    Burrito Vegetariano
    Steve A.

Checked out this much better than expected small Mexican restaurant that of course has tacos and burritos. El Paisano is a good authentic place. It has no alcohol, which is the only bad thing. Food is worth going for though of course. The prices are pretty cheap, and you get a lot. At lunch it only had one other table occupied inside. It still felt kind of busy though with only a few people. That's because the place is small and there's not much room, but it's not like it's cramped though. Got a burrito. It's about $7 for a big one. The Burrito Vegetariano is filled with beans, cheese which I left off, lettuce, onions, sour cream which I left off, and tomatoes. Add sides of beans and rice for a couple bucks. There's also other authentic Mexican items like tortas. Food can get pretty spicy so be careful. It's especially true of the salsa that comes with the chips, and there's a pretty big kick. There's also plenty to get for both meat eaters and vegetarians.

Great little taco shop. I got 3 steak tacos beans and rice for about $13. I walked in to order and was out in less than 10 minutes

Last night was my first time ordering from here. I had a $15 off coupon to use through Grubhub, and decided to give this place a try. I'm so glad I did. We ordered the taco special, which came with three tacos, steak, chicken, ground beef. It also included rice and beans with a can of soda for $5.99. I was shocked at how good the tacos were, because I really don't like corn tortillas but these were some of the best in the city for sure. The tacos were a good size, filled with lots of meats and they were not stingy and toppings at all. The steak was definitely my favorite, but the ground beef and chicken was also very good. I also ordered a steak burrito, which I also did enjoy. I will definitely be back soon, this place is delicious. My fiancé loved everything!

2 asada tacos, 1 pollo taco and chips with bean dip. All was great!

Love this spot! Staying with a friend here, was working remote and hungry so I hit the block to see what I come across. This gem pops up, smelling marvelous. I walk in and it has a real homie vibe, guy working the register is mad cool! Warmly greets me and takes my order. 2 asada tacos, 1 pollo taco, I asked for chips and queso (he said they don't have a queso dip but recommended a bean dip with cheese, it was bomb) and a water. $16 for this feast and it was all on point. I would return for sure.

Paisano: Chilaquiles Egg and Steak with Horchata

Affordable. Divey. Counter Service. Chips & Salsa comes with meals. Elevated Steak & Eggs, literal CHILAQUILES EGGS & STEAK. Substandard steak (thin & hard, but well- seasoned). THAT hangover cure, CHILAQUILES is fluffily crunchy like a cloud. HORCHATA is too sweet with too much water. You get, murky sugared water. SERVICE is slow, but HELP WANTED is posted.

Super Burrito Suizo with Rice & Beans 1 can of Coke. Complementary Chips and Salsa Total Cost $9.94 Super Burrito Suizo The only difference between a regular Burrito Suizo and a Super Burrito is that they add Sour Cream, Avocado, Onions and Cilantro. My first impression was upsetting due to the lack of cheese half melted on top. However, the burrito itself wasn't bad. It didn't stand out from any other place that I have ordered from but it wasn't sloppy either. The Avocados on the inside added something extra to the experience but nothing that memorable unfortunately. If I were to rate the Super Burrito Suizo by itself, I give it 3 out of 5. Rice and Beans For some reason there has only been a few places that something as simple as Rice and Beans that has actually stood out to me. Unfortunately once again, nothing special. I honestly believe I found a small cooked potato in my rice which was a little surprisingly considering I didn't order any fries. The Beans I will give .50 out 1. Chips and Salsa (Complimentary) The chips weren't bad in my opinion. They honestly tasted more like a flower chip instead of corn. I'm sure whether or not the make them homemade or not but they were decent. I was more fascinated with the green and red sauce. Wing sauce delicious tasty with visible ingredients that they added. The red sauce wasn't bad either. The red sauce definitely had a kick to it. Conclusion To make this short and sweet, there is nothing that stands out particularly from most places but the food isn't bad either. I just have higher expectations.

    Combo burrito special. Awesome

Great food great prices! Family business I got the combo burrito and it was delicious Lots of carne and included avocado The horchata is sweet and tasty I'll be back.

Starting with margaritas (because obviously ‍), queso and chips that were dangerously good, and the chicken empanadas that came out perfectly crispy with so much flavor. We kept looking at each other after every bite like "okay wait... THIS is the best thing here" and then another plate would arrive and prove us wrong again The carnitas fried rice??? I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it. So savory, flavorful, comforting, and packed with crispy carnitas on top with the eggs and pickled onions... literally unreal. And then the skirt steak tacos absolutely stole the show. The steak was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and paired so perfectly with all the toppings and sauces. Every single bite tasted fresh and homemade in the best way possible. And can we talk about the ambience for a second because WOW. I must admit that I had low expectations because quite frankly, I have not enjoyed Mexican food outside of Mexico or California. Both adults and the VERY picky children in our group all enjoyed our meals. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and the other adult ordered a chile relleno combo, which I also got to try. Everything was delicious and devoured by all! We were so full but the owner talked us into the chocoflan, and we did not regret trying it. It was soooo good! Speaking of the owner, the service was great. We really enjoyed how he and the rest of the staff were very courteous. It is a small establishment, and it gets a good amount of people, so I assume that there are waits during peak hours. I highly recommend Sabroso! Appetizers were quac and chips, and shrimp ceviche. The guac was really good, but the ceviche was the star. Served on a bed of cucumbers, it was visually beautiful, and the flavor was fresh and complex. There was also a LOT of it. We ended up taking some home. Entrees were steak and shrimp for me, and Tampiquena for my friend. In both dishes, the steak was done to perfection. The sauce that came with my shrimp was spicy and deep--lots of flavor layers there. Both of us took home portions of our meals because there was a lot of food on the plates. Finally, the service--the servers are attentive without hovering. If we needed something, they were there, but never intrusive. It is hard to believe this is a little neighborhood spot, given the service and the quality of the food. It was not too busy tonight--we ate early--but I recommend reservations. It is very popular with the neighborhood. Bottom line, we each had 2 margaritas, appetizers, and entrees, and our bills with tip were around $105.00 each--totally worth it!
