The food was SO good, fresh and service was amazing. We walked in well after the lunch hour and the place was sparkling clean!

Absolutely phenomenal food for the money. We've never had a bad meal here. It's not the best part of town but it's totally worth it.

We may have caught it on a down day, but seems like it has great potential to be a fun spot! Plenty…read moreof food options and games to go around, and a decent selection of drinks. The frozen drinks looked good but we didn't have the opportunity to try any! A bunch of cool spots to hang out in here too, and this photo is taken from the top of a bus on the property!

We were the only customers there! I had seen on-line that three food trucks would be present, but there were just two -The Gulla Grille (Brazilian) and Taste of Home (Puerto Rican). Aunties Pasta (Italian) wasn't there. The designers of Westside really need to get a lot of credit for the beautiful job they did in salvaging this forlorn corner of Hartford. The dozens of wood tables and benches were made from old recycled industrial spools, and they are really amazing. There are corn hole boards, beer pong table, Giant Jenga, Connect Four, a movie screen, a music stage, and a bar spread throughout the property so there's a ton of things to do there. I had a kebab plate from Gulla and my wife had a cheeseburger from Taste of Home. She was given one of those buzzing gizmos to tell her when her food was ready. I knew my lunch was ready when the guy flagged me down like he was hailing a cab. I love the concept of food truck courts and I suspect Westside is quite a bit busier in the evenings that it was lunch time on a holiday weekend Saturday, when we had the place to ourselves..

A selfie museum close to home that gives you the New York experience. Not too loud on the night…read morewhen I visited but there was a bar and a section for a DJ. This hidden gem is located on Market Street in Hartford right beside the 960 Main St building. It's a selfie museum and a restaurant all in one. The restaurant menu is small but there are a wide variety of options to choose from. I came for Christmas dinner with friends who were all dining for the first time. I ordered the New York strip with candied yams and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was a little bland but was still edible. It was my first time trying candied yams and it was so rich, sweet, and delicious. I had my steak well done and it was so juicy. The serving size was also pretty decent as I had leftovers for the next day. For my drink, I had the soho punch which was very tasty and fruity. To be able to take pictures I believe you have to pay for that part separately, however, based on the numbers in our party, they told us we could take pics and you know the model I am, I went around and took photos at nearly all the photo booths. Each photo station has a ring camera with a ring light which makes it perfect for taking pictures especially if you do not have anyone to take your pictures. All the others in my party also enjoyed their meals. They had jerk chicken alfredo, fried whiting fish, salmon alfredo, Buffalo chicken wings, burgers and so much more. They also do paint and aip and will be hosting a New Year's Eve brunch if you are interested.

Wait...woah. I was…read moreout on my walk and ran into Yelpers Agnes P. And Mia L. while they were at Ka-Tra-Chi-Tos (btw) and I kept an eye out for their reviews. Once I saw two 5 star reviews I headed over. First, let's talk about the name! Ktrachitos isn't only addicting to say (once you get it right), it's likened to Boriqua for Puerto Ricans but for Hondurans. This was my first time trying Honduran food and it exceeded my expectations! I got the arepa revuelta, carne asada, and the biggest mug of passion fruit juice I've ever seen. The Arepa was slightly burnt, but that's exactly how I like them. The texture was smooth and they didn't skimp on any of the beans, cheese, or chicharron inside. The carne asada was PERFECT. The steak was cooked well, lightly seasoned, and paired perfectly with everything on the plate. There was so much included from green bananas, rice, avocado, sausage, and cheese. I couldn't finish it and packed the rest to go. It was perfect the next morning. It's a laid back spot. There are Honduran flags through the restaurant, cute plants, and twinkling lights which were cute. I recommend attending with someone who speaks Spanish if you do not. My Spanish is rusty but I was still able to chat with my server a bit. I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast, but I'm a big fan already!

Wow wow wow! I think this may be my favorite new restaurant. I just ordered lunch (probably enough…read morefood for 5 people which is why my food was delivered with three sets of utensils ) I started with montucas and a pausa mixta. I had never tried montucas before but they are very similar to tamales, but the amount of meat inside was astoundingly and the size of the meat portions were insane. Especially for the price. It was delicious. I could eat fifty of them. Montucas also have chickpeas inside which was the perfect compliment to the masa and meat. I can't say enough good things. The papusas were also very good. This is the first time I've had such a crunchy, chewy papusa before. Usually I can cut them with a fork. I think I might like this texture better though! And lastly I got the carne asada. I cannot believe the portion size I got. It was ridiculous, the amount of sides and the portion sizes of those sides was also ridiculous. Everything was seasoned absolutely perfectly. The steak was amazing, the sausage was perfectly spicy, the rice and beans were tasty, the plantains were plentiful. Everything was amazing. Truly. Thank you so much Ktrachitos!
