Standard Mexican menu. Food came out QUICKLY as it does at most Mexican spots. Seasoning was a little lacking on my chimichanga meal, but it was okay. Great prices.

The food was good. The Ensalada Texana was enough to feed 3! Yummy. But the dressing came in a pouch without any "Mexican" flavor options. Although tasty the Hubs cheese enchilada appeared to be made with string cheese sticks. And the plates had large chips on them. The service was adequate but we had to wait for the water which came with the cocktail. It took two requests to get guacamole, when it came out, it was less than 1/4 c for $2.50! We frequently eat here & will do so again, but this visit left something to be desired.

I had mixed feelings about eating here after reading the reviews. I agree with the negative reviews I'm afraid. If you eat Mexican from multiple places and you love Mexican food this is not good food. If you never eat Mexican and think of it as fast food Mexican is is good food. I eat a lot of Mexican food everywhere I go. Anytime I find a New Mexican restaurant I try it. I always get the same thing. The first reason is because I love chicken fajitas. The second reason is it gives me a good comparison to the flavor of the food from the previous place that I've eaten. The food here the chicken looked like it went through some kind of food chopper. It is hard to tell from the picture. I have never seen such chopped up chicken at any restaurant I've ever eaten. It was not cooked to order which is probably why it lacked flavor. It was brought out within 4 minutes of ordering. It lacked flavor of any kind. I had to add salsa to my fajita to try and add some flavor. The beans were okay. The rice was underwhelming. They also only gave two tortillas and for fajitas you should give three in my opinion. Without pico, sour cream and guacamole it had no way to add flavor. The bathroom was rundown, but clean enough. When I go to a restaurant, I always ask myself a question would I return. With this place the answer is no. However, I am not mad at this place because they have their food appropriately priced for the lack of flavor that it provides.

This was my first time to eat at El Mariachi. I had the carnitas and they were the best tasting carnitas that I have ever had. I look forward to returning for more, or maybe something different. The service was slow and their business was brisk. Their chips and salsa had a good taste. This place becomes very busy at night so you may want to stop here in the afternoon, if possible. They aslo have generous selection at their bar, if you are more into a liquid diet. My favorite Mexican restaurant was Picante's in Chantilly, but they closed so I had to move on.

In town for work and got a referral from our client. Drinks were excellent. Ordered Tacos Al Pastor. They were very good, flavorful and reminiscent of old Mexico. Highlight of the evening was our waitress, Sky. She was hospitable and very attentive to our needs. Sky was awesome.

Taco Tuesday was a success! My husband and I stopped in and grabbed the wheel of tacos to split. Each and every taco was incredible. It's a a little pricey but when you're splitting it as a meal it's a great price! The salsa that comes with the chips packs a little heat but I am super impressed with the place and I will be back!

The food was more than plentiful. It was seasoned very well. The service was quick and the ambiance was festive. This is definitely on my go back for seconds list!

This is particularly true for the wine program; for a venue with such a massive retail selection, the curated menu feels surprisingly stingy. I had high hopes for their Cheese Board, but unfortunately, it mirrored my general experience here: great flavors, questionable value. The Highlights: The presentation on the bamboo board is lovely. The bread was exceptionally fresh and flavorful, and the fruit accompaniments; Persimmon, guava, grapes, and strawberry, offered a bright, acidic contrast that paired well with the selections. The Letdowns: Zero Transparency: The cheeses weren't listed on the menu, and the server didn't offer any information on what was being served. Half the joy of a professional board is the "story" knowing the origins and profiles. We were left entirely in the dark. The "Bread-to-Cheese" Ratio: Most of the selections were hard cheeses, and the two soft cheeses provided were literally the size of a quarter. Every sample was sliced remarkably thin. While the bread portion was generous, there wasn't nearly enough cheese or fruit to sustain it. It felt less like a cheese service and more like a bread board with a cheese garnish. Bottom Line: The Crush Pad clearly has access to great ingredients, but the portions should be more than "tastes." I want to love this place, but the value for the price just isn't quite there.

I had just come from a hair appointment down the street and on my way back to my car, I noticed Sangria advertised on the mini sandwich board outside. I'm a HUGE fan of a glass of fruity Sangria on a hot day! The fact that it was Happy Hour with $5 glasses made it even easier to draw me inside!! When I explained this was my first visit, they explained the Curio concept, the various areas for sitting, sipping and gathering as well as the Curio Card process. They even had a small but really intriguing menu of various snacks, from charcuterie to flatbread and even dessert. The menu changes a couple times a month, making me want to plan more visits! The staff offered me sips of each so I could decide on a Sangria flavor. Despite not being a Moscato fan, I chose the Moscato Mule Sangria. It was light, refreshing and had the Moscow Mule flavors with the added sweetness of Moscato wine. I wandered into the cellar to explore more wine offerings and wound up running into fellow educators and their friends I had never met. We chatted like we were catching up and laughed about shared birthdays and teaching!! They invited me to hang with them, but I had to get home for Dog Mom Duty. We exchanged numbers so we could plan another "run-in" downtown SOON! If you haven't visited Curio, I HIGHLY recommend it. Bring a friend, or plan on making a few. Next time, I'll be ordering food with my wine and lingering much longer! Thanks for a great end to my week. See y'all soon! Cheers!

Plus I had heard great things about their Neapolitan pizza, so I was hyped to try it. Sooo bad news. The pizzas apparently weren't selling well enough, so they no longer offer them, nor will they be bringing them back in the future. They do have empanadas instead, though, which were quite tasty. I liked the margherita and the spinach ricotta. We also ordered a charcuterie plate after our server suggested it instead of the olives. Sadly it only had four olives on the plate, so we rationed. I wasn't a super huge fan of the plate, as it was heavy on crackers. I would've liked to see more variety for the price, including perhaps some fresh bread and more pickles. My boyfriend and my mom split crab fritters, and they really loved those. Between us, we purchased two wine flights and my mom had a moscato. They were out of many options, so perhaps they were in between inventory. The wines they did have were all great. I'd say overall our visit was nice. It wasn't groundbreaking by any means, and I'd be more likely to go to some of the other wine shops in the area first before returning -- but I do see a lot of potential here.
