I am so sad to write this cause I am truly obsessed with this place and love their food. Never had a bad meal. However, the service is terrible. -5/10, like so bad. I have been so committed and come back again and again with high hopes they will redeem themselves but it's like comical at this point. On numerous encounters they have been bothered by taking my order or annoyed when I ask for the sauce and chips. Cause sometimes they serve them and others times they don't?? Which is weird so I asked and they told me no to more sauce ,and I said I would pay for more and they said I can only have one. Also we came in to sit down once, and the lady was like "do you want menus" which was strange cause how are we gonna order lol? Lastly, I have ordered on DoorDash and the meals are NEVER ready. I have waited 1 hour for my meal to be made once. Then today was actually insane. I ordered, it wasn't ready, I told them the order and they only gave me half the items. Then I asked them to make the rest. They did but forgot the chips. So I was like can I have the chips please. And she was like they are in the first bag and I was like no you only gave me the sauce. And she was like no you can't have chips, and I was like what? And she was like we don't have any chips. But she literally just told me she put chips in the FIRST bag! My mind was blown cause I was the only customer in the store so chips were not given to anyone between the time she "placed" them in my first bag. Upon leaving she said to a coworker "ohh now she wants chips!". I just wanted my order:( Once I got home, the burrito was made wrong:( which happens probably 80% of the time I order. Worst part is I keep going back and want to give them business. Like I tip and I want to give them my money, but sadly this might be the last visit. Completely and utterly disappointed. We typically get good food from this location. Tonight made me think we will never order again. I got a chicken quesadilla that was so greasy there was oil dripping from it, and it was almost too soggy to pick up. An empanada had only cheese inside of it - no meat, no seasonings, just dough and cheese. When I broke it open, the oil literally poured out of it. It was inedible, along with the "sauce" it came with that had the taste and texture of unsalted, watered-down tomato juice. I was able to eat a quarter of my quesadilla by sopping up the oil with paper towels and browning it in a frying pan. The rest was thrown away. My son had a burrito, and it too dripped oil as he ate it. For the money, I could have made everything better tasting and fed us and my neighbors. Just terrible.​ read more

Never again... While the food was good, the service is something short of poor. Spent the better part of $150 in the course of a week, with one meal being $90 (dinner for four) and 3BG thought it was sufficient to provide one small bag of tortilla chips with the order. What's more, when the err of their ways was brought to their attention they decided to die on that hill by suggesting an additional bag or larger amount would come with a cost. What they didn't know, was it was the cost of my business. So many other options around, including Avocado which isn't just better value for money, but the customer service is top notch. We were with friends and ordered delivery from here for dinner, and wow is there a lot of food! I ordered a few tacos - two Frank's tacos (one shrimp, one fish), and an al pastor Super Taco. The Frank's tacos were fried and covered in some delicious sauce, so those were really good. Super Taco maybe didn't travel well, and I don't think I'd get that one again. I also tried some of the side dishes we'd ordered to share, such as the ceviche. Everything tasted pretty good overall, and I'd be down to order from there again. read more

Finally!!! An authentic Mexican restaurant with plentiful, affordable options. I am so happy that they opened a location near Collegeville. The positives: an expansive menu with authentic food. I ordered three different tacos. A fish taco, shrimp taco, and bbq pork. The bbq pork was my favorite. It was authentically prepared, on two corn tortillas, onions and cilantro. Absolutely delicious. The fish and shrimp tacos had great flavor. They were not dry. These were served on a larger, flour tortilla. The pico made this taco run with a lot of juices. It was messy, but tasty nonetheless. My boyfriend had the chimichanga which was great. Golden and crispy on the outside, and cheesy and chewy on the inside. You could tell the beans were authentic. The food itself was not overly salty, which is definitely an anomaly for Mexican restaurants. Another bonus, they have a water container so you can go up as needed for cold water, instead of asking the server. We ordered a strawberry churro as well as a regular churro. The strawberry was my favorite. The churro came with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces. There was barely any sauce though, it was put directly on the plate. It should have been put in a container for dipping. It felt like they were being stingy. Also, the complimentary chips served at the beginning were a little too salty. The salsa it comes with is amazing, but again not enough for even 1 person. The amount they give also feels like they are being stingy. We opted to eat inside, and it was very warm in there because it's small, and you are basically eating next to the grill. Just an FYI. Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu!!! read more

We ate here last night. Really really tasty! We had eaten at the Pottstown location a few weeks ago and decidid to try this one since it is closer to home. They have a large variety on the menu and some things available not on the menu. I tried an Empanada filled with pork and cheese. OH MY GOD! The dough is freshly made and they used the pork from the schwarama rotisserie to fill it. Amazingly good. I had a platter for dinner that had a Chile Relleno, a Tamale, and a Carnitas Taco. All were very good! I also had a Shrimp Taco just to try it. This was another AMAZINGLY GOOD TACO! I would dare to say that this Shrimp Taco could have been the Best Taco Ever! Anne had a Beef Burrito that was pretty damn good, too! We tried the Churros...one plain and one strawberry...very nice. Everything here was made to order and prepared with care. My husband, a known star low-baller hails this place as a 5, so here we are. And I agree. It might not look like it, but there is waitress service. There weren't a TON of tables, but plenty of space to eat in peace. You'll get some free chips and salsa--certainly not a ton, but they will refill them if you ask--while you scan the ample menu. The food is great and the service was just fine. My husband has sampled a ton of chorizo and he said it was fantastic. The fajitas were very tasty (chicken well-seasoned/cooked), and my son's chicken quesadilla was yummy. There were a ton of take out orders which made me happy because there were only two other parties sitting. The large soda was massive so unless you're and addict, I'd say refrain from that big guy! We're looking forward to coming back. There was an odd situation about a delivery person for a food company who hit a truck on his way out of the parking lot and fled the scene (male in white van apparently). Two patrons told the young waitress and she wasn't sure how to handle it. The owners seemed to be in the dark about the situation and the patrons who witnessed the incident left essentially throwing their hands up in frustration about no action being taken. Several folks started raving about this place so was excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, left disappointed. First off, it's a pretty small place with maybe a dozen tables. Food was just OK but felt the prices were pretty high for Mexican. Most entrees were in the $15 range. I got the combo platter with an enchilada and a Flauta, which was $8 and came with rice, beans, and a soda, but my wife's Flautas plate, which came with rice and beans and 3 Flautas, was $14. Don't understand the difference in price between these two. Guac was not good at all. My enchilada and Flauta was OK but my wife didn't really like it at all. They also have two cup sizes at their self-service soda machine and the larger cup is evidently $4. Not sure why they have multiple sizes when you can just go up and get a refill. Service was friendly. For a family of four, bill came to over $60. Doubt we'll be back. read more

The food is incredible; however, they've been off their game the last few times we ordered here. Either they're training new staff or they're training program for new hires needs improvement. The last few times we've ordered, our wait time for food had gotten worse and our orders were incorrect. Wait time: The first night we were told that the food would be ready in 25-30. Upon arriving during that time, we were informed that they hadn't begun preparing our food, so that resulted with an additional 10 minute wait. The same thing occurred on second visit later that week, however that additional wait time was 15 minutes. Wrong order: When we brought our order home one of the topping on one of the dishes wasn't on (no big deal) but one of our orders was completely incorrect. I called to make them aware and they said to just mention it the next time we order. The next time we went, we were missing an order and got another item instead. I honestly think someone had packed the wrong order in our bag. They usually pack utensils and a bag of chips in each order and are very consistent about that, but that didn't occur on this night either. I really LOVE the food at this place, but the service has become inconsistent the last few months that we've been there. "You've lost that loving feeling". Management have lost touch and the family care of service has gone. It's now past 6 40 pm and the six tacos we ordered at the counter before 6pm is still not ready. Two tables of people who ordered eat in food 10 minutes after us received their food, ate, paid and have left. This used to be a great family run place but management have over expanded and lost touch with what is going on in their multiple locations. Disappointing and awful uncaring service that showed they don't care anymore. We were not alone with disappointmemt in the service. Our advice: order ahead like you are going to eat in and then tip when you pay after you have received your food. Bring back the love to your places before you expand again and become a former local franchise that could have been great. read more

The queso made Tostitos queso seem gourmet and the chicken was dry and old. My entire family thought their meal was horrendous which never happens. I'm so glad this place moved in! Vegetarian options, Crispy Chimichangas and Awesome Nachos. Their opening day was a little nuts with long waits and overcrowding but the staff was very friendly and obviously were trying their best for a smooth customer experience. Came here expecting some good local Mexican food, left disappointed. The service could've been better, as our waitress gave us our food then disappeared for more than 30 minutes and had us have to go up and ask for the check. I asked for no cilantro on my taco, but it was covered in cilantro when I got it. Since this is a Mexican restaurant, I can't really knock them for that. The food was the most disappointing part. I got the enchilada and taco combo platter, which came with rice and beans. While the portion size was amazing, I could not say the same for my actual food. The beef inside my enchilada was burnt, and the entire thing was under a thick layer of greasy cheese. The fish inside my taco was so bland that if I hadn't known it was fish, it could've been anything. The rice and beans were fine but not enough to save my meal. While the meal and service were not that great, this restaurant has a great interior design and portions. read more

Heard rave reviews about this place and figured I'd give it a try. It's a smaller restaurant with a nice BYOB option. The menu is large and there is a lot to choose from. I have three main issues here. 1) A majority of the menu items are $15+ which is wayyy overpriced for a Taqueria. 2) The Chorizo had legitimately ZERO spice or bite to it. 3) I ordered the Carnitas and Pastor and was highly disappointed in the amount of fat. Every other bite felt like I was eating a jello shot due to the fat content. I gave two stars because the employees were very friendly and the establishment was clean. read more
