    HUGE guacamole and cold drinks...!

We love the food, atmosphere, margaritas, and service at El Michoacano. We got guacamole, Mexican shrimp cocktail, a super burrito, and steak entree. Prices for meat are very high for restaurants as well, and the portions are generous and reasonably priced. Going out to eat costs more everywhere. If you want 3x the meat of a typical burrito, just order the steak or Chile Verde entree or pay extra for extra meat. Rice and beans are infinitely cheaper than meat, and that is why a burrito is approx. 12 dollars and an entree is more like 25 dollars.

Reasonably priced seafood with good service and generous portions. Decorated indoor and backyard, nice for photo taking. The chips are colorful with 2 salsa that are not spicy, so perfect for kids!

Mexican spot that uses processed nacho cheese instead of shredded cheese is the first red flag for me. 20 dollars for "super nachos" with steak with no steak whatsoever is another red flag. Oh well, lesson learned!! Another red flag should have been how light they felt when leaving, felt like I was just taking home a bag of chips.

I stopped here with my daughter a few years back and it left an impression on me. This place has amazingly wonderful botanas. Mouth watering. It's a must try!

Let me start by telling you this little family did an amazing job building an outdoor dining area for their customers. They have outdoor heaters and it's such a nice little place to dine!! I took my family here for dinner tonight and we were beyond satisfied with not only their customer service but their food too! I've added a few pictures below of some of the cool things they do. We ordered their Mocajete which was AMAZING and my sister got the fajitas combo. Seriously so fresh and the food quality was beyond our expectations. They had music playing in the background to set the tone and it was just an overall wonderful experience. I definitely recommend El Michocano if you'd like to get out of the house and want to enjoy some good music, great food and wonderful service. They follow all of the Covid protocols and we will definitely return

First of all on the outside this looks like your typical mexican resturant, so you would never guess that this place would serve up one of the best super burritos in the city. I work close by so I occasionally will come here for lunch. I really appreciate the free chips and salsa that come with your order. Unfortunately it's take out only at this time due to the COVID-19 debacle. So I can't say what the dine-in experience is like, but I will say the two guys that I see everytime I go in are fast and efficient with take out orders. I haven't tried everyting on their menu, but their super burrito is delicious and big. It's packed with steak, beans, rice that are creamy and textured complimenting the rest of the burrito that really put it over the top. They are generous with their servings. My burrito was great and It wont be the last time I stop by during my lunch break. Price 5/5 Quantity 5/5 Quality 5/5 Service 5/5 Atmosphere ( I will update this once they are open for dine-in) Overall they have my business and i can't wait to go back. Thank you!

I was in the neighborhood with my friends and one of them mentioned carnitas. I was sold on the idea and they recommend this place. My Father is from Michoacan so I'm used to authentic food from this region. I was super excited to get some Michoacan enchiladas but was quickly disappointed they didn't offer it, so strange! If you don't know what they are look them up! So delish. I went with the two taco lunch plate and a Mexican coke. They also don't have lengua which I like. I like that they serve warm chips with salsa( with avo!) And a side of beans. The service was good but wish they had authentic Michoacan enchiladas. I would try them out if you're craving good Mexican food!

The restaurant is located in a beautiful traditional building with a lot of character. I really enjoyed the ambiance and decor, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was busy, they were able to seat us right away. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of options. We started with the complimentary chips and salsa, which were both good. The salsa had a nice flavor, and the chips were fresh. We also ordered the nachos as an appetizer. For our entrees, I ordered Combo Plate #6, which included a chile verde burrito, a cheese enchilada, and a carne asada taco. We also ordered a carne asada taco plate with a cheese enchilada and a chimichanga. When the food arrived, the presentation was impressive, and the portions were very generous. Unfortunately, this is where our experience started to decline. The rice and beans were good, but the chile verde burrito was quite dry. The pork lacked tenderness and was overcooked. The cheese enchilada was decent, though not particularly memorable. The carne asada taco was also disappointing. While the tortilla was excellent and the meat was well-seasoned, the steak itself was very fatty and undercooked. In fact, no one at our table was able to finish their steak tacos because of the quality of the meat. The chimichanga was another letdown. It arrived covered in sauce like a wet burrito, which eliminated the crispy texture you would expect from a chimichanga. As a result, it became soggy and still somehow tasted dry inside. The highlight of the meal was definitely the nachos--simple, flavorful, and enjoyable. The service was also very good. Our server was attentive, regularly refilling our drinks and bringing additional chips without us having to ask. Overall, we really wanted to love this place because the atmosphere and service were excellent. Unfortunately, the food fell short of our expectations. I probably wouldn't return for dinner, but I would consider stopping by for happy hour, some nachos or appetizers, and to enjoy the ambiance.
