We quit going to this location. As, prices continue to go up and food quality dropped. It's been a couple of years so, We decided to try it again. My seat cushions was ripped and Men's restrooms didn't have soap. Food was mediocre, but the price sure was top dollar. There are 100's of Mexican style places out here. You can eat better for cheaper some where else, and they probably have hand soap. read more

My wife and I went there for a quick meal on a Monday night. Horrible decision. Our server was just released to serve on his own. Now I understand when someone is new to the game but our poor guy needs a lot more training. We ordered an appetizer which came out quickly along with drinks and chips and salsa. Half way through our appetizer we asked for more chips. Never got them until we had to ask our server a third time for more chips. Finally got them. Now by this time we had already ordered our meal. Keep in mind the restaurant was not even half full and our server had maybe 3 to 4 tables. 30 minutes later we still have not received our food. I walked up to the kitchen and asked for a manager. Told him our story and asked to cancel our food and asked for our check from what we had ordered. He brought us the bill and I paid it, a $4 tea, an $8 beer and a $12 appetizer. I feel at that point to save face, he should have said due to our inconvenience that I owe nothing. It will be a very long time that we step foot in that restaurant again. read more

I ordered Uber Eats and picked El Paso, I ordered chicken quesadillas with a small queso. All of the food was delicious!! A small and it was very small cup of queso was $6 which was too much for the small portion. However, it tasted great, had a bit of a kick and was just melted cheese!! I will order again!! read more

We sat around for hours with numerous children, not offered any more chips, not offered more drinks, not offered an explanation, nor an apology . We were held hostage in this place that was obviously overbooked and understaffed. If you cannot provide reasonable service to your huge restaurant, then don't take as many customers. Please, for the love of Pete , just tell me NO at the door so I can move on, and not waste 3 hours of my time. Also, why don't you do the right thing and apologize, and offer compensation. ?? Also, to add insult to injury the food came out wrong, my husband didn't get the sides with his fajitas, and believe it or not we actually paid 200$ for this experience. They really got us good. Our waitress (Adrianna) was excellent. The food was just okay, only slightly better than fast food. Inside the restaurant is terrible because of the LOUD live music. If I wanted to listen to live music I'd go to a venue known for live music (bar, stadium). This is supposed to be a restaurant. We complained to our waitress who told the manager. Then a man wearing an apron (manager?) came and stood by our table for a while. I guess he was gauging to see how loud it was. It may have been fine to him but he wasn't trying to have a conversation with people at our table. We literally had to yell at each other to talk. We loved going here until recently. We always looked at this establishment as family friendly. It seems like it's more like a "woke" restaurant. We went one night and couples (same sex) were dancing and passionately kissing while my daughter was asking lots of questions about their display of affection. It wasn't just 1 couple; it was SEVERAL! It appeared that one of the members of the band that was playing (a woman) was gay. So, maybe these were people she knew. This place is just beautiful! Table side guacamole done well! "Paige" (our server) Did a great job preparing the guacamole and provided excellent service. One thing you learned to appreciate someone being around enough to get your immediate needs taken care of but not so much that they're constantly talking to you and interrupting conversations. We have been regulars since the Youngsville location opened -- but now the restaurant has new owners/management and the food is going downhill fast. They have changed their menu, have raised their prices, and have shrunk the size of their portions. On our last visit the service was awful too. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting for chips and salsa. Next time we feel like getting Mexican food we will be going somewhere else. Worst "mexican food" I ever ate. Beautiful venue inside but the food is absolutely disgusting. Also a large party was allowing about 10 of their kids to run back and forth between the outside and inside of the restaurant. I've never seen anything like it. When looking at the family they didn't seem to think anything of it. I asked the server for some help and they didn't seem phased by it. My guest and I went inside after dealing with it for 10 min outside and the kids started running around inside too. We ate fast and left. The prices were also WAY out of line not just for how bad of quality it was but in general for Mexican food. And I wouldn't call this Mexican food at all. I enjoy the El Paso location in Lafayette, but this one is not as good. The food is good but the place is VERY noisy and the atmosphere is lacking. My family waited 30 minutes to be sat. Our name came up on the list to be sat next, inside the restaurant. A very bullish hostess came up and told my wife we weren't up next and they could sit us outside. We told her we were next to be sat inside, but she didn't care. She tried sitting us on the SIDEWALK. Literally the sidewalk. When we tried to get things corrected (and we were very polite) she got really aggressive with us and made it seem it was all our fault. She crossed our name off the list and told us she had to sit the other 8 people after us first. She was absolutely a terrible person and made us feel lower than her. El Paso in youngsville is our favorite! Better service, atmosphere, and food than the others. We love it.. However, the hostess' need better training on greeting and seating. We walked up to the hostess stand and were never greeted by anyone. The girls in the front looked at us and still didnt say a word. Didn't ask how many were in our party, didn't ask if we wanted inside or outside seating. She grabbed two menus & waved her hand at us to follow her to a table inside. We did not follow her and said we wanted to sit outside. She brought us to a table outside put the menus down on a table & walked away. I'm not sure what they were trained to do, but if thats it.. then it isnt very professional. better greeting ans seating would make it much better. Overall, great food! read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. Went to the bar to order food. Girl says "I can't take your order here, but she can" and pointed to the other side of the bar. A white guy sits down right next to me...the NEXT SEAT!!! And she takes his order. I proceeded to look at the menu. She then helps two other guys that sat down at the bar who ordered food. Black people....stay AWAY!!!! No one asked if I wanted anything and I just sat there. 1st visit to this location. I ordered the Beef Arrachera, the flavor was good, but the dish was supposed to be served with grilled onions. There were no onions on the plate and I had to ask twice for them. My wife ordered the Papasitos Favorito. It was so HOT she could not eat it. The other couple with us ordered the Burrito Asada, with grilled shrimp. The shrimp were not grilled and they were nearly raw. The manager stopped by and asked how was our dinner. We gave him our thoughts and he left. Never came back and when the bill came there was no consideration for the issues. Disappointed that the manager never came back to follow up. We have eaten at the El Paso on Ambassador Caffery parkway and it has been very good. Since this restaurant has recently opened we chalked it up to that. We ate here for the first time last night. The owner greeted us at the door and recommended enchiladas el carbon and fajita carne essada. Both were amazing. The waiter brought the wrong margaritas by mistake and the owner took them off the ticket without us asking him to. Best in class service. We already can't wait to go back. read more
