    Pineapple basil margarita

Not sure I can express how much we LOVE this place. Every time we visit La Paz, this is a MUST stop. Their battered fish tacos are so amazing, they are gone before we can ever take a photo. Other dishes we enjoy are the battered scallop taco, scallop ceviche, and their spicy margaritas and pineapple basil margaritas. We always get great friendly service too. We hope this place sticks around for many, many years to come. Please support this business.

WOW!!!!! This restaurant is AMAZING!!! We had the Diablo shrimp tacos that were to die for! We didn't even have a chance to take a picture before we started eating because they were soooo good! The yellowtail sashimi was unbelievable too! DEFINITELY COMING BACK!!!!! A must stop in La Paz! The owner Ruben and all of the staff and super friendly and knowledgeable.

Stopped into Mc-Fisher after traveling to La Paz that morning. We were starving, so we were happy to get seated right away, and our server came over quickly. They have English and Spanish menus, so it makes it easy for most visitors. I started with a margarita, which was ok, but not the best I had in La Paz. But we were really there for the tacos anyway. We heard they had some of the best fish tacos in La Paz, and they did not disappoint! I got the diabla fish taco, which no worries - it wasn't too spicy, and the blue crab taco. Both were packed with seafood and were delicious. My husband had a fish and a shrimp taco, which he enjoyed as well. Two tacos was just the right amount for an afternoon meal. We referred this spot to our friends who went a few weeks later. They raved about it when they returned home. Decent prices, friendly and fast service, and great seafood. Definitely stop by when in La Paz!

One of my favorite places to get breakfast in La Paz. Their salsas are amazingly flavorful. I want to bottle them all and bring them home. It's the kinda place that you impatiently taste the salsas before the food, and you know you're in for a treat. We got the Omelet a la Diabla every time. I'm sure other things are good, but a shrimp omelet smothered in a chipotle sauce was just perfection. Great with those salsas too! The owner was there and we had a few issues he made sure were made right. He also sampled us some Mezcal. Great spot, seems highly underrated.

We got the smoked marlin, shrimp and onion and el diabla fish. All were good- the shrimp and onion was by far our favorite. So much flavor and so tasty! The food was a bit slow but we came at an off time in the afternoon. Overall, we loved the food and would come back again!!

Definitely our favorite Fish/shrimp tacos we have had in La Paz!!! The sashimi plate was amazing with yellowtail caught a few hours earlier. Highly recommend coming here!!!!

Must do while in La Paz! We have been stopping by Mc-Fisher for a few years now and every time we enjoy it more and more.

    Grilled fish taco

Food was delicious. Many sauce options and the food is fresh. My favorite tacos were the Camaron Al ajillo and the ensabollado. The ajillo had perfect amount of spice and flavor and the ensabollado did not need any sauces. The Margarita was a little weak but they have Mexican beers. Would definitely come back.

Food was good but nothing special. Service was slow but friendly. Will come back if in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there .

One of my favorite places to visit. Servers are really nice and food is amazing. I ordered grilled fish with fruit salad. Ultimate summer dish. By far the best fish dish I ever have.

The variety of seafood was outstanding. We ordered various seafood; smoked marlin, scallops and manta ray. The manta ray was our favorite!

Looking at old photos of the exterior, it's no wonder we've passed this place up every time we've driven through. It was around evening time when we noticed their business sign -bright and vivid. We were familiar with the restaurant in Cabo so we knew the seafood would be good. We had to stop by as we were too starve to wait. We were greeted, seated and given menus immediately. A complimentary tea cup size fish broth arrived at our table; it was bland, but hot. I ordered my usual mixto civeche as my partner with her usual clams. Our food and drinks arrived in no time. While she had no complaints, unfortunately, my ceviche was not what I had expected. I figured since I liked the Toro Guero in Cabo so much, La Paz location would not disappoint. My mixto ceviche was dry and was missing seasoning. It was missing a "kick." Nonetheless, I lemoned it up and finished the entire dish without issues. Like I said, I was hungry. We returned today before our flight back home to San Diego. I wanted to try something new. The shrimp burrito was ok. Not alot of shrimp, too mushy due to guacamole and the tortilla fell apart....to heavy and wet. I used a fork to finish the rest. Staff members are attentive. I would return again and maybe try sometime different

We had bone marrow served with refried beans (Who knew this was a killer combo?!?), Caesar salad (fresh and traditional), fish tacos (savory and snappy with zest), elote (maybe the highlight of the night, perfectly prepared tender corn oozing with flavor), whole snapper roasted over mesquite, rib eye (perfect medium rare with crispy rendered fat)...oh man...what a treat!
