Ordering was a little challenging not speaking Spanish very well but we managed. We ordered the Tuna carpaccio, the "LA MAREA "SPECIAL ceviche and a Caesar salad to start. All excellent. Then we each ordered tacos. Pastor, octopus, and shrimp. All was excellent. We also got mojitos which our server had never made before but she did a great job. All the workers were very friendly. Shout out to our server Joanne. This place was highly recommended by our concierge Edgar at the Hyatt. He raved over this place. We all enjoyed it.

We ordered a few breakfast items and waited until 12:30 to order the things we wanted. I ordered the governor tacos and my friend ordered the seafood pasta. We also had the ceviche. It was okay. Everything I had here was fairly mid. The tacos were not my favorite... So much that I didn't even eat it. The server was nice but didn't speak English so I had trouble communicating with her (but not her fault since I'm the one in Mexico!) - so not as tourist friendly as some of the places in town center or by the resorts.

There is a cute little boutique bus when you pull up you can shop at. As you walk through the jungle on a beautiful cement path there are tree houses/rooms. As you walk up to ACRE it has a very grand beautiful entrance with staff greeting you and ready to seat you. The service was wonderful and the the food was divine. We ordered the bread balls and crispy rice to start. The crispy rice was my favorite! We had steak as our main with fries and sweet Potato. I would suggest trying the fish, our neighbors ordered it and it looked delicious (also confirmed very tasty!). We had the green margarita, wine, espresso martini and an affogato for dessert. Everything including the service was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this place for small or large parties.

The grounds are stunning -- peaceful, lush, and effortlessly cool -- with the perfect balance of elevated resort vibes and warmth. What makes it even more special is that Acre also operates an animal rescue, helping save dogs from the streets and even arranging adoptions around the world. We legitimately almost adopted one while we were there. The entire culinary concept is organic farm-to-table, and you can truly taste the difference in every dish. Everything felt intentional, fresh, and incredibly well executed. Food highlights: - The mixed beet salad was hands down the best beet salad I've ever had in my life. - The crispy rice bites are a must order. - The catch-of-the-day ceviche with soaked jicama and green apple was phenomenal and one of the most unique, well-balanced ceviche preparations I've ever had. - Steak tacos were fantastic. - The tomato tartare with fresh and sun-dried tomatoes, light aioli, and crackers completely surprised us -- insanely flavorful and memorable. Cocktails were equally impressive: - Sips & Beets (my fav. I love beets & I love mezcal. Didn't think they would go, but had to try. It's outstanding!) - Margarita independente was my other fav - Guayabita - Espresso martini made with tequila And beyond the food, the hospitality was next level. Executive Chef David personally stopped by our table, chatted with us, and after noticing me taking photos, gifted me one of the dried decorative corns from the property. Such a thoughtful, genuine touch that perfectly reflects the spirit of Acre. This was one of those rare dining experiences that feels magical from beginning to end. We'll absolutely be back (this will become a spot we visit every trip to cabo!)

Looking at old photos of the exterior, it's no wonder we've passed this place up every time we've driven through. It was around evening time when we noticed their business sign -bright and vivid. We were familiar with the restaurant in Cabo so we knew the seafood would be good. We had to stop by as we were too starve to wait. We were greeted, seated and given menus immediately. A complimentary tea cup size fish broth arrived at our table; it was bland, but hot. I ordered my usual mixto civeche as my partner with her usual clams. Our food and drinks arrived in no time. While she had no complaints, unfortunately, my ceviche was not what I had expected. I figured since I liked the Toro Guero in Cabo so much, La Paz location would not disappoint. My mixto ceviche was dry and was missing seasoning. It was missing a "kick." Nonetheless, I lemoned it up and finished the entire dish without issues. Like I said, I was hungry. We returned today before our flight back home to San Diego. I wanted to try something new. The shrimp burrito was ok. Not alot of shrimp, too mushy due to guacamole and the tortilla fell apart....to heavy and wet. I used a fork to finish the rest. Staff members are attentive. I would return again and maybe try sometime different
