosemead) is also very spacious. The ceiling is very tall, and there's many spots to sit. There's about 16 tables!! If desperate for a study/work spot, this is a decent choice. There's also upbeat, smooth music. Overall, I had a disappointing experience at YOTEA (Rosemead). There's utility and potential, but this business feels old and unmaintained. Rather than clean, Staff just chattered amongst themselves. Yotea is located on Garvey Ave, right next door to Chubby Smoke with (free) street parking. There is also a covered lot available behind this tea house. My husband and I decided to check out this tea house on a Sunday afternoon. After browsing the menu, we ended up ordering: Four Season Cheese Tea, $5.50- I ordered this drink to be made with no ice and 50% sweetener. I opted for a cheese foam tea beverage. I thought this drink was good. The tea was smooth and made perfectly, not over steeped and just made right. The sweetness level was good for me. Roasted Oolong Milk Tea, $5.50- My husband also had his drink requested to be made with no ice and 50% sweetener. My husband thought his drink was good. --------------------------- (Total= $11, tax included) After we ordered, our drinks were ready about 6 minutes later. There is definitely a lot of seating inside this tea house and a lot of space in general. There are also outlets on the walls and we saw numerous of people working on their laptops while we were here. This tea house is definitely a good place to meet a friend for some tea. The menu is quite vast (there is also coffee options as well) and pricing is pretty fair and reasonable for San Gabriel Valley. Would come back here again. read more

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MATCHA DRINKS I'VE EVER PAID FOR !! YOTEA BANANA PUDDING MATCHA LATTE !!! Highly recommend. I was really full after it ! It is a thick drink felt more like a dessert. 10/10 Creamy, strong matcha taste and delicious flavourful banana dessert on top!! I looked at their other drinks, and there were lots of interesting ones too like bayberry juice drinks that you don't see often. Service was quick and prompt. Clean environment. LARGE ENOUGH space to have big groups there. read more
I've tried several drinks here, and the milk coffee and egg coffee are my top favorites. I usually get 25% sweetness with light ice since the condensed milk can make the drinks a little sweet, but everything is customizable. For the pandan coffee specifically, I'd recommend 0% sweetness because it's naturally very sweet. The staff is always friendly, and the cafe is extremely spacious with plenty of seating which is great for studying or hanging out. Definitely my favorite coffee spots. read more
Banana pudding matcha latte: 3/5 The presentation and banana pudding were absolutely delightful! I was only disappointed by the consistency of the drink. I was expecting more of a milky/creamy base since it's supposed to be a latte. But the base of the drink was very watery and tasted more like green tea to me. I had mine with soy milk. 75% sweetness was perfect for me. I was hoping they would be similar to Okayama kobo's banana creme matcha latte since Yotea is way closer to me. I highly recommend Yotea to be the next place you study/do laptop work at. There is quiet music playing in background and outlets near tables. They also offer outlet extension cords if you need it. On a Monday afternoon, they were not busy and many seating. Lots of street parking too. Ordering is through staff or with the self order kiosk next to the cashier. The wifi password is on a white rectangular paper near the cashier area. read more
This boba spot is right next to a smoke shop and dance studio. There's street parking right in front. It's a pretty big space with lots of tables and seating. While we were there, there two people on their laptops while drinking their tea/boba. When we first arrived, we weren't greeted and the two male workers who were at the front didn't even look up or make eye contact with us. However, when some people they knew came in, their energy and service were much better. That was a little disappointing to witness. I ordered a dragonfruit tea with boba which was just okay. There was dragonfruit added but there was no hint of the flavor in the drink. My husband thought his drink was just okay as well. read more
Ah i was so excited to try yotea's banana matcha but was disappointed. I ordered online and picked up. Drinks were ready in time and they have a parking lot in the back so it's easy to swing in a pick up. Some reviews mentioned this and I should have listened: the picture of the banana matcha doesn't really look like the actual drink. It is more matcha than banana pudding and because there isn't a lot of the banana, the drink becomes very thin. I also ordered the egg coffee and did enjoy that - it was creamy and not too sweet but also not too bitter - though the biscotti they gave tasted lowkey stale. Banana matcha: 2.5 Egg Coffee: 4 They have so many drinks so I might be back to get something else. read more
Egg coffee and milk with boba. There aren't too many non caffeinated options and the boba we got was hard. It was roughly midday but the boba we got had the texture of boba that had been sitting around for a while. Appreciate the options of adjusting ice/sweetness level and the customer service was nice. If you're into matcha, you have to try the banana pudding matcha latte here. I'm obsessed. It's not too sweet, no fake flavored syrup!! just real matcha with a layer of banana pudding on top. You can eat the pudding separately or mix it in, both ways taste amazing. We also got the lychee green tea and it was super refreshing. There's a whole bunch of other drinks I wanna try (egg coffee and wax berry drinks) so I'll definitely be back. Now the vibe, honestly, I'm so happy we finally have a nice spot like this in the neighborhood. There's a good amount of seating, some regular tables and some fun camping-style chairs. It feels spacious and relaxed. Parking around here is easy too. Prices are way better compared to some drink spots considering the quality . It does get busy on the weekends, but it still feels chill. I really hope this place sticks around, it is a good cafe with legit drinks and a comfy atmosphere. Tried their matcha and it was a hard pass. We ordered different types of matcha drinks and didn't enjoy them as much as expected. They said it was ceremonial, but it didn't taste like it. You can also tell by the color, and it was a bit grainy. The cold foam, however, was good. I would come back to try their coffees or milk teas. There's plenty of seating inside and ample street parking. Service was fast, and ordering is easy via kiosk. read more

Inside is pretty spacious with a decent amount of tables. I did see a few people in there studying but I'm not sure how the wifi is as I was just grabbing a quick drink before going into the dance studio next door. I got the wintermelon milk tea. You can definitely taste the tea but it isn't overpowering which is something I run into a lot with this drink. For the size, the price is pretty good compared to other boba places. read more
This place is a great shop for Vietnamese coffee lovers! I tried the Egg Vietnamese Coffee, and it was creamy and packed with enough caffeine to keep me energized all day. I also gave the Durian Vietnamese Coffee a shot, and wow, I enjoyed it just as much! The durian flavor is not too strong and blends well with the durian ice cream they use here. The space is modern, spacious, and good for hanging out with friends or working on your laptop. Ordering is easy, and the friendly staff made sure our giant group order was handled quickly too even with constant line at the cashier! read more
Came with some friends on a Friday before noon, and the place was fairly empty. Service was quick, and there was plenty of seating. Parking is available on some of the side streets. The shop itself is pretty big and quiet, so it's a great option for studying or getting some work done. We got the jasmine milk tea, pandan milk drink, and pandan milk coffee. Decided on normal sweetness for the jasmine milk tea and it was perfect + you still get that floral tea taste. My friend said the sweetness of the pandan in the pandan milk coffee balanced the bitterness of the viet coffee. read more

I tried the Ube Coffee, Durian Coffee, Brown Sugar Milk tea, and the Mango Yakult & it wasn't short of any flavor. It was all sooo good! I would highly recommend the Ube coffee. The coffee is strong! was skeptical from the bad reviews but it was pretty good in my visit. I got Yo Fruit Tea with 25% sweet on mine but it was still too sweet for me so I would recommend 0% for people who want a bit less sweet in their drinks. They do add a lot of toppings so the drinks look fun and taste good. it IS a bit too pricy imo but the teas were fine. Place is spacy, lots of seating and have free wifi and outlets for charging too. For food, they had 3 different kinds of croissants: ham and cheese, chocolate and pork sung and a few little snacks as a food option. For service, I waited for about 5 minutes for my drink! The ambiance is pretty loud just due to their blending of drinks and making some items. At least when I went, different parties were loud. I got Ube coconut with 50% sugar and less ice! I liked the creaminess of the ube cream and the coconut water was super refreshing. With the combination of ube cream and coconut water, the drink tastes very tropical and creamy! TIP: There's a variety of tables; however, some of the chairs have like small hiking chairs as seats. There are a few spots with outlets to charge your device. There is a restroom, but today, the restroom is out of order. For parking, you can park on the street or you can park in the garage! The entrance would be at Earle Ave! read more

This place if so good and will def by my go-to spot in the SGV area! I ordered the banana matcha latte and the sweet corn matcha latte. The banana matcha latte has this puffin on top with cookie crumbs which was a good balance of sweetness and banana flavor. It was really good when you mix it with the matcha drink bc it sweetens it up slightly and has a great texture. I personally lovedddd the sweet corn latte. The matcha in this drink was more thick and had a different consistency. The corn flavor was there but not too over powering. Together it was so good. The place was super clean a surprisingly it's a big layout inside with a god amount of seating! I like that you can also order on a screen bad because it gives you time to adjust your drink and really see the whole menu. The service was fast and efficient we got our drinks shortly after. read more
Drinks were really really tasty! Great place to study! Out of all the banana pudding matchas I've tried, this one is definitely top of the list. The banana pudding itself tasted so authentic, with the freshly sliced bananas and nilla wafers on top! Mix the pudding with the matcha and it's a 10/10 chef's kiss. The white peach tea cheese was also super refreshing! It had that nice balance of sweet and savory so it was hard not to drink it all at once. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty crowded, lively, and the many tables they had were all full. We waited around for about five minutes after getting drinks and a table became open! Bathroom was unfortunately unavailable, but still a great place to catch up with friends or study! read more

What We Ordered: -Egg Coffee $5.99 I was looking for a local spot for tea and came across YoTea. My wife likes drinking milk tea a lot. So we were looking for another place to check out. We went right when they were open. It's in a large space with lot's of seating to relax and enjoy your tea. We've always had a thing for Vietnamese coffee, every since we went to Vietnam. It's hard to resist being able to order Egg Coffee as it's not so easy to find. If anyone knows any good spots, please DM me! Vietnamese Coffee is famously strong and bitter, but the sugar in the condensed milk should help to balance out the bitterness. My wife doesn't like ice in her drink. I don't know if that affects the flavor since it doesn't water down the drink. We felt like the Vietnamese Coffee was too bitter. The coffee also comes with a cookie. That was cute touch! The pictures we saw online had a very different design than what we got. The cups online were very cute looking picture and we got one with some simple writing on it. I personally don't care about it, but the wife commented on it. Seemed very different! The main thing which stood out to be was the difference color of the Egg Coffee was much darker than the pictures on Yelp and on their website as well. Seems a bit misleading! I'm going to make an educated guess and speculate that maybe the employees didn't know how to make it properly as you can see in our pictures below the Egg Coffee looks very different than the one in the picture. Came here after a long day of work and was excited to try some tea! They have changed their furniture a bit and added more, but it's still very spacious! Bonus points for ambiance with Kpop in the background while chilling. If you're okay with sound while studying, I think it's great especially since lighting is bright as well~ I'm always welcomed with a smile when I come here. Workers here always give good recommendations and it's one of the only places I don't feel terrified to try new menu items. Parking is still meh as always and you have to be careful while leaving the structure in the back (especially if you're a low car) Would def come again per usual. Btw, WiFi password can be found near cashier if you do need it! read more
