Ate here on Thursday, nice setting and our waitress was very nice and a native of Florida. They have a wide selection of lunch choices. My wife went with the tacos and I had the cheese steak burrito. My wife enjoyed her flavorful tacos along her rice and beans. My burrito was filled with ingredients. Very tasty, little was left on the plate. There is a lot of construction in the mall so it's tough to see from the street and navigate the parking lot but is worth finding. It's in the old Good Times Diner location. They have been open for 4 months. We went with 2 other couples and were seated immediately at 5:30. They take reservations but we didn't have one. By the time we left, restaurant was full but no line. The service was great. Margaritas were excellent, fresh, not syrupy. Atmosphere is nice. A bar area and an adjacent dining room. Booths were new and comfortable. The food arrived quickly and was excellent. Tasty but not overly spicy. Our waitress was attentive. Best part is it didn't break the bank. We had lunch here today for the 1st time, my hubby was very skeptical because he has a favorite Mexican restaurant in another town. We were seated quickly and were brought chips and salsa to munch while we decided our food. Our server brought drinks out right away. I ordered a taco, enchilada,chalupa and rice and beans. My husband got the steak fajitas with rice and beans. We both enjoyed our food very much! Everything was perfect. Our server was very attentive. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Food was absolutely amazing! When we got our check we noticed we were charged 2 cheese dip charges-equaling $19 FOR CHEESE DIP! When we asked our server she told us that it was correct. We asked to speak with the manager. She came back and told us that the manager was too busy but they could change it to $15 which is still insane for cheese dip. Idk if I will be back after this service. There is nobody but us and 1 other table so I'm not sure how the manager was "too busy to speak with us". Very positive experience. Clean (workers swept up as soon as customers left) bright restaurant that used to be Good Times Diner. Not busy, maybe because it was Sunday night and construction of the new Publix in the strip mall makes it hard to see and get to. Extensive menu, as usual, but with some different options. The El J Alhambre I had was like a fajita with chicken, beef, shrimp, bacon and veggies. It was delicious, with bacon putting it over the top. Husband's veggie fajita was tasty and not filled with broccoli as some are. Margaritas are 2/1 so we had 4 for $27. Excellent service from Elizabeth. We'll go back. read more

Food was excellent but the margaritas were just not it... I hope they can figure out a better recipe. Tried the top shelf figuring that paying the big bucks gets you a tasty drink but it was sour, couldn't taste the tequila at all and it doesn't even come with gran marnier or cointreau for $16. And the fry guy petrified the kids chicken nuggets but somehow had soggy fries with two attempts. read more

I've been here before. As always the food is delicious, the margaritas, not so much. First time I had a house margarita, meh... last night I ordered a "specialty" margarita. It was so sour it was barely drinkable. So instead of sending back, we ordered a shot of orange liquor. It did make it drinkable. When we got the bill, the margarita was 16.00 plus they charged 9.00 for the shot. WHAT? Need to rethink your margarita menu.... read more

My husband and I ate here on New Years Eve. We were seated immediately & our server greeted us promptly with warm chips and fresh salsa. We started with the 2 margarita special - 1 traditional lime & 1 mango, both on the rocks. They were outstanding! For our entrees, I ordered the Mexican Lasagna & my husband ordered the "Fluffy" Tacos - El Pastor. Both dinners were amazing! We each enjoyed a second margarita. We were very impressed with both the food & the service. This restaurant is new, well decorated and a great addition to our Englewood community. we look forward to becoming frequent diners here! read more
