And while the fish taco is the signature dish, I actually enjoyed the shrimp taco even more! We also tried two different ceviches. They were good and refreshing, but not the best ceviche I've had in La Paz. For me, the tacos are definitely the way to go. There were plenty of toppings and salsas to choose from, so you can customize everything to your liking. Lots of options to keep everyone happy. The space was nice and open with plenty of fans. Staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. Overall, a solid spot for tacos, and I'd definitely eat here again to try out the rest of the extensive menu.

Mariscos, in LaPaz, BCS MX, is a place that has both the great view and the great food. From a USA POV, it is at a great price, too. I ate here during a recent fishing trip to LaPaz. Not only does Mariscos have a great selection of cooked and uncooked fish dishes, but they will cook your catch as part of your dinner as well. What a fun and tasty thing to do with our super fresh catch. We had a number of items, and ordered too much. The central item for our crew was the Seafood platter of multiple preparations of fish as shown in the photos. Yow! Great sauces and great prep. Everything from sashimi (raw) to breaded and fried. We ordered some other dinners to go with it, which was a mistake because there was so much food. Service was great, they really care, and the view was great too - see the sunset photo from the top deck where we ate. When in LaPaz, this is on my list to visit.

It starts with a market visit, which was genuinely interesting and not rushed. The included transportation made everything easy, so there was nothing to think about logistically and we could just enjoy the experience. Once we got to the rooftop kitchen with beautiful views, it was clear this was not a watch and listen class. We made everything ourselves, both the food and the drinks. We learned how to make fresh guacamole, salsa, and shrimp tacos from scratch, step by step, and then sat down and ate what we cooked. Nothing pre made and nothing felt skipped. The drinks were just as hands on. We made our own margarita, mezcalita, and the double canala. It was not a quick pour and move on situation. You actually learn how they are made. The instructors explained things clearly without hovering, which made the class feel relaxed and fun instead of scripted. We asked questions, made a few small mistakes, fixed them, and learned more because of it. At the end, we received laminated recipe cards to take home, plus treats to bring with us, which was an unexpected and appreciated bonus. It made the experience feel complete, not transactional. Best of all, everything we ate and drank came from our own hands, which made the whole dinner feel earned. Considering how much you learn, the quality of the food and drinks, the rooftop setting, and the fact that this is essentially a full dinner experience, the price was more than reasonable. It felt like real value. This is a great experience for both couples and groups. Highly recommended and easily one of the highlights of our trip.

Where can we get a variety of Mariscos (seafood) that was fresh and tasty. Thankful he shared this little gem with us, El Toro Güero! It was about a 10 to 15 minute walk from our Airbnb. It was in the middle of a residential area and surprisingly pretty large. The service was incredible, we were sat down immediately, put right in front of a large fan and cold drinks were brought to us immediately. They brought out all the tostadas, crackers, and all the condiments we would need. Our table ordered a variety of plates and we enjoyed ask the seafood and appetizers including stuffed yellow chilis and stuffed potatoes. The only thing that was terrible was the chicken plate, it was a bad choice for us to make considering it's a seafood restaurant. They also have fresh agua frescas, we had the we had the refreshing cucumber lime water, and it was not too sweet. Very delicious! Surprisingly, they also served a zero proof alcohol beer, which was unheard of as we toured the rest of the city and other restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place! I also have to say it was very affordable for all the food we tried. Service was great! Fast and friendly!

The molcajete tierra y mar has carne asada, grilled shrimp, Nopales, queso fresco and a very tasty molcajete salsa that goes well on anything. We also got the lobster which came with alot of tails (i threw one in my molcajete). The fiesta de Camaron is a superior amalgamation of all kinds of shrimp served on a hot pot boat thing. Coconut shrimp, beer batter, panko, bacon wrapped, and grilled. We got a bucket of Victoria beer for 300 pesos, the prices are amazing for the quality! Big dining area out under a large wood roof, huge TVs with sports on, NFL and MLB playing. Great service. Not sure where to park, we ubered.
