Better off going to Taco Bell! Order was wrong! Didn't get ingredients we were charged for, the food is way overpriced for the portion size. Our order was given to the wrong person at first, perhaps you should take the persons name when ordering or give them a number, anything is better than the way they do it currently. Yummy food truck on Michigan Ave! Came here with some friends right before the homecoming game for some brunch! There were three picnic tables plenty for people to sit on. I got steak tacos and they tasted very authentic and delicious! But, It took longer to make the food than I thought it would. Will definitely come by to try other menu items. read more

For Mexican food in Michigan, you won't get better than this food truck. You have to wait outside in the extreme heat or cold sometimes, and I don't know how the cooks do it inside, but it's always worth it. There's now seating at picnic tables in the parking lot where the truck is set up. The sauces are delicious - the hot is hot, and the mild is mild. Chorizo tacos are my all time favorite buy here. Simple food prepared to perfection. That is what you'll get at El Oasis. The tacos al pastor are my favorite, and at $1.50 each, the price can't be beat. Be sure to ask for your tacos Mexican style (meat of choice + fresh onion + fresh cilantro). Can't say enough good things about this place. It took me years to visit El Oasis. I've lived around Lansing my entire life and I've driven up and down MI AVE countless times. I'll be honest, this taco truck creeped me out. Well, I had a craving for some tacos and I finally decided to give it a try. I've been back 4 times within the last month. I've tried a few different menu items; my favorites so far are the pupusas and a small burrito with pork.
