This is how it's advertised on line. I called and asked so this is a full tray and it was but a tray there means half tray?!?!? misleading!!

ordered catering for my daughters graduation party and what they label as a "tray of meat" is really a half tray for $120 ! menu says half trays but then they advertise for a tray of meat and a half trays. very misleading. I spent double the amount of money than I budgeted for and had to quickly order more an hour before the party started. very disappointing

Welcome to the neighborhood El Limon!

November 21st, 2020. The day I found out my favorite restaurant moved into my neighborhood. My wife and I loved Daraya and were really sad to see it close, but couldn't be happier that El Limon took its place. We had about half the menu in our first two visits just to see if they're up to the El Limon standard that we've come to know and love from the Conshohocken, Ambler, Norristown, and Ardmore locations. They did not disappoint. Literally anything you get that has their amazing meats on or in it is a guaranteed success. Carnitas sopes have always been our first love and they met every expectation. The alambre is the best thing you may have never tried. I recommend carnitas and chorizo in it. Tamales are something I never liked at other Mexican restaurants, but even those are tasty when they're stuffed with El Limon's tinga or carnitas. I recommend topping with salsa verde or pico. The cubana torta is unbelievable. Every delicious thing you can hope for on one sandwich, topped with an egg. Wow. For desserts, I recommend them in this order: flan, tres leches, and churros. Flan is another item that has a bad rap for most people but what El Limon does with it seems miraculous. It's one of my favorite desserts in the world now. A must try. The churros are pretty standard, but the chocolate to dip in is a great touch. I hope this place thrives. The takeout orders are flying out the door when I've been there. My wife and I have joked that we should become franchisees to open one by us. Our dreams came true. Couldn't be happier to have them in the neighborhood. Come out and support amazing Mexican food!

This place is so cute! Good food, no wait for seating. And free margaritas! We tried tacos, quesadillas, tamale, and chips and guac. We sat outside and it was really cute and pet friendly. The free margarita was yummy and then we tried the tre leche cake which was also really good. Our waitress was nice but the service was super slow. I think she was really busy, but we watched other tables come and go. We weren't in a rush but that's the only negative I can say about the place. Also, the prices were really reasonable.

Place was busy! Isn't that a good sign though? Kid got the shrimp tacos with red sauce (loved them), wife got the tortilla salad with tinga. I got a burrito with mole sauce. We got the churros for dessert. Everything was wonderful! Red sauce was spicy as was the mole sauce. We did take out so not sure how the service is but they have free margaritas!

Me and a buddy stopped in for a lunch. The outdoor seating is really nice and the waitress was pleasant and attentive. The salsa , guacamole and chips were tasty . The al pastor tacos absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken burrito was okay. My three stars comes because the burrito did not have enough chicken in it for my liking But, I will be back and try something different.

I ordered here today for a birthday. Paid for supreme vegetable tacos but got regular vegetable tacos even tho I paid for the supreme. My daughter ordered a burrito and said leave off the meat. All she got was rice with a tiny bit of lettuce and two diced of tomato. She said it was so dry. I'll try this place one more time, check my order before leaving (placed order over phone and picked it up) and I hope they will deliver what I order.

Guac was horrible had bell peppers in it and no jalapeños? Margaritas tasted like water. Took 30 min to get when they had no customers.

Every dish tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Service was fabulous! Started with their house-made guacamole & pico de gallo, which were both super fresh and the perfect way to kick things off. I also tried the elote, which was packed with flavor, and the fish taco, which was light, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The King Taco was another standout, and I really loved the queso birria taco; so rich, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a great birria taco. And you can't leave without trying their horchata, which was the perfect refreshing drink to go with all the food. I also had the opportunity to try their Baja fish taco which was another stand out for me! The fish was light, the Baja sauce was so flavorful and delish! What makes this spot even more unique is that their locations are actually inside QuickStop gas station market, which makes it such an unexpected gem. Their first location started near the King of Prussia area, and they now have a few locations in the area; including this one in Collegeville. Just goes to show that sometimes the best food can come from the most unexpected places. If you see El Gordo Bros while you're stopping at QuickStop... trust me, it's worth it.

Situated on a small main ave plot, with adequate parking and a stones throw away from the perkiomen trail, el Gordo bros provides the fuel you need for a quick pick me up, a burst of energy or a drunken stomach screaming for nutrition on a late night. And don't get me wrong, this is more than just your standard hangover preventing college fare; this is quality food at a price that even mass market fast food eateries (chipotle? Taco Bell? Heck even McDonald's) can't compete with. Made with love, curated to make your taste buds do the cha cha, el Gordo bros is on my save save save list!

I have been so committed and come back again and again with high hopes they will redeem themselves but it's like comical at this point. On numerous encounters they have been bothered by taking my order or annoyed when I ask for the sauce and chips. Cause sometimes they serve them and others times they don't?? Which is weird so I asked and they told me no to more sauce ,and I said I would pay for more and they said I can only have one. Also we came in to sit down once, and the lady was like "do you want menus" which was strange cause how are we gonna order lol? Lastly, I have ordered on DoorDash and the meals are NEVER ready. I have waited 1 hour for my meal to be made once. Then today was actually insane. I ordered, it wasn't ready, I told them the order and they only gave me half the items. Then I asked them to make the rest. They did but forgot the chips. So I was like can I have the chips please. And she was like they are in the first bag and I was like no you only gave me the sauce. And she was like no you can't have chips, and I was like what? And she was like we don't have any chips. But she literally just told me she put chips in the FIRST bag! My mind was blown cause I was the only customer in the store so chips were not given to anyone between the time she "placed" them in my first bag. Upon leaving she said to a coworker "ohh now she wants chips!". I just wanted my order:( Once I got home, the burrito was made wrong:( which happens probably 80% of the time I order. Worst part is I keep going back and want to give them business. Like I tip and I want to give them my money, but sadly this might be the last visit. Like idk it's so frustrating, I need to find another location cause it's too much. Good food though when you actually get it/when it's made right.

I got a chicken quesadilla that was so greasy there was oil dripping from it, and it was almost too soggy to pick up. An empanada had only cheese inside of it - no meat, no seasonings, just dough and cheese. When I broke it open, the oil literally poured out of it. It was inedible, along with the "sauce" it came with that had the taste and texture of unsalted, watered-down tomato juice. I was able to eat a quarter of my quesadilla by sopping up the oil with paper towels and browning it in a frying pan. The rest was thrown away. My son had a burrito, and it too dripped oil as he ate it. For the money, I could have made everything better tasting and fed us and my neighbors. Just terrible.
