There were seven of us, and we ordered a mix of breakfast and lunch. Everything came out fast, fresh, and hot. Breakfast was a hit--especially the pancakes. They had this perfect little crunch on the outside, and of course we had to order some "for the table" because that's just what we do. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and all the bacon and sausage were delicious. The lunch crew was just as happy. The bleu cheeseburger looked amazing, and the fries were perfectly crispy. My brother-in-law ordered the chicken fried steak again because he loved it last time, and he said it was just as good--tender, flavorful, and that gravy was spot-on. Overall, Alda's Diner is such a great find. Good, simple, home-cooked food done right. We'll definitely be back, and if you haven't tried it yet, you should!

Even if she did spill a bit of coffee on me which she was apologetic for. My husband got the crab cake Benedict and I got the strawberry stuffed French toast. Absolutely loved everything! My husband's only note was that he did not like the corn inside crab cake. The cheesy hash browns were definitely a hit for us! The stuffed French toast was divine - basically desert!
